The song selection from start to finish was spot on, and he kept the energy perfect for every moment. Okyne's planning portal was also a huge help. It was easy to upload songs for each part of the wedding, highlight must-play tracks, and add playlists we wanted incorporated. DJ Alan executed everything flawlessly, including hitting all of the cues for both of our ceremonies. As a mixed-culture couple, we really wanted a blend of Bollywood and English music. DJ Alan nailed the balance perfectly and read the room so well. The mix kept everyone on the dance floor all night. The only small downside was that we didn't find out who our DJ would be until a few days before, and most communication beforehand was through others at the company. But in the end, everything worked out wonderfully, and we couldn't have been happier with how the night turned out. We would highly recommend Okyne Media Lab and DJ Alan for any wedding, especially if you're looking for a DJ who can seamlessly blend cultures, keep the dance floor full, and deliver an unforgettable night.

He was supposed to arrive two hours ahead of time and he barely made it an hour before. I had also hired him to play a slideshow that my mother spent hours putting together of my husband and I in addition to a black and white movie. We had previously discussed which wall it would go on. I walk into the space and the projector was set up on the wrong wall and it was so close to the wall that we couldn't even see the beautiful slide show that my mother put together clearly. It was heartbreaking. As far as the actual music part, he played good song choices. However, he played them all the way to the end, no dj skills to transition from one song to the other. Honestly, I could have put on Spotify or Pandora and it would have been the same. I had to also tell him when to play the father daughter dance and had to signal him when to stop the song so that we could play the first dance song. All in all it was not a good experience. I'm a big Yelp and review person and I am not quite sure how he got so many good reviews but he definitely dropped the ball at my wedding big time. His services left a lot to be desired from.

Aris, however, stuck EXACTLY to the program, and conducted himself with the utmost professionalism while MC-ing and always had a smile on his face. When we told him to play a slow song every 30 minutes, my husband checked his watch, and Aris clocked in ON THE DOT. Our guests danced the night away.
