It wasn't until I had my entire first floor gutted and explained to the contractor I would be using my electrician did I realize how exceptional Jeff's work is. I am sure at the time my contractor felt he would be more comfortable with "his" electrical contractor. Brad Hackett who has been a contractor for 20 plus years said he has never seen such exceptional work as Jeff's. Interesting, I didn't know there could be that much difference, I was just lucky. Because all the wiring was exposed I could see the perfection. It isn't just the wiring it is Jeff's attitude and willingness to adapt to find ways to make the client happy. Cathie

I'd give the Grasser Electric Team more than a Five Star rating if it were available…read more An excellent experience from start to finish. Upon calling Grasser I was greeted by a personable, pleasant, professional, and efficient young lady, Kate. She patiently and carefully listened to my purpose for calling, assessed the best option, and quickly took action scheduling a Service call to arrive at my home within 30 minutes of me calling. I immediately received a text informing me of who / identifying the Service Technician that would be responding to my call and when he would arrive. The Service technician Mr. Lewis arrived on time, well briefed on my electrical concerns / requests, and ready to go to work providing an immediate near term solution and follow on long term options. While on the service call, Mr. Lewis went above and beyond to personally and professionally address our questions and concerns to ensure we were comfortable with our current situation and fully understood our options going forward. He quickly jumped in and took care of our immediate needs / concerns following up with accurate estimates for all of our options in obtaining a permanent solution. Mr. Lewis, as with Kate, was personable, professional, knowledgeable, competent, and quick to act. Grasser Electric is well represented by both Billy Lewis and Kate. I came away from the experience with a feeling of family, a group of professionals, a true Team that loves their work and has a customer first approach. I recommend Grasser Electric for all of your electrical needs. Give them a call.

As usual, I contacted numerous companies for bids. I reached out to a couple of the big name companies, and one guy who lives in my neighborhood. All of which quoted me over 10k. I would later find out that these companies were trying to sell me a higher seer rating, and more tonnage than my small home would ever need. Mr Patrico was upfront and honest about all this, and came in under half the cost of the next lowest bid. When he showed up to do the work, he was efficient and cleaned up everything when he was done. Super nice, personable guy who will shoot you straight. I most definitely recommend giving him a shout for any HVAC needs.

Thomas came to our house to look at 2 air conditioning units that weren't working. He said that…read moreboth units were out of Freon. The newer unit was frozen over so he said he couldn't figure out what was wrong with it until the ice melted and the other was old and should be replaced. He became frustrated with me when I had trouble understanding what was causing the unit to freeze over if there was no Freon. He appeared arrogant and I was ready to send him home at that point, but my wife was mainly dealing with him and it was a hot day. When I complained to my wife about him she said that maybe I shouldn't have bothered him while he was working and that he was very nice to her. After examining the units he spent a while discussing our options which included a new air conditioning to replace the older one or adding 5 pounds of AR-22 freon for $1100. He wanted to charge $7,500 for the new unit which seemed reasonable, but he couldn't do it until next week and, after a quick Google search, I told him $1100 was high for adding freon. Then he once again appeared upset and asked me what I was talking about. When I explained that I quickly looked it up and knew that It usually costs maybe $500-$750 he conceded that I could find it cheaper elsewhere. Then he told us it was $125 dollars for the visit. I told him that he can't charge me for the visit because nobody notified us that there would be any charge. He said that he doesn't work for free. But I told him that without prior notification of a service charge, I didn't believe it was legal for him to charge me considering he didn't do any diagnostic testing or any repair work. He just looked around and told me something any technician could have discovered in a few minutes. He then while standing in our kitchen played the whole recording of the conversation my wife had with the dispatcher to learn that we were right and we were never notified that there would be any charge. Two days later we had Meyer Heating and Air do a same day installation for the same $7500 and they added freon to the other unit for free when the $333 leak detection didn't reveal any leaks. Plus the reps at Meyer were very pleasant to work with so I gave Meyer a 5 star review and Design a 1 star review.
