As soon as I walked in, a gentleman and a lady greeted everyone, asked the reason for their visit, and guided each person through the process. They also let you know whether your service could be handled in-house or if it needed to be completed at the DMV. They directed me to the kiosk to complete my application. Once I finished, I scanned the QR code to receive my place in line. There were four people ahead of me, and by the time I was called, they had all been helped. The entire process took less than 15 minutes. Everyone was friendly, professional, and very helpful. Thank you for making the experience so quick and easy! read more

Decided to give this office a try. When we walked in, there was only one employee and one customer, so the process seemed very calm and efficient. This office is not a traditional DMV and does offer limited services, which unfortunately comes with a few restrictions. According to the website, they offer knowledge tests, so I brought my child in for her permit test. However, because she does not yet have a driver's license or state-issued ID and wasn't already in the system, we were told we would need to go to the regular DMV instead. Aside from that inconvenience, I can definitely see the appeal and ease of using this office for eligible services. The gentleman working there was extremely kind, professional, and helpful throughout the experience. read more

Car registration renewal was quick. Once I got to the front of the line it was literally 2 minutes! There were 3 people in front of me when I came on a Tuesday just before noon. If you bring your car renewal registration form the DMV mails to you it will expedite the process. The kiosk is pretty straightforward to use. You touch the screen to start. Select your language. Scan the bar code on top of your renewal notice. Confirm the vehicle. Then confirm you're ok with the processing fee. Tap your credit card then your registration card with sticker prints below. Faster than the DMV office and possibly faster than AAA. Thank you for saving me time DMV Express! read more

Very Poorly Organized Express Kiosk Line The DMV Express Kiosk line is extremely poorly managed. There is no rope, barrier, or clearly defined line area, which makes it very easy for people to simply walk up and cut in front of those who have been patiently waiting. What makes it even more frustrating is that there doesn't appear to be any staff monitoring or controlling the line. You can stand there waiting your turn, only to have someone walk in from the side and get ahead of you because there is nothing clearly marking where the line begins or ends. The Express Kiosk is supposed to make the DMV process faster and more convenient, but the lack of basic line organization creates unnecessary frustration and conflict between customers. A simple roped-off queue, clear signage, and someone periodically monitoring the line would make a huge difference. The DMV really needs to improve the organization and control of this area. read more

Heads up don't go here close to closing time. I came in around 4:30 PM for something urgent, and the staff seemed completely checked out and ready to clock out. They brushed me off and told me to come back tomorrow instead of helping. read more

Quicker service than dmv. Small place and can get busy. Need to scan the qr code to stand in line for a number. Resolved my issue.

I appreciate that they have a DMV express in Murrieta just for ID and Drivers license applications. They are very limited in the things they can do. It helps when Hemet and Temecula are super busy. The service here is just Ok. It isn't the best. You can get" in line" before you arrive. However, you could miss being called if you're late. The check in can be very confusing if you don't book online. 2 people who came after me were unsure what to do. One was told to scan the QR code. He didn't know where that was. I feel that they could do better with this. Otherwise, the wait was short and it was convenient. read more

DMV Murrieta Express - Registration Services Near Me - Murrieta, California

Why have hours if you are in the door before 5pm? "We don't process anything after 4:30PM". What an ass hole.

This place was great! I recommend doing your application here instead of online in case you have a question. I got my real ID and because I did not have my apartment number for protection purposes my license got sent back to Sacramento and destroyed. So I was in a bind waiting over two months trying to figure out where my license was! When I logged in online it said I had to review it! So I was thinking what I had to approve it or something. So I went to the Murrieta DMV to see what I needed to approve to get the ball rolling. When I went there the guy working said that it was sent back! But I would have to pay $30 to get it resent even though I had told the lady the circumstances of why my apartment number was not on there. So I did not want to pay $30 again or redo the application. I was pretty irritated and it was very hot that day. So I left and I went to Temecula DMV. So this is like the fifth time I've been to Temecula DMV in the last two months. Waited at the DMV in Temecula to basically have them tell me the same thing. Thank goodness I was so irritated after waiting in the heat to be told the same thing. No way to waive the fees etc. and I was just basically going to have to eat the cost again. So I went home frustrated and just decided to reapply online and I had some issues where it wouldn't let me. So I came back to Murrieta express And I had a completely different experience and outcome and it was fantastic! First time I've not seen a very long line so that was a bonus! I got to work with Rose and I met the other lady named Rose. They were so nice and fast and efficient. They were able to clarify that I actually did not have to Pay the fee again! So I don't know if the other guy just said I had to because I was grouchy for having it destroyed and sent back or if he was wrong. But Rose was like no you just have to go fill out a new application. I ended up using my PO Box instead for safety And that was it. She got me a temporary license so I can continue working since I use my car for work. So I immediately had to give both of the ladies a shout out! Rose with the light brown hair was just so fast and amazing. I really did not have any hope that this would go well and it was fantastic. So I really want everybody to know that this is the location to go to to at least fixed any issues if you have any after ordering your real ID and submitting all the paperwork in Temecula. They cannot do everything that the other DMV does but the stuff that they do they get it done very fast and it saves a ton of time! I hope they keep this location open! read more

Had the best experience today at this location. Came in to ask a question as I was confused in regard to my DL renewal that I had done by mail and online. We were the only ones in there so it was super chill and easy to do another online application. I took a quick eye test, got my picture retaken and was issued a temporary DL in less than 10 minutes. The two ladies at the front desk this morning of 12/09/25 were both really helpful and friendly, received service with a smile and left feeling relieved that the process was so quick and easy! read more

Service was excellent and process was very quick!!! I highly recommend using them for any minor DMV necessities...

This is a note to teens and parents. You CANNOT take your initial permit test here. I took my daughter here to take her initial permit test because a pic of the billboard says permit testing. Come to find out that is not the case for INITIAL TESTING. Hope this helps at least person! read more

I came here to process my new drivers license with my updated last name after getting married. I already filled out the name change driver's license application online through dmv.ca.gov and brought my application number with me to the appointment. Although I had my reading materials with me and was prepared to wait hours, I was helped as soon as I walked in the door! After confirming my information and taking my picture, I was out the door in 5 minutes literally shocked! read more

Renewed my drivers license. In and out in under 10 minutes. Awesome service. The best DMV experience ever.

Thank you for putting DMV Murrieta Express in my area. The line didn't take too long which was good. Went on a Tuesday afternoon was done in about 45min. Which is fantastic! I came to change my name and the staff there was helpful and served with a smile. I had to fill out an application online but when I was done was served right away. For now they only process DL no real ID. I would highly recommend service here. The only reason for a 4 star was limited staffing and little confusing on take a number. But service overall was great! read more

Drivers license service requested : I went to this facility to get my motorcycle driver license. I had my picture taken and I took my M1 written/multiple choice test and passed, all within 15 minutes of arriving. I was the only customer in the building. I did not know that the DMV had this option, it is great to not have to be at the DMV for hours upon hours. Also all of the staff were so nice and friendly. The wait was minimal to none. Service was fast and there is no difference in pricing. read more

I have gone to DMV Express on Clinton Keith before, and they were always helpful and courteous. Today, however, there was a little man with a complex who decided to be arrogant instead of helpful, and ruined everything I had hoped for. I went in to ask what the process is for getting a non-op vehicle back to registration, and how to get the smog completed. Instead of giving me assistance, he told me, "We don't do registrations" and not a word more. I explained, I'm not here for a registration, I'm just asking for guidance of how to proceed with it, and again he told me "As I said, we don't do registrations." I repeated that I was not seeking a renewal, I just wanted to know how to proceed. He could have said to me, "you'll have to go to a regular field office for that information or you can go online," but telling me "we don't do registrations doesn't help at all. I asked him why he can't just give me some information, and he said, "I answered you: we don't do registrations, here, what don't you understand?" I asked him why he was being a jack*ass about it, and he responded, "I answered your question three damn times you f*cking pri*ck." At that point, I was getting very angry and was walking to the door and I turned and told him he was being a f*cking *asshole." At that point, I was at the door and he approached me, taunting me, and I told him not to get in my face. He walked up and got in my face - about three inches from mine - and said, "Oh yeah, what are you going to do about it, you f*cking *sshole." I told him again, "Get out of my face, you keep walking up and I'm taking it as a threat." To that, he responded, "Oh please try something, what are you going to do? I will f*ck you up. What are you going to do?" After that a customer walked in, bumped into me and cussed at me, he was cussing at me, and there were multiple customers watching. None of the staff made any attempt to retrieve him, as he kept getting in my face taunting me to "do something." As an autistic person, getting in my face making threats isn't going to make me ball up and cry, I'm going to defend myself, and if I had been a different, younger person instead of a senior citizen, on a veteran disability, I would have laid him out flat. He took was was once a great office with helpful people and turned it into a place I will never visit again. The sheer audacity of talking to a customer that way and inciting anger instead of being helpful is unacceptable. Then to taunt me to "do something" and that he would "f*ck me up"?? He should not have a job after that, it is less than unacceptable. I called into the DMV to file a complaint, Amanda was great and very helpful, but then I got some woman named Veronica(?) who is allegedly a manager, and all she was argumentative and immediately jumped on the defensive. She started to tell me that office doesn't do registrations, and I told her, "I already heard from him that he doesn't do registrations, I don't need to be put through this again." She said, "Well sir, that office can't help you with registrations." That's the point that I hung up, I don't need this crap from a service bureau I am forced to deal with. I will post this complaint far and wide until someone is held accountable for horrible customer service. One Star is about four stars too man for this office, based on my experience today. Customer service doesn't exist anymore, all you get are people with a chip on their shoulder trying to prove the customer wrong. Now, tell little man with the complex to come to my home and stand on my property and get in my face like that, it WILL be a different scenario, I promise. read more

This really is an EXPRESS! I was in and out in 10 min for a license renewal with address/name change! I came in 10 min after opening and there was only 1-2 other people there. They have many kiosks to check in/fill out paperwork but if you filled out an application prior to, you'll be in and out. The ladies working were also so kind. Highly recommend! read more

Quick and easy! Staff was very friendly as well as long as you have all the right paperwork they can help you!

This is the best place ever, they need to add more of these throughout CA. Getting things done that otherwise would take 1-2 hours plus at regular dmv offices only takes 5-10 minutes here. The service is amazing and the value of having a dmv express is something much needed. Please keep this place open and open many more! read more

Vehicle registration payments can only be processed here when the DMV machine is working.

They were very quick and efficient. Helpful and knowledgeable. They got me in immediately and took care of what needed to be done.

There were only two employees working the front, and I needed help getting a number, but no one was available to assist me. I asked twice, but the staff seemed overwhelmed and stressed. On top of that, I didn't appreciate one of the employees rolling their eyes at me--it felt really dismissive. read more

Great customer service and 100 times quicker than going to the DMV. This is a hidden gem.

Excellent excellent service. Highly recommended for quick service. We were in and out less than one half hour.

When I went in there a few days before (as there is no phone number so you can't call them) to ask if they do a Real ID, I was told they do, but when my son drove up there, they told him they don't. So the next day he went first thing to the Temecula DMV and was in and out in just over an hour with renewing his driver's license and his Real ID. read more

Great service, great communication. She even asked about my day! That's unheard of. Skip going to Temecula dmv (shut them down!) just go to this dmv or the hemet one.
