The food was extraordinary, but it's only part of what made the evening special. Chef Michael arrived hours early to prep, and the kitchen smelled increasingly wonderful as we walked through. Unfortunately, the washing machine above the kitchen sprang a leak during cooking, causing water to drip through the ceiling. This didn't faze him at all--if anything, his composure was impressive to witness. The kitchen looked better after he left than when he arrived. We'd do it again in a heartbeat.
