After searching around, I was able to find SKG they came recommended to me by a friend after a couple of headache attempts elsewhere. Steven was the technician that came out but we found out in the process that he and his wife are also the owners. It was a surprise as a lot of times you expect these folks try to upcharge, to not take the time to explain the issue/resolution and to rush the job but it was the opposite with Steven/SKG. He came out, he efficiently found the issue, offered a simple explanation, then educated advice, was conscious of our budget and helped us to make the best financially savvy decision **while also making sure we had quality equipment**. Score! I was surprised at how quickly he was able to get out to our house with a same day appointment, it just worked out perfectly for us both based on our locations. He very clearly identified and showed us the problems with our dishwasher and washing machine, offered the solutions and allowed us to make a decision. The best part is that we were offered 30 days to make the decision &/or to properly budget for the corrections. I haven't ever had that with a company before; they always say same day or three days to decide. I am relieved to have had such a great experience and am even more pleased to have working appliances again. Thanks, SKG! **they came highly recommended to me and I would highly recommend as well! Don't hesitate, just call SKG for your appliance needs- I'm certain that they'll take good care of you.

Now he wants to be paid for a job not finished. Feeling sorry for him with putting in so much time and driving, I gave him $200 for his costs/time and I was ready to pay in full once the fridge was repaired. I had used Steven before and all was good, not technical - replaced the gaskets on the fridge. Now he has filed a lien on the property. It will be a 'cold day in hell' before he gets a dime more. I should take him to small claims for my $200. Like his ad says 100% satisfaction guarantee or your money back!!! I definitely will file a complaint to Consumer Affairs

After reaching out on Yelp I received several reply's from various washer repair businesses. After reading reviews and pricing I choose to call Reset Appliance. From the first call, I received star treatment regarding my situation which made the planning and repair seamless. Rick and one of the techs showed up, did the diagnosis and quote. The main replacement part only took 2 days. Keep in mind if you're searching for parts on your own, there are many cheap prices but looking at the fine print these cheaper parts are refurbished NOT new. Rick ordered the part brand new and his associate showed up on Saturday and replaced the part and just like that I'm not spending 38$ at the laundromat!!! Relieved. Punctual, knowledgeable and friendly service is what you pay for and it's worth it. Highly recommended if you want quick service with no stress or price gouging. Thank you Rick and your associate for a great experience. Chuck
