Though his company is booked fairly tight for a couple months for large installs; they fit in smaller jobs as they are able. Bruce and his team came out a couple days later to do the job. The team arrived wearing masks, which my wife and I appreciated. They wasted *no* time. They properly patched the subfloor, which was probably the pain in the ass part of the whole thing because they had to access it via a muddy crawlspace. The finished results look great. I can't even tell where the hole from the old heat duct was. Luckily, I had recently had all of the flooring done and the finish was an easy match- again- the work was impeccable and the crew had the job done in about 2 hours. After the "painter" I hired decided to disappear(with a "deposit" I paid him,) I frantically…read moresearched for someone to complete stripping and painting a bedroom. The wallpaper was ancient, applied with what appeared to be "gorilla glue" directly onto the drywall. The walls were in horrible condition(perhaps this contributed to the former painter's decision to just not come back lol!) I discovered SC Painting and contacted Sam who IMMEDIATELY returned my call. He came to my home, assessed the situation & provided me a quote. The price for completing the project was, in my opinion, very reasonable considering the state of the walls and the amount of work. We decided on a day for him to begin and, guess what? He communicated with me and actually SHOWED UP at the appointed time. Sam removed the remaining wallpaper, patched, primed, painted and sealed my walls. He was very meticulous, paying attention to every flaw. I was amazed and very pleased with the outcome.
