My husband and I are so happy we chose DJUSA for our wedding! The team we worked with, including Rohit and DJ Juicy, were personable and professional from the the very beginning to the very end. They made us feel so comfortable and made sure the music at our wedding was going to be exactly what we wanted it to be. We selected DJ Juicy because of the upbeat but chill vibe he gave off from the very start. Upon our first meeting with him at their location in Staton Island, we really appreciated how easy it was to talk to him. It was because of this that we had him MC our wedding too. Music was one of the most important things to us and he definitely delivered. Not only did he play many of the songs we requested but he also went with the vibe and music genre we were going for. Where do I begin? DJUSA is one of the most professional and talented companies/vendors I've worked with. We had booked them initially in 2019 for our engagement and had a death in the family the night before - Sharad and the team were SO accommodating and moved our deposit toward our wedding since we had canceled our party. They made my wedding complete and recommended Marco, who we will forever remember - he seriously made the party! DJ Avi was the sweetest and played hit after hit. I'm so grateful to have had them as our DJ. The owner Sharad is one of the nicest and most humble people I've met, and he also provided insight on how to have the best night in terms of music, flow, and additional touches like Dohl and uplighting. Rohan was one of the sweetest coordinators, and Max, the president, was incredible to work with and attended our walk-through to ensure everything was perfect. It's almost been a year since our wedding, and I still feel excited when speaking about them and reflecting on how fun our wedding was. We had an Indian/Pakistani/Arabic wedding and they helped us balance the music perfectly while playing American party hype songs. The dance floor was LIT the entire night. We had DJ KKV and MC Jay Verma for our Sangeet. Simply put: they smashed it! They were both professional and kept the dance floor jam packed through and through. We had to get DJ Juicy and MC Marco for our Reception, both of them killed it! I didn't expect anything less. Thank you! We had gotten a photo booth from DJUSA which our family members and guests were eagerly waiting to use and this was our gift favors for the guests. No one properly announced the location of the photo booth and hence not a lot of pics were taken. It cost a fortune to have that at out party and even more to have people leave thinking they didn't get any party favors. Wish this was rectified on your guys behalf but it is what it is. read more

We got to work with Avi as our main contact and he was amazing from start to finish. We had a multi-cultural wedding, as I'm Guyanese-American and my now-husband is Italian-American, so the music was really important to us. We stressed that to Avi who reassured us that he had an MC + DJ that would be amazing. Every time we had a question (from speeches to length of first song), Avi responded in 24 hours. When we decided we wanted to add on a photobooth, Avi sent over an updated contact immediately. We also requested a special set-up so that my husband's sister, father and step-father could play a couple's dance song live and they were very accommodating. Everything was seamless and I cannot thank DJUSA and Avi enough!! For the day of the wedding, we ended up with MC Marco and DJ Uzi and they were fantastic. Our dance floor was constantly packed throughout the wedding and they kept everything moving smoothly from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. I paid a high price thinking I would get top notch service and an amazing party. I was overcharged for a dhol player for just a 15 minute performance. For 15 minutes of work I expected consistent and thorough drumming. There should be no pauses and no lapses that would slow the baraath down. I gave my coordinator lists of suggested songs and even provided absolute musts, A few songs that I feel would definitely need to be played. They missed the mark on this simple task. Nothing I suggested they played and they didn't even play good top 40 that everyone would enjoy. It was really lame to hear them use songs that you would hear at a sweet sixteen party not a wedding. So I remember my coordinator being arrogant enough stating "your paying a high cost because we are the best, and I guarantee you will be thanking me after everything is over." OK well why didn't you throw in some of my requests or sequence the songs for cocktail hour, dinner and open floor the way we asked? It's not like I am paying you or that I am the client or anything. If they were unsure of what to play, 150 song suggestions were sent to them a month in advance. Now when you are not even playing good songs and doing what you please...don't under any circumstances... REPEAT SONGS!!!! That is an absolute No No. They should have returned 1 grand back to me for each time they did this. It truly shows a lack of preparation and professionalism. The DJ should know what to play at what time and when they have suggestions, know the appropriate time to play them. This is part of their job. Spend 2 hrs on each client and arrange the playlist accordingly. It's not rocket science but put some effort into it. Repeat songs in a 2 hour span shows how much of a disaster this company is. Even the Bollywood songs, such obscure songs that no one knows, they did have some good ones I will give them that but Do not trust them with anything. These guys couldn't even handle simple announcements, it's unbelievable how everything with this company is bad news. We had produced a schedule and this was all made clear before hand and even one run thru was too much to handle. I went to another wedding recently that used DJ USA and I haven't seen a 500 person wedding die down so briskly. They couldn't keep a party hyped up and going, the night got stale because they couldn't keep the crowd on the floor. These guys are overpriced and arrogant. I wouldn't spend their initial asking price, I would go to another company. I regret using them and wouldn't pay half their asking price if I had a second chance. They are awful. read more

What matters most at a party/wedding is the music. The DJ controls the whole mood/vibe of everything. DJUSA is perfection. This company is only getting bigger and better. They are truly the best!! Whenever there is a wedding in my family or extended family DJUSA has covered it and made it spectacular. There is a handful of DJ's and MC's to choose from and they are all amazing/talented. So I have no clue what the other user (Z B) is talking about. It sucks that she or he had a terrible experience but i definitely don't agree. Yes, they're expensive but they're also really good. They've done all my family parties and they are nothing short of helpful. The most recent event was my sisters sweet 16. My family does everything last minute and these guys worked with us up until the end (huge thank you to Manu Matthew who kept on top of things). Even with last minute itinerary changes, the MC (Gino) and the DJ (Rohit) didn't complain. They worked with us and made every change we asked for. When my sister accidentally skipped a candle, apparently the mc told her about it (I didn't even notice this happening...that's how smoothly they handled it). Ugh these guys are sooo sweet. They sure do know how to throw a party. These DJs are REAL DJs and aren't just "wedding DJs". They bring the party atmosphere and get everyone on the dance floor. We saw this group at one of our friend's indian weddings of 500 people and I swear all 500 of them were on the dance floor. Our wedding was significantly smaller but everyone was dancing. After the wedding, people said "best wedding ever! the music was on point!" I have to give credit to my wife for picking out the songs but the DJ stuck to the genre of music we were looking for and did an amazing job with the party. There were a couple of things the DJ messed up on in terms of the entrance song and father/daughter dance which he fixed after being told. They were very apologetic about this after the fact and made it right which shows their professionalism and responsiveness. Overall, I don't think i would have changed vendors considering the party/wedding they threw which at the end of the day was what we hired them for. None of our guests noticed the issue anyways. read more
