There is also a selection of pantry items and homemade Xmas puds in December. Plenty of seating both indoor and out, as well as clean bathrooms which you come to appreciate when you are on country trips. Prices are reasonable given the quality of the food. The only thing holding this bakery back is the staff. I have been here at least 10 times and am yet to receive a smile, a hello or a goodbye. Suffice to say, take away is my recommendation.

We went quarters and loved it so much we tried to buy another but it was sold out. We liked the look of the menu and made a plan to eat here eat some point. Service was very friendly and most efficient. This is a lovely innovative sort of place. The type of place that tends to prove that free markets work by giving people what they want. Cafe La Hoot wouldn't be at all out of place in hipsterville Melbourne and we'll definitely return here very soon.
