We were celebrating my 78th Birthday and we ordered the surf and Turf dinner for 10 guest. For appetizers we had cocoanut shrimp, oysters Rockefeller and ceviche followed by spinach, strawberry, pecan and feta salad. Dinner was grill mahi-mahi, steak, roasted potatoes, asparagus and zucchini. Everything was amazing. Chef Chow cooked everything to perfection. He also served and cleaned everything before he left. Thanks to Chef Chow for making this celebration so special. This is the second time we use the Gringo Ninja and again we gave them 5 Stars. We definitely recommend their catering services. read more

We booked Gringo Ninja for a pretty last minute (one evening before) hibachi dinner experience for 19 people for my bachelorette trip and it was probably my favorite part of the trip. Our chef, Ashton, was extremely fun, personable, and talented!!! I (the bride-to-be) am not a drinker, but Ashton made sure I still had a blast and was entertained without any pressure to drink the soju or sake. Dinner was DELICIOUS, and Ashton even stuck around after serving us to keep the fun going by the pool! I would highly recommend this company to anyone and everyone! We had our whole family together at Oak Island for a beach vacation. 6 adults and 3 kids ranging from 14 months to 3 years old. We had Kyle from Gringo Ninja come and cook up the American BBQ dinner. I'm not a hibachi guy, never really was, I enjoyed the tricks, but was never really a fan of the food they serve, blame an American pallet growing up. As I grow older, I'm willing to give other foods a shot, wanting to see what I'm missing, and my first exposure to the world of hibachi was through this chef for hire, and he did not disappoint. Chef Yaki was incredibly kind and put on a great show for me and extended family. The food was amazing, if this is what proper hibachi tastes like, I'm excited to try more of it in the future. We utilized Chef Kelly in St. Pete, FL and had a great time! He made excellent margaritas and tacos, perfect for a casual night-in. We all noted that he was the perfect amount of present but not intrusive; made drinks, checked in throughout the experience, but didn't get overly-involved.
