**Disappointing Experience -- Would Not Recommend**
I hired DJP Lawn Care on August 1, 2026, for mulching, edging, and weed removal. I paid upfront because we had previously used this company for lawn mowing and trusted that the agreed-upon work would be completed as discussed.
Unfortunately, the work did not meet our expectations. After the job was finished, we noticed that the weeds had not actually been removed. They appeared to have been weed-whacked and sprayed, then covered with mulch. We also paid for edging, but no edging was completed\. When we asked about it, we were told it was because we had a sprinkler system that was not working.
We contacted him two days later after noticing weeds already coming through the mulch. We were told to give it a week, which we did. Unfortunately, the weeds continued to come back and became increasingly noticeable.
For what we paid--over $1,000--the end result was essentially mulch being laid over existing weeds. In my opinion, that is not what we agreed to pay for, and I do not feel the work was completed as promised\.
When we sent pictures showing the ongoing issue and attempted to address our concerns, we were told there would be no refund because the work was considered finished, and we were subsequently blocked from contacting him.
I am very disappointed with the experience. I believe customers should receive the services they paid for and have the opportunity to discuss concerns when the work does not meet the agreed\-upon expectations.Based on our experience, I would not recommend DJP Lawn Care and would encourage anyone considering their services to make sure everything being promised is clearly documented before paying upfront. read more
