Wow. Despite what their website says, "We're here to help", they are very difficult to get in touch with. This is the second time I've tried to contact them, and after 25 minutes of being on hold, no one has picked up. I had the same experience the first time, and finally gave up. The collection 'kit' that was sent out was confusing, with two collection envelopes and two mailing envelopes, and a small half page form that needed to be filled out and enclosed. The only way I could figure out what was what was based on which envelopes had the ID code. Two kits were sent in three weeks ago. The kits were received, and the person who set up the account was notified that they were received. Results were expected on Friday the 12th. Today is the 16th, and nothing has been received. People who are using this service are already anxious about the results. To delay the results like this is not professional. And that 'available on their website'? Um, no. They send you the results. Getting them online was not offered as a possibility at time of ordering the services. read more

After 10 days they could not locate samples sent and had extreme difficulty locating my prepaid account. I was not impressed and considered this might be representative of general competence. Unprofessional phone employees should have been a red flag. One kept calling me"Bud" whenever I asked a question. Another, didn't understand a question and became immediately sarcastic rather than ask for clarification. It appears to me these phone associates have no phone etiquette training and little supervision. I got the idea these people have no respect for their clientele. My experience did not instill confidence and I cannot recommend them. read more

Terrible communication. Their phone recording says you will get an email within minutes of when the DNA sample is received. Never received it. I had to call in. They didn't answer emails either. They told me they had to do a $200 viability study on the unusual sample sent in. I get that. Had to call to get the results of that. They said the sample was viable. I waited another week (they didn't answer emails) and called only to find out that "just that day" they had run a test but there was not enough DNA to get the markers they needed. There would be no results. Yet I paid for the viability test and the DNA test and ended up with nothing. Complete rip off. Stay away! read more

Caveat emptor.... Buyer beware! I purchased a Groupon for my DNA Testing and got my test results back in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, they were not my personal test results. The DNA Testing I received did not match a single family member on either side of my family? I was from a continent that represented 89% of my genetic population group, and matched no one. Maybe I was adopted, that was an interesting discussion with Mom and Dad. Also, I could not be the father of my biological daughter who had her testing done by reputable company Ancestry.com. Talk about disappointing results? Trust me it is a lot less stress to just get your testing done by Ancestry.com or another reputable company. When I got my results back from Ancestry.com they aligned perfectly with my Family History, and relatives on both sides of my family. Even better was I had a direct Family Link to my (Mother), and Daughter. So I wasn't adopted, and I was the Father! Here is what DNA Diagnostics Center said to me in an e-mail when I shared how they did not properly test my DNA: Hello, Thank you for your email. We test every sample twice to ensure accuracy. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue a refund at this point as the service that we provide is what is advertised, and per the Terms and Conditions of the test once samples are sent to the laboratory no refund is available. Please know that this test only covers the 4 founding population groups. Best Regards, Meredith Yes, they tested someone's DNA and their sample went to the LAB it just wasn't mine. Testing it twice doesn't solve an improper chain of custody. Don't waste your time or money with this company, unless you want to wonder about the accuracy of their testing? read more

DNA Diagnostics Center claims to be the largest paternity test lab, but they are also the worst. There are dozens of other labs that can conduct paternity tests, but DNA Diagnostics Center will give you the runaround big time. I just spent 20 minutes holding to speak to someone, listening to the same repeated recording about how someone will help me momentarily. I finally gave up. To make matters worse, when you are somehow able to reach someone, they always tell you that you have reached the wrong department, and then they put you back on hold. Worse, they change your case number in mid-process, just to keep matters interesting. Take your paternity testing business elsewhere. read more

I really would like to give them NO STARS at all, but in order to post this you must have to rate it. Waist of money I bought and shipped it out and they have to nerve to tell me that it might have got lost in the mail there is nothing they could do for me. I took pictures of it going in the post office mail box. Oh and the same thing supposedly happened to the other family that was getting the same test done for the same child. They're NOT #1 at all. Unfortunately there is no negative point to give . The customer service guaranteed the delivery of results in two weeks period, however in the day of testing, when we went to the collection center, they were closed and did not open for 2 hours. After making 5-6 phone calls and staying on the line for over 15 minutes at the time, they told me that there was a problem with the agent in the collection facility. Three days later i got a phone call from them saying that we need to fill out some forms with signatures that apparently they forgot to give us to sign, in order to get the results ready. We faxed the forms and email it back to the testing center, also I made a phone call to their center to make sure they received it. After 5 weeks, i called to inquire on the results because they were supposed to deliver in time and We have had already missed the deadline to send the results to the INS for immigration purposes. The answer i got from them was :" we are sorry, we forgot to enter your mailing address to the lab and i will do it immediately and You will have my results in next 2 weeks". I told them I needed fast, and requested for them to ship it with priority mail, however they answered very unpleasant that that was not their policy. I informed them I cannot accept this because I passed my deadline for sending the test results and I told them I will dispute this transaction. After i dispute my transaction with AMX it took another month to get my money back . Now they went and send another Bill and mentioned they will send this to collection agency if i dont pay for the test that delivered in 6 weeks instead of 2 weeks after i already mailed my document to INS with out test result which caused rejection of my Case due to lack of supported evidence and my family had to leave the USA and come back to file again due to expiration of visa ( cost me another 6k ticket cost ) . The fact i payed in full before testing date , they changed the time with out notice , they did mistake on collecting document , they did mistake on entering data , and the worst thing they were not even willing to over night the result and being so rude on phone after i keep asking of sending result with priority mail , and after all this i had to go through another phone calls and sending supporting Doc and phone record to my CC company to dispute , now they threatening to send bill to collection agency is ridicules and waisting my time . read more
