I appreciate that they have a DMV express in Murrieta just for ID and Drivers license applications. They are very limited in the things they can do. It helps when Hemet and Temecula are super busy. The service here is just Ok. It isn't the best. You can get" in line" before you arrive. However, you could miss being called if you're late. The check in can be very confusing if you don't book online. 2 people who came after me were unsure what to do. One was told to scan the QR code. He didn't know where that was. Had the best experience today at this location. Came in to ask a question as I was confused in regard to my DL renewal that I had done by mail and online. We were the only ones in there so it was super chill and easy to do another online application. I took a quick eye test, got my picture retaken and was issued a temporary DL in less than 10 minutes. This place was great! I recommend doing your application here instead of online in case you have a question. I got my real ID and because I did not have my apartment number for protection purposes my license got sent back to Sacramento and destroyed. So I was in a bind waiting over two months trying to figure out where my license was! When I logged in online it said I had to review it! So I was thinking what I had to approve it or something. So I went to the Murrieta DMV to see what I needed to approve to get the ball rolling. When I went there the guy working said that it was sent back! But I would have to pay $30 to get it resent even though I had told the lady the circumstances of why my apartment number was not on there. So I did not want to pay $30 again or redo the application. I was pretty irritated and it was very hot that day. So I left and I went to Temecula DMV. So this is like the fifth time I've been to Temecula DMV in the last two months. Waited at the DMV in Temecula to basically have them tell me the same thing. Thank goodness I was so irritated after waiting in the heat to be told the same thing. No way to waive the fees etc. and I was just basically going to have to eat the cost again. So I went home frustrated and just decided to reapply online and I had some issues where it wouldn't let me. So I came back to Murrieta express And I had a completely different experience and outcome and it was fantastic! First time I've not seen a very long line so that was a bonus! I got to work with Rose and I met the other lady named Rose. They were so nice and fast and efficient. They were able to clarify that I actually did not have to Pay the fee again! So I don't know if the other guy just said I had to because I was grouchy for having it destroyed and sent back or if he was wrong. But Rose was like no you just have to go fill out a new application. I ended up using my PO Box instead for safety And that was it. She got me a temporary license so I can continue working since I use my car for work. So I immediately had to give both of the ladies a shout out! Rose with the light brown hair was just so fast and amazing. I really did not have any hope that this would go well and it was fantastic. So I really want everybody to know that this is the location to go to to at least fixed any issues if you have any after ordering your real ID and submitting all the paperwork in Temecula. They cannot do everything that the other DMV does but the stuff that they do they get it done very fast and it saves a ton of time! I hope they keep this location open! read more

Thank you for putting DMV Murrieta Express in my area. The line didn't take too long which was good. Went on a Tuesday afternoon was done in about 45min. Which is fantastic! I came to change my name and the staff there was helpful and served with a smile. I had to fill out an application online but when I was done was served right away. For now they only process DL no real ID. I would highly recommend service here. The only reason for a 4 star was limited staffing and little confusing on take a number. Drivers license service requested : I went to this facility to get my motorcycle driver license. I had my picture taken and I took my M1 written/multiple choice test and passed, all within 15 minutes of arriving. I was the only customer in the building. I did not know that the DMV had this option, it is great to not have to be at the DMV for hours upon hours. Also all of the staff were so nice and friendly. The wait was minimal to none. I have gone to DMV Express on Clinton Keith before, and they were always helpful and courteous. Today, however, there was a little man with a complex who decided to be arrogant instead of helpful, and ruined everything I had hoped for. I went in to ask what the process is for getting a non-op vehicle back to registration, and how to get the smog completed. Instead of giving me assistance, he told me, "We don't do registrations" and not a word more. I explained, I'm not here for a registration, I'm just asking for guidance of how to proceed with it, and again he told me "As I said, we don't do registrations." I repeated that I was not seeking a renewal, I just wanted to know how to proceed. He could have said to me, "you'll have to go to a regular field office for that information or you can go online," but telling me "we don't do registrations doesn't help at all. I asked him why he can't just give me some information, and he said, "I answered you: we don't do registrations, here, what don't you understand?" I asked him why he was being a jack*ass about it, and he responded, "I answered your question three damn times you f*cking pri*ck." At that point, I was getting very angry and was walking to the door and I turned and told him he was being a f*cking *asshole." At that point, I was at the door and he approached me, taunting me, and I told him not to get in my face. He walked up and got in my face - about three inches from mine - and said, "Oh yeah, what are you going to do about it, you f*cking *sshole." I told him again, "Get out of my face, you keep walking up and I'm taking it as a threat." To that, he responded, "Oh please try something, what are you going to do? I will f*ck you up. What are you going to do?" After that a customer walked in, bumped into me and cussed at me, he was cussing at me, and there were multiple customers watching. None of the staff made any attempt to retrieve him, as he kept getting in my face taunting me to "do something." As an autistic person, getting in my face making threats isn't going to make me ball up and cry, I'm going to defend myself, and if I had been a different, younger person instead of a senior citizen, on a veteran disability, I would have laid him out flat. He took was was once a great office with helpful people and turned it into a place I will never visit again. The sheer audacity of talking to a customer that way and inciting anger instead of being helpful is unacceptable. Then to taunt me to "do something" and that he would "f*ck me up"?? He should not have a job after that, it is less than unacceptable. I called into the DMV to file a complaint, Amanda was great and very helpful, but then I got some woman named Veronica(?) who is allegedly a manager, and all she was argumentative and immediately jumped on the defensive. She started to tell me that office doesn't do registrations, and I told her, "I already heard from him that he doesn't do registrations, I don't need to be put through this again." She said, "Well sir, that office can't help you with registrations." That's the point that I hung up, I don't need this crap from a service bureau I am forced to deal with. I will post this complaint far and wide until someone is held accountable for horrible customer service. One Star is about four stars too man for this office, based on my experience today. Customer service doesn't exist anymore, all you get are people with a chip on their shoulder trying to prove the customer wrong. I am so disgusted with the DMV! They are hands down the most corrupt, uneducated, useless pieces of flesh. Registering your vehicle every year is a bunch of crap! They classify all trucks as commercial which is absolutely wrong! A commercial vehicle is over 10,000 LBs and/or used for a business, or to transport people for money. I have my CDL and I drive commercial trucks...big rigs. I took the test at dmv and one of the questions were what is a commercial vehicle. DMV told me all trucks are commercial. My truck weighs less than 6,000 lbs, has a cover on the bed, 4 dr and not used for anything but personal use. I got charged $154 for a weight fee!!! WHAT THE HELL FOR! They also are charging all kinds of fees like for programs I'm not even involved with, fees for electric, hybrid etc cars which I don't have, fee for san Joaquin valley in a clean air program , fee for ABN which is Austrailian business number!!! Wtf!! It's an 11 digit number that is associated with a business that can be identified by Australian government!!! Registering your vehicle isn't to connect you to your vehicle, it's a portal to funnel billions of dollars !!!! This is the biggest bullshit and I'm so mad! I wrote trump and will continue to post all over social media until these people get investigated! My registration was $500! Screw that! Who even says they can charge these made up fees?
