I had a chance to work with DJ seven over the weekend and had an amazing experience. From the very first line of communication to the last note performed, he was a consistent professional and superb human being! Highly recommended. read more

DJ Seven was fantastic! He was a total pro and made some great suggestions for our wedding. Our big wedding day goal was to have a raucous dance party and it would not have happened without Sean! He did great with requests and the kids in attendance and took great stock of the room to see what people were feeling. He was also great at rolling with some of our disorganization--we forgot to tell him we were doing a short slideshow between dinner and dancing but he adjusted smoothly. I would not hesitate to recommend DJ Seven for events. He was a total pro. Our wedding was a total blast! I'm so happy Sean was a part of it! read more

Loved having DJ Seven at our anniversary party! He was super professional and communicative before and during the event. Punctual and intuitive. Fun and focused. He knew how to read the crowd and had everyone dancing the entire night. I'd recommend him without hesitation, and would hire him again in a heart beat. read more

Sean was absolutely perfect for my wedding cocktail party, dinner hour, and most importantly late night dance party. He was incredibly easy to work with ahead of time. He sent me tons of great information about what he normally plays at weddings over email and Dropbox. I sent him a bunch of feedback about what I wanted to hear and didn't want to hear over email and Spotify. He showed up right on time and set up great equipment with his crew quickly. Everything was absolutely perfect around announcing the wedding party, starting the first dance, and speeches. Once he got started, kids, parents and friends were dancing all afternoon and night. Sean understood my desire to make it a real dance party at the end of the night. After sundown, my bride and all our friends were dancing non-stop to great dance tracks: house, disco, nu-disco, indie dance all flowed together. After the wedding I heard so many compliments about the music, and it's all thanks to Sean bringing it. I hope we can work together again for another event! read more

sean seven evans has been spinning in the city for several years and is established at several of the cooler clubs (monarch, chambers, otis to name a few). He is a "DJ's DJ" and has trained and coached many of our local DJs. You can sometimes also find him at pop-up (after hours) events playing the latest deep house tracks. Ask him for an obscure new wave b-side and hes got that too! Best news is he will do private events at reasonable rates..he once DJed for me for 8 hrs straight!..if you need a great DJ for a corporate gig or wanna add some edge to your house party look no further.. read more

I've known DJ Seven (aka Sean) for years through mutual connections and was glad to finally be able to book him for a gig at a holiday party for my former company. As an amateur DJ, I had the utmost respect for how well Seven was able to read the room and flexed the music to the vibe of the crowd. Starting as background music, increasing to higher energy as people started filling the room, and then really dropping the perfect dance tracks as people started letting loose on the dance floor. Being so impressed with Seven's professionalism, on and off the stage, I made sure to hire him again for the holiday party for the company I was at the following year...and he's already on speed-dial ready to book for 2019!! read more

Adding to the long list of 5 stars, I not only know this man for the many events throughout town where I saw him and where he is requested making the dance floors shake but he even did our wedding! 7 delivered a great performance and understood the type of music that would better suite our event and the people that were present. Hopefully I don't need to get married again but if I do I'll call him again. BRAVO 7! read more

We hired DJ Seven for our wedding and he was amazing. His song choices were on point for every stage of the wedding. I remember looking out during our dance party and seeing everyone from the young kiddos to the older folks on the dance floor having a great time. DJ Seven is very professional and has a calming persona (definitely a wedding day plus). He brings and sets up all the speakers and mics. He also has a great emcee voice. Thank you Sean for making our dance party such a blast. I'm so happy we had DJ Seven to take our wedding to another level of wedding party fun! read more

This is an additional review for DJ Seven. Although a little late, better than never. We hired DJ Seven for a private Christmas Party this past year. It was held in a large residence in the Marina, with 125+ people attending. DJ Seven spun tunes the whole night, getting the crowd up and dancing with his great selections. He even stayed an extra hour to make up for getting caught in traffic earlier in the night, making him slightly later than he had originally planned. Would definitely hire DJ Seven again and would not hesitate to recommend him. read more

My fiance and I hired sean (dj seven) for our engagement party, and also for another large party that we threw. My guests told me that he MADE the parties....he's a really fun dj, and he has such an extensive collection of music, he knew absolutely everything that my friends requested, no matter how obscure and unusual. He can really tell what a group is going to like, and he figures out what to play to maximize the fun factor. His rates were very reasonable...especially for someone with so much dj experience. read more

DJ Seven had everyone out on the dance floor and perfectly timed all the specific (ceremony, father/daughter dance, cake cutting) songs. Sean's confident, professional and happy demeanor just added to our wedding and our enjoyment in way you can't put a price on. Thank you! read more

DJ Seven is great at creating a good energy in the crowd with his music. I would definitely hire him again for my next event.

We hired DJ Seven for our wedding reception at a friend's suggestion. He is great - so easy to work with and has a really great ear for music. We initially had all of these must play/do not play requirements but ultimately decided to just trust him. He really knows how to read the crowd and our guests LOVED the music. I got a lot of comments that our wedding was one of the most fun weddings our guests had been to and I honestly think that had a lot to do with the music and the amazing vibe the musical selection created. He also had really good suggestions on what to do with respect to music and MC'ing the dinner portion of our wedding. He's reasonably priced, professional and I would definitely work with him again on other events! read more

Sean "DJ Seven" Evans is an amazing DJ. You can tell within minutes of talking to him how much passion he has for djing and music. I've worked with DJ Seven on several happy hours and parties that I've organized and each time my guests left telling me they loved his music. He is so good at reading the crowd in terms of the type of music to play and also how to mix in song requests he gets throughout the night. Bay Equity hired him for our holiday party and he was a huge hit! DJ Seven has his own sound equipment so that was helpful not to have to hire an additional vendor. read more

DJ Seven was an amazing DJ for our wedding. He has so many accolades to his name and came highly recommended. He did not disappoint. He was a true MC for the night as well, keeping the "flow" of the night moving on time. You will not be disappointed with his services! He has a great sound system, can play any song, and has a cordless mic for speeches. read more

Sean was the DJ for our wedding. He's amazing - talented, great music taste, nice, positive and accommodating. He had the dance floor rocking the entire night. Everyone had a blast. He honored our requests for songs to play and not to play and he also served as a capable MC for the night to keep things moving along. Plus, it was about 112 degrees that day and he didn't complain a bit. I've also seen him DJ in numerous non-wedding settings and he never disappoints. DJ Seven Rocks! read more

Sean was absolutely fabulous as the DJ for a special birthday party that we hosted last summer in our home. He anticipated the crowd, and was able to play the perfect night of music that definitely added to everyone having a great time. We even extended him 2 hours longer than what we had planned. He has a rare gift, and needs very little direction. I highly recommend him - you won't be disappointed! read more

I got married June 27th in Mill Valley, Ca. My decision to hire Sean was easy, thanks to a wedding he DJ'd last year in Arizona, which I attended. His selections of music put the picturesque Tucson sunset to shame. I couldn't wait to hire him for my special day. We met, and he listened and suggested a set list with confidence. Sean made me feel secure and excited. He arrived and set up with the upmost professionalism. His timing for our first dance and then speeches was perfect. He then proceeded to mix flavor from the 80's to the latest Summer Jams, brilliant! I've been to many weddings in my lifetime, and I can honestly say I've never seen so many people dance for 2 1/2 hours straight. The reason? DJ Seven kept the dance floor hot and happy. I felt lucky and proud to have that happen at my wedding. Look no further when looking for a DJ, do everyone attending a favor, hire DJ Seven! I guarantee it...... read more

I would recommend DJ7 for any event and would certainly him them again. He did a great job pre-wedding and the day-of. Sean showed up on time, was very responsive and helpful, and most importantly, was flexible with the timing of the wedding. He also worked with us playing the music for the ceremony and not just playing the reception afterwards. I loved that he had the wedding timeline and that we were able to create our playlist before the event. We scheduled an interview before we hired Sean, he was on time and instantly made us feel comfortable and confident that he was the right person for the job. We gave Sean our picks for types of music and some of the songs we wanted to hear but asked him to pick most of the songs. This turned out great, he asked lots of questions about our taste and songs we liked and then followed our taste and requests and added his own picks to fill in. He was also open to taking requests from the dance floor, which made my young niece's night when she got to make her request to the DJ. I would highly recommend DJ7 to anyone who is planning a big event. He was on time, he handled the set up and take down on his own, not needing any additional help from us, our friends, or anyone around, and he put on a great show. read more

Outstanding DJ with impeccable ability to read the room, achieve the right vibe and keep the energy and fun going. Also incredibly personable, delightful to interact with and an all around great guy. read more

Wow!!! We hired DJ Seven for our wedding reception. No one was sitting down, everybody was dancing!! He played all the best recent hits as well as time tested wedding favorites. His choice of music appealed to everyone; from the young people to the older crowd. And of course, he played amazing Latin beats that had everyone salsa-ing the night away. He was also a super great MC, smoothly transitioning through the reception. We all had an amazing time! You know it was an awesome party when all your friends and family have to rest their feet the next day. Highly recommend. Will hire for whoever gets married in the family next. Also communicates well and in timely manner, worked with rest of team well (videographer, wedding planner, etc) and pricing is reasonable. read more

I have known Sean for about 10+ years. Having seen him play and DJing with him at many events over the years, I knew what I was getting when I asked him to DJ my wedding reception. He came through on so many levels. Showed up on time, set up all his equipment, and even stayed later than what we originally planned for. We Persians like to party til the wee morning hours ;-) He incorporated classic Persian tunes as well as crowd favorites. Bottom line is he played to the crowd and kept us all dancing. Wedding gigs and Club gigs are very different events as far as DJing goes and DJ Seven knows how to work the crowd for both. Highly recommend. Great person and great DJ! Bottom line. read more

Sean did a terrific job for my birthday bash last year. I wanted to create a real disco vibe and Sean was able to make that happen for me. We consulted on the music for several months leading up to the party. He really got what I was looking for and did a fabulous job for us. He was prompt with set up and gave me full confidence every step of the way that he was taking care of everything. I would highly recommend him and plan to hire him again in the future. read more

"Sean was amazing! Everything was turnkey and when planning a wedding this was paramount. Sean brought all of the necessary equipment and most important his gregarious attitude and professionalism. For music, prior to the wedding, we emailed over a list of 'must haves' and 'likes.' Sean played all of them. All of the other music Sean played was appropriate and worked really well with crowd. On our wedding day there were some curves balls thrown our way that we did not anticipate. We had impromptu announcements, change of sequencing, etc. Sean was happy to pick up the ball and run with it. We were over the moon with Sean and would definitely recommend DJ Seven!" read more

DJ Seven was a lifesaver for our wedding. Our original DJ (a friend of ours) backed out 2 days before our wedding and Sean graciously stepped in. He was very organized and accommodating -- he was willing to play our pre-selected playlist during dinner and then did a great job of playing the right kind of music during dancing. He was extremely responsive, especially at the last minute, and he knew what music to play with very little guidance from us. read more

I have been working with DJ Seven for over 10 years. He has DJ's so many large events that I have planned, as well as my most recent 40th birthday event. He is just fantastic for any type of venue, music genre, or audience. He is just so talented. He is the master at mash-ups, and gets the dance floor popping. He kept my friends at my birthday dancing from the moment they walked in, until the lights went on several hours later. Cannot say enough. Plus he is reliable and very professional. Just a great guy. read more

Sean was an absolute breeze to work with. If you're planning an event (especially a wedding), you have a million and one other things to think about it, and he left us totally at ease. We met with him, and his laid back personality and thoughtful consideration to all of our wants, needs and desires was honest and genuine. Sean incorporated our must have songs, while designing a collection of others that were clearly aligned to our tastes. Another bonus is that he had the insight and experience to know what sort of songs would inspire our families to shake their groove thing as well!! Definitely hire him...he's great! read more

DJ Seven is, hands down, the best party DJ in SF. He is flexible, easy going and knows how to read a room. What's more, he is responsible and professional in a way that DJs rarely are. I have known him for ten years and seen him fill dance floors at clubs, bars and parties big and small. I recommend highly. read more

Sean DJd for our wedding this August, and what a fantastic job he did. We started with a cocktail hour where he played some light background music to the music during dinner ending with all the hits for the dancefloor that kept everyone grooving. My husband is Italian, so Sean chose some great Italian classics to play during dinner which the Italian side of the family really liked, and he also MCd for the announcements etc also which helped the evening flow smoothly! I am a pretty mellow kind of person, and basically let Sean pick all the music for the evening - he did a tremendous job and was very easy to work with as well. I highly recommend him for your next event, and if you are out and about town in SF come check out one of his bar/lounge/club sets which rock also :) read more

DJ Seven (Sean) did an amazing job at my wedding where two very different cultures were joining. He played music that everyone was able to enjoy and I still hear from friends that it was an amazing time (which had a LOT to do with the music). I would definitely recommend DJ Seven to anyone who is planning on throwing an event! read more

I just wanted to say thank you for doing such an awesome job with the music/sound for our wedding! Everything was absolutely perfect! The reception music was super fun and everyone had a blast! Thanks for throwing in those super random requests also, lol! :) read more

My wife (girlfriend at the time) and I attended a friend's wedding on the central coast in California where Sean provided DJ services. Not too often can a wedding DJ keep everyone on the dance floor the entire night and wanting more when the party had to shut down due to noise regulations -- but Sean did exactly that. Based on my experience at my friend's wedding, as soon as my wife and I started to plan our wedding, I knew exactly who I wanted to reach out to for music entertainment. My wife and I met with Sean a couple times before our big day, just to go over contractual details and playlist. Sean was very professional and accommodating. When it came time for our big day and the celebration in Tahoe, Sean did not disappoint. Still to this day, almost 4 years later, I still get compliments from friends on how much fun they had at our wedding - and how great the music was. Sean is great at keeping the party going, playing to your likes, mixing old and new - whatever you wish. Hopefully he is still DJ'ing when my wife and I celebrate upcoming milestone anniversaries so we can hire him again. read more
