Having a AAA membership is a must have! Over the years I have used their services multiple times. Their roadside service is dependable and a comfort to know you make one call and service shows up wherever you are. Dead batteries, locked keys in the car, and many tows. I've had to have cars towed several times. Once from the side of the busy 163 freeway. Once from Monrovia to the local Acura dealer. We also use their DMV services, which is so convenient. Big thumbs up for this service! We have used their travel agents too. I prefer using their travel agent in the Murrieta location, who doesn't have an attitude. Okay, I walk in to the office to see an insurance adjuster. I'm not complaining about the officer service or even the service provided when you get in an accident. That's always excellent. I had two cars on my policy and now my wife can no longer drive because of her dementia so I need to take one car off my policy leaving me with just one car. First they thank me for my 27 years as a loyal customer. In those 27 years I have had no tickets and no accidents. Then they tell me my insurance policy for one car will cost me an additional $180 more because I no longer have the extra car reward. read more

I recently opened an Auto Insurance policy in which they did not tell me the full terms of the policy and only after asking if I can upgrade it did they let me know what I actually signed up for. I totally appreciate being able to do auto renewals for registration at your location. Every time I come in, you always ask me if I would want to add somebody at no cost to my membership. I just called to add somebody onto my membership. My daughter is now 21. They then told me it was only free for the first year. I have come in for years and you guys keep telling me that I could add somebody on for free. You never explain there would be a fee after the year is over. We booked a Mediterranean cruise and hotels pre and post cruise. The Agent we booked with was no longer working there and we unfortunately had to work with Shannon Otay which was a nightmare. She was very condescending and couldn't care less about our trip, was horrible at returning phone calls and left us stranded when we got off the ship. I did speak with a supervisor when we came back to let her know all the problems we encountered. I will never use AAA travel. I recently had a bad experience with AAA Roadside Service and since my Membership renewal was coming due and I feel this year I did not get the proper service I've gotten for 41 years from AAA I called and hoped to talk to someone and get some compensation for the Poor Service we had received. After a long hold my call was returned by Javier who listened and transferred me to Roadside service ( Not sure why), then transferred to Manhattan Beach with George who was unable to help me with anything and he told me to call Roadside service and ask for a Manager. So, I called Roadside service and was put on marathon ignore and eventually I disconnected with the realization that AAA has dropped to a place where there is no one to speak to if and when you had an issue and wanted someone to listen to the fact that the $ 193 you paid for Premier Service last year left my son on the side of the road - simply - no service - and cost me extra $$ to another entity. This is unacceptable and unfortunately this is my way of saying What the heck? For some reason, I got spammed one morning with a bunch of e-mails from agents asking me to sign up again. I asked all of them to stop e-mailing me and all of them listened, except for Vincent. He e-mailed me back saying, "So do you want to get the policy started so you don't get bombarded with calls and emails?". Vincent isn't so bright if he thinks that, "stop e-mailing me", means, "e-mail me some more and I'll give you my money". Gross behavior and and disrespectful of a customer's wishes. I went to go pay registration today. It was kind of alot of people and the line was long. When I got to the counter I think her name was "Catherine" I went to pay for my registration on my debit card and Catherine told me the DMV does not take debit cards. I was like what? I saw on the internet they do. So I went next door to the bank and they took out of my debit card $367. I want back to Catherine told her here is the exact amount $367. She gave me my tags and registration and I went on my way. At around 5:30 I get a call from AAA. It was Catherine . She said there was a short on the amount I paid around three hundred and thirty something. I was like wait. I paid you $367 even mentioned that to you when I paid. And this call is very strange. She said I will call you back. I said no this is a really strange phone call. Number ended in 5972. She said ok dont worrie I will take care of this. We hung up. Now I cant go on with my day without thinking this is a scam. In case this is a scam I am writing this review. read more

In November 2024 we traded-in a vehicle and purchased a newer used vehicle through a dealership. We notified AAA of the change, they issued a 30 day binder for the newer vehicle. The 30 days expired. Despite numerous calls and office visits during that 30 days, the old (traded-in) vehicle remained on our policy, while the newer vehicle was never added. We changed insurance companies, to be sure the newer vehicle was insured. When we requested a "Letter of Experience" from AAA, for a hit and run accident, they failed to provide said letter, despite promises to have the letter to us within 7-14 days. We are now at risk of being cancelled because AAA has failed to provide said support. My advice, do not place your policy with AAA in this area. No one takes ownership and follows through to help their clients. read more

I can see why AAA Temecula rating is so low. I was extremely disappointed after having a AAA card for years, I made my way into the Temecula office to receive help on travel. What I found out is that I received no help at all. Shannon, although nice enough (I had to work for it of course) - didn't put out the effort that I would expect. You could tell she has "checked out" and wasn't interested in helping me. Her message about travel was inaccurate and I realized that I was better off on my own. I think what AAA Temecula might want to think about it a complete overhaul. I won't be back. I also canceled my car insurance a year ago because no one would answer the phones. But now one cannot call the office and get a human to pick up the phone to ask a simple question as they have "employed" a virtual assistant that keeps offering unhelpful direction. If you don't believe me then try it out. Over the years their fees have increased significantly and service has decreased. I signed up for Triple AAA - Automobile Club of Southern California Roadside Assistance. My mother's car battery was dead and I was not able to start her car, so I called Triple AAA - Roadside Assistance and spoke to the operator Kendra she was very understanding in dispatching a car technician to be sent out to mother's house. Derrick arrived with in a (thirty minutes) time frame and he brought a Triple AAA car battery with him. The first process that Derrick performed was testing the old car battery to make sure it was really dead. Derrick used a battery tester and did his diagnosis using car codes to determine what level my mom's car battery had been functioning at. Derrick made his decision to replace my mother's old battery with the new Triple AAA battery. The Triple AAA car battery has a 3 year warranty on it. I paid Derrick a reasonable price for the Triple AAA car battery and I was given an invoice for my records. Triple AAA Roadside Assistance is a great service and I am very satisfied with their excellent customer service. I highly recommend it. read more

Ever since COVID, their customer service is nonexistent! Was just there to get some travel info for a quick day trip. The bouncer at the door played 21 questions to find out why we were there. He goes into the office and comes out with a couple of maps and hands them to us. I said "What's this?!? We can't go inside to talk to someone?!? The bouncer's response was we did not specifically say we wanted to talk to someone. WHAT?!?! What's the purpose of going to the office if you don't want to speak to someone in person?!? HELLO!!!!! I would give them negative stars, if I could. So it's one extremely generous star, which they don't deserve! I have been a AAA member for 40 years and now am considering canceling my membership. First of all, Linda K. was the first team member I met and and she assured me she knew what my needs were. She was personable, professional , and knowledge of the services I sought. Heather, called me back and she took care of my transfer to a family member, and possess my previous disabled license plate. Unfortunatel, I had to return shortly to finish up and Maki gave me more informational brochures of even more services AAA provide in Northern California where I am joined. I get more bang for my buck with this membership. The service is always good. It makes me feel better that if my wife has a flat, locks herself out of the car, dead battery or needs a tow AAA is right there within minutes 24/7. They also have DMV services for your car registration....in n out no long lines. When I moved back to California from Texas I had to change all my cars and bikes over....easy peasy at AAA. The travel department is awesome. I've booked cruises through them and they make it so easy with no surprises. They are very easy to work with and it all comes with the membership. They also offer many other services including car and home insurance. I've been a member 30 plus years and that is a membership that I will not let expire! read more

The Temecula location is on Ynez after Overland and on the opposite side of the street from Costco. They offer many convenient services like renewing your registration without going to the DMV and receiving your stickers at the same time. They also have a good travel service for trips and can get you road maps and places of interest for your journeys. We have been members for over 20 years. Well worth looking into. read more

I came into this office to get my new car insured, my old car removed, and my policy changed. Well... I waited a little while, around 10 minutes. Other people were called before me and another minority I was speaking with. I sat down, and the lady was very nice at first until I explained the situation. I was buying a car off of Carvana and it was going to be delivered this Sunday. I told her that I would need to show proof of insurance for the car when they deliver so they can hand over the keys... I told her that the car was already purchased, all of the documents have already been signed (I brought all the documentation with me), and that I was going to be signing the title and the registration paperwork once the car was delivered. All I needed was proof of insurance. I never had an issue with this before, I showed them the paperwork, that the car was owned by my credit union, and that I was the registered owner, and that I have the VIN. This is normally all that you need to insure the vehicle. She said that "I need to have the vehicle in my possession before they can give me proof of insurance." She was also being very rude to the Carvana company saying, "they need to get with the times..." I asked her if she ever bought a car online and had it delivered and she said, "I've seen this all the time, but car needs to be in your possession before I can give you proof." I finally asked if she would be willing to speak with a representative from Carvana, but she refused and then gave me a card with the number and hours for Policy Changes. The car was being dropped off by Carvana on Sunday... and the card literally says this: "Policy Changes (M-F 8am-7pm: Sat 10am-2pm) 1-800-924-6141 and 24 hr Claims Reporting 1-800-672-5246." She told me to call this number once the car gets dropped off so I can obtain my proof of insurance. I questioned the card and asked... I believe they are closed on Sunday, there's no hours. And she kept pushing me out of her office telling me, "just call the number on Sunday and they will help you, I can't help you." Honestly, I thought she was racist and didn't want to work with me. I literally called the phone number as I was walking out of AAA Temecula, and was greeted politely by their representative, and they handled everything with me while I was in my car... I wish I knew I could have just called them. They even emailed me my proof of insurance, so now I can provide the Carvana driver with the car coverage. I asked the lady over the phone if they were open on Sundays, and they said, "we are only open on Saturday from 10-2, and only open for roadside assistance the rest of the day. My department is never open on Sundays..." I am so glad I called the number that day to get my new policy. I would not have been able to get my car from the Carvana driver without it. I usually try to do these things in person, but that AAA branch is very "behind the times" and clearly don't know what they are doing. read more

I am really disappointed with the service I got. I called the AAA when my car would not start I thought I need a battery I called for service at my house in the garage 45 minutes later the guy should up and started the car and it start but he says yes I needed a new battery so he replace with a new battery I paid for it. Then my son came to my house and asked me what I am doing I told him what had happened, my son told me that he just changed the battery on my car that it is new. The next day I went to work my car died on the way completely no lights nothing so this is at 10pm, I am the side of the road at 76 west exit 3minutes from the 15 freeway. I called the AAA for towing service at 10pm, will they came and pick me up at 2am, I just cant believed it that for the big company this is the service I got. Also nothing wrong with the battery it was the alternator. So I paid for a new battery that I dont need plus it was not a bad battery. read more

I went to AAA for an international service needed. I was called in by a Shannon who would be handling my service. What was so incredibly interesting, not once did Shannon ever give me any eye contact, during Shannon asking questions she would give me any eye contact. I found her to be extremely rude and very disingenuous. in giving customer service. Not once did Shannon ever look at me through out the whole time I was there in her presence. As a loyal customer and huge on customer service Shannon has hit top on my list in giving the worst service I have ever experience. Shannon must really hate her job. Very horrible at her job!
