I have been in and been a guest to a lot of weddings and I can say Kris and his crew are the very best!! I am coming down off my own wedding weekend high and we hired Kris for our big day and I have nothing but awesome things to say! I have known Kris for a long time and can I say I knew he was a great guy but hadn't worked with him in this capacity until my wedding planning and I can say these things are true: - He is the utmost professional. In our first meeting he blew us away! He is so knowledgable, a true expert, and will put you at ease with your planning -He is easy to work with and makes every step of the way a breeze. He really listens and takes note of every detail. - On the day of, his MCing is top notch! Wow! He is so good. - I love all the special ideas he has (I won't spoil them here as I loved learning about them during our meeting). But he really makes your reception memorable! Kris and his team are really the best! If you want someone to do it all (MC, DJ, Music Master, Party starter, plus the photobooth, and lighting) you should look no further!!! So happy we booked DJ FX and team! read more

I've known Kris since he was the DJ at my wedding in 2008. He brought a great energy and vibe to our reception while always maintaining a professional demeanor. To this day, friends and family still talk about how fun the reception was. Since our wedding, a number of our family and friends hired him for their events and weddings. Not only does he have amazing lights and great sense of how to control the energy of an event and an infinite playlist, he also has the best MC skills that I've seen at a wedding. To me, that was the most important element because I've been at too many weddings with a lackluster DJ who tells lame jokes or plays irrelevant music and clears out the dance floor. DJFX doesn't do that. He owns the night and gives you and your guests something to talk about for years to come! Anytime I hear of someone planning an event or needing a party bus, Kris is my first and only recommendation. I can't recommend his services enough. If you want your place to look awesome, and you want your event that be memorable and fun, go with DJFX! read more

Kris and his crew by far is the best DJ, lighting, and photo booth service around!!!!! They are professional and fun and know exactly what type of music to play. They arrive with ample time to set up and I didn't have to worry about a thing with them. The music at the ceremony was on point, the reception was a blast and everyone talked about how much they loved the DJ! He has this awesome way of getting everyone out on the dance floor without doing anything cheesy. He excuted the entire event flawlessly and I recommend him for any wedding, party, or special event you might have! thank you Kris and team for making our wedding so memorable!!!!!! read more

I have been to multiple weddings that DJFX (Kris) has DJ'd. It is safe to say, that those were some of the most fun weddings I have been to. He keeps the energy and celebration going from the moment the reception begins and is a true professional. He is DJing our wedding in 2 weeks and I cannot wait! For all the meetings we have had, he is so prepared and knowledgeable, even giving us helpful tips for things that aren't even in his department. He is also doing our Photo booth and personalizing our guest book for us. So excited! Very highly recommended. read more

Kris has been in the entertainment business for many years and I have worked with him regularly throughout the years. When I know that Kris and DJFX are on the vendor team I know that the event will be a great success. If you have and indecision about using Kris for any of his services please put those worries aside. You could not be in better hands. I have been a wedding photographer for the past 8 years and I had the pleasure of working with Kris and his team at a wedding last weekend. I've worked with many DJ's in the past and I must say, Kris was the best I have dealt with. He was very mindful of my needs as a photographer, making sure he wasn't getting in my way, informing me of all upcoming photo ops, etc. He also was excellent with the reception and made sure everyone was having a good time, and had a very upbeat attitude without being corny or over-the-top. I highly recommend using Kris and his company for any future wedding or other formal gathering and I hope to work with him again in the future. read more

There isn't anyone better! I have been doing weddings for a long time and I get such better photos when Kris is there than not. I have recommended Kris to all my friends and family when they need the best DJ on the planet. Everyone dances, everyone has a great time and Kris makes sure that the bride and groom are front and center. His light setups and absolute attention to detail make him the best wedding DJ, really just DJ, period. If you want the best don't waste your time looking for others Kris and DJFX is the one! read more

We had known DJFX for several years before asking him to do our wedding and we literally got the experience of a lifetime. So many of the guests told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to...and we are still get comments like that over a year later! From the technical side, the lighting and sound were flawless; his professionalism and awareness of the event as a whole is a testament to his experience and maturity in the business. Wedding planners are great for planning, but on the day of the event.. there are a lot of moving parts to a wedding, and a good DJ is adept at keeping his finger on the pulse of everything that is transpiring. Perhaps most important of all, his energy and charisma are what truly turn the event into a party -- this is evident and invaluable when things are going right or when things inevitably go wrong. If there is a lull in the crowd or someone can't find the bride's father for a speech, DJFX knows when to step in and keep things moving seemlessly, injecting life back into the party when needed. And folks, having known DJFX previously, I must say his energy and vibrant personality is not a show! He was born to be an entertainer. Your wedding is a day that you want to remember as one of the best an most memorable days in your lifetime. Do not go discount on something like this -- cut your costs on the flowers or something. A professional like DJFX will ensure that your wedding production is one that brings your dreams to life and creates those memories that make you smile anytime you look back. There is a reason DJFX gets so much business, its because every event he does literally wows people. Also, I must say that the photo booth was a big hit! What a great way to have a visual record of all your guests having such a good time. Highly recommended! read more

Kris was amaaaaazing! Really knows how to pump a crowd and is so personable - would absolutely refer him to anyone!! We did the full package and it was well worth the money - they did an amazing job! read more

DJFX and the team did my daughters wedding. Not only were they professional, they were on time and very accomadating to our needs. Met with Kris 2 times and also communtated with him via email. The lighting and all of the choices he offered is what made the wedding great. The best part of all tho was what a truly warm, friendly atmosphere he created. read more

If you are looking for a DJ that has EVERYTHING...than look no further. I have personally used DJFX for over a dozen events going back to 2000. When I was in college, I used him for all my parties, then a few years later, I used him for a large 300 person New Years party. Around the same time I used DJFX for my Sisters Wedding and also my Cousins Wedding. He has it all. I would not use any other DJ around. His equipment by far surpasses the competition. Listen Folks, you get what you pay for...if you want a back yard DJ with limited music, equipment and energy, go waste your money. With DJFX, he created the party, he gets the crowd going, and where other hired help fails, he will help turn that event around. You wont regret using this DJ. I would highly recommend, and would use no one else. read more

Did my wedding! Lighting was incredible and the DJ was off the hook!! He really got the crowd going and made my day even more memorable. Thanks! read more

Kris was so awesome from the beginning stages off planning until the very end of the party. He kept everyone dancing all night long. His entire production, ceremony to reception, from lights to his personal touches all made the evening magical. I heard he was the best from a friend's wedding and after having Kris do our wedding, I can hands down agree that he is the best you're going get. He made sure during the planning stages to listen attentively and give input from his own experiences to make sure the night was as personal as it could be. If you're looking for a memorable party, you can guarantee that Kris is going to bring it! read more

Kris and his team were the DJ's at my wedding and they did an unbelievable job. The music was fantastic and he knew how to make it a great party. Years later, I still get compliments on how fun my wedding was and I attribute that in large part to Kris! My wedding also had some unique aspects to it, which Kris did a great job of handling. First of all, I'm a musician and wanted to serenade my wife during the ceremony. Kris said it was no problem and brought the appropriate sound equipment. Second, my wife and I are Jewish and it was a Jewish wedding. Kris set up a great hora and was able to keep it going for a long time! Finally, Kris also provided great lighting options! In summation, Kris is dedicated to his profession and one of the best wedding DJ's I've seen. He makes your special day more special and makes sure you to minimize your worries. I HIGHLY recommend him and thank him for the excellent job he did at my wedding. read more

WE LOVED DJFX!!! Kris did an AMAZING job from first contact when we were choosing our DJ to the very end of our event. He went above and beyond and we couldn't be more grateful! As an MC: Kris did a great job keeping everyone engaged, eliminating those awkward empty space moments that so many weddings had. He kept right on with the timeline that he actually helped us by writing most of, and kept us updated as to things that would be coming up soon. He rolled with it when our guests were beyond slow to start dancing the anniversary dance and made everything seamless. As a DJ: Kris played all the songs we had requested at the exact right time!! He even made sure to download the EXACT version of here comes the bride that I wanted :) He didn't play any songs that were "difficult to dance to", everything he played was a lot of fun. He did a great job of mixing my husband and my loves of country and modern love/dance songs. His lighting: Kris added that extra special effect to the entire reception room and the gardens outside. It was amazing to have the gardens well lit (Kris' suggestion) because our wedding was HOT and lots of people wanted to go outside to rest between dancing. I really appreciated having the lighting outside to keep the ambiance going and so my guests didn't have to cool off in the dark! And the photobooth: THIS WAS THE HIT OF THE WEDDING!! At the time of booking, I was kind of overwhelmed and he mentioned they did photobooths so I was like ok yea throw it on, one more thing I can check off. I was definitely wondering if I had made a mistake before the wedding but I am so glad I did!! It was a HUGE photo booth so groups of 12+ could fit in. The props were very fun and we received at least one copy of every photo taken. We had so many extra we were able to put them in a lot of our thank you cards! Thank you so much for everything you did, Kris! read more

This review is for both the DJ services and the Photo booth services offered by DJFX Entertainment although, I once road in the party bus that is also offered and .... wow..... so, so cool. We discovered him at not one but two weddings and knew he was the one for us. We hired DJFX Ent. for our wedding on 8/20/16 at Descanso Gardens (for ceremony) and then at the Westin, Pasadena, CA for the reception. I cannot BEGIN to tell you how many people have told us it's the most fun they've ever had at a wedding..... but more on that later... Kris provided all the sound, speakers, mics for our ceremony. It all went off without a hitch. Our Officiant had a wireless mic with stand, my groom had a lapel mic and DJFX even had an easy hook up for videographer so they could sync up (which was also great for the reception speeches)..... little details that we don't think about. He met with us twice; once initially to go over the basics and then closer to the big day to cover the timeline specifics and to discuss what songs were a must and what songs were 'do not play' ;) We also planned out all ceremony songs, all songs for introductions and dances with parents, etc. Kris' experience in the industry was invaluable. He advised on timeline questions, set up questions, and he gave helpful suggestions on the bridal party intros. He also brings a ladder to every wedding and when the bride and groom dance is over, he asks all wedding guests to come to the dance floor for a group photo. Your photog climbs the ladder and captures priceless pics and then DJFX busts into a great dance song and everyone can't help but stay and dance. It's so awesome. He played the best songs and had an absolutely incredible light set up, not just on the dancefloor but throughout the ballroom. Regarding the photo booth, we've all been to so many weddings with so many variations of photo booths.... his is the BEST. The lighting and clarity of the pics is unmatched and you have the luxury to take pics of up to 15 people in one frame, yet, your image of two people will be just as great. If you want an experienced, professional, reliable, accessible DJ (and/or photo booth supplier) that your entire fam and friends will love, DJFX is your man. read more

From the minute we met Kris and his wife we had a good feeling about them. Then we talked more and really had that "yea, they're the one" feeling. That continued the whole way through. Every meeting we had to go over timelines/songs/everything, Kris proved over and over he was the right decision. He made our wedding a flawless production. He MC'd our wedding & reception and killed it! He kept a tight, well organized schedule. Then there was the party. Kris had us on the dance floor the whole night. Not once was there that awkward song change that no one dances too; it was a non stop party. Kris also provided our up lighting and our photo booth! His people even made a cool photo book for us as people took pictures. We were really stunned at all the details he took care of. My wife and I couldn't have picked a better person/company to DJ our wedding! read more

DJFX is the best in the business on all levels including equipment, selection, professionalism, creativity Etc. He had done a friends wedding a few years before I got married and I knew he was my go to when it was my time. Since then he has done nearly ten other friends weddings as well as my old companies Christmas party. I can't recommend him and his employees enough. read more

The DJ played the WRONG once-in-a-lifetime Father/Daughter dance song at my daughter and son-in-law's wedding. It was supposed to be DADDY'S LITTLE GIRL by Michael Bolton. I have no clue what song was played. It was also requested he invite others to join us on the dance floor after two minutes or so, but that never happened either. read more

I had my daughters ceremony and reception at westlake village Inn and Djfx was the musical vendor we choose. Kris did not disappoint!!! His set was flawless and perfectly timed! We all danced the night away! We had a photo booth too which added to the fun of the night! All the guests commented on how well he Mc'd the event!!! I would highly recommend his company for a wedding event ! Tell him I sent you too! read more

DJFX is a high energy one stop shop. The guy does it all. It's nice not having to hire multiple vendors for your event. I just give Kris a call and he takes care of everything. He has all top of the line lighting equipment, DJ equipment, sound systems, photo booths and on top of it a brand new decked out party bus! All at a reasonable price and with a TON of energy and excitement. This guy lives to entertain. Can't say enough good things. You won't be disappointed! read more

My son got married at calamigos ranch and Kris and his team took care of our Dj and photo booth needs not to mention they transformed the place into a complete light show. I was thoroughly impressed by the level off care and detail Kris put into his work and I am using his services again for my own birthday party coming up. I recommend Kris to anyone looking to have a fun up beat and smooth event. read more

I've seen Kris dj several times. From a wedding to a bar mitzvah. Very professional and great music selection.

We hired Kris as our DJ and masters of ceremony for our wedding back in January of 2012. In addition he did our lighting as well. All I can say is that Kris did a fantastic job!! I remember when I was planning my wedding I had spoke with 3 different DJ's besides Kris, and we ended up going with him because he was professional, organized, and knew his music. I've been to at least 12 other weddings in my life, and honestly I can say that my DJ (Kris) was the BEST! Am I being biased? No way! I would definitely hire Kris again in the future if I need a DJ. In fact, I had two wedding guests that ended up hiring Kris for their wedding because they were so impressed by what an awesome job he did with mine. I'm a super picky person, so if you're looking for a professional DJ that knows how to get your party started and going through the night than I would definitely hire Kris. Also, he did an awesome job with the lighting. I would highly recommend DJFX Entertainment! read more

I recently had Kris and his crew DJ at my Wedding a couple of weeks ago and he was AMAZING!! So helpful so insightful he made the process from our first sit down with Kris to when he ended the night so easy. He is very professional and has the real veteran experience that you want in a DJ. Thanks to him he helped us time and organize everything for the wedding. I've been to other weddings and have seen Kris at work from both sides of a wedding and he has made it so fun and memorable. The music was awesome, we had a mixed group of family and friends at our wedding from people in their teens to their 70's and the whole night people where out dancing. His song selections are awesome and kept everyone alive, there was never a dull moment. His equipment I know is top of the line, and music aside he made my wedding beautiful with all of his lighting and FUN photo booth that everyone loved. He was a great guy to us and I would definitely recommend him to anybody interested in a DJ for their wedding or Party. read more

The music and lighting at our wedding were great. We received great feedback about the music and the flow of the night. The reason I gave 3 stars instead of 5 is because it took multiple emails and texts for him to get back to me, but even more frustrating was that the wrong date was printed on our photo booth pictures. I was EXTREMELY disappointed that when I told Kris... all I received was a text that said "so sorry". There was no offer to fix the problem or even attempt to make any resolution. The party was great, but these little things made a big impact. read more

I have used Kris and his crew for a few different occasions and each time was awesome!! He was the DJ for my wedding at Walnut Grove in Moorpark and heard nothing but great compliments from my guests about him. His energy and professionalism was beyond what we could have asked for. The pre-planning for the wedding was done well in advance and he was on top of it. We thought we were prepared when we were meeting with him but he helped us make sure everything was covered and that we were happy with our selections. We also had the photo booth at the wedding which was a huge hit. Our wedding would not have been the same without their service. Attention to detail was on point and we will never forget it. On another occasion we used their service for their Party Bus for my brother's birthday. They showed up right on time we requested. The driver was courteous and helpful. The bus was super clean and had the most amenities that I have ever had on a party bus. They are ahead of the game with their party buses and can't wait to enjoy a night on in one again!! I would recommend Kris and the entire DJFX Entertainment crew for any of there services!! Thank you for making all of our occasions you were involved in so much better! We really appreciate it! read more

DJ FX did our wedding on 4/6. We were so pleased with him from start to finish. We had several meetings where we went over song preferences for general music as well as everything from ceremony music, to cake cutting music, and he took over the rest. He was very professional and a very upbeat guy! He provided great sound during both our ceremony and reception which were on boat and in a club space. We had him do our up lighting, Photobooth, and DJ. Kris killed it all the way around. We loved how the uplighting turned out, the photobooth was a complete him, and DJ Fx was an incredible. DJ and M.C. He had everyone on the dancefloor all night long, it was exactly what we wanted. Everyone is sitll telling us what a great time they had thanks to him! We have several more friends getting married over the next year and they are already asking us for his information after their experience at our wedding! read more

He knows party entertainment like no one else and thinks of things and small touches that you would've never thought of. He just made our day so much fun and so memorable. He deserves 10 stars for his skills and talent. He has a great personality and made it so easy to work with him. I cannot say enough great things about him. Chris was amazing. So professional and can work the crowd and switch things up when needed. My husband and I loved working with him from the initial phone meeting to the hand delivered photo booth pics that were misplaced and he brought personally to our house. DJFX (Kris) was the DJ for my daughter's wedding on August 10, 2013. He is an amazing DJ. I've never seen a DJ get the party going & get people on the dance floor like he does. It was so much fun! Kris had several meetings with us prior to the event. He creates a "timeline" where he plans out the entire event and what time everything is going to happen. He is really a "Master of Ceremonies" as well as the DJ. The lighting was really pretty, looked nicer than what I was expecting. He duplicated our logo and lit it up on the dance floor. Thank you Kris! He also provided the photo booth. Our guest book was pictures from the photo booth with comment cards, of which he provided a copy of the pic for the guest & one for the book. His assistant was at the photo booth the whole evening, taking the pictures & putting together the guestbook. He made sure everyone had a microphone for the vows, speeches, etc. I would highly recommend DJFX. You will not be disappointed! Great job! read more
