Since my wife doesn't have a yelp account:…read more I have been a customer and fan of DJ Mixmeister since he DJ-ed my sweet sixteen and turned my wholesome house party into one where the cops had to come shut it down. Nine years later, I did research an array of well known DJs for my wedding. It was important for my then fiance and I to find someone who maintained a steady balance of all different kinds of music. It was not my intention to have a wedding with solely Armenian music playing or English or Arabic etc. I wanted a variety of songs that would appeal to all of my wedding guests and would also be enjoyable for my husband and myself. From the first time we met with him, Mixmeister (Garbis) was extremely attentive, accommodating and patient with every single request. He personally edited our entrance song so that it was exactly what we wanted and throughout our entire wedding he kept our guests on the dance floor with all sorts of music ranging from Armenian to Persian to old school hip hop. In my opinion, two of the most important things that add up to a fun wedding are the tone set by the bride and groom and the music. I highly recommend this DJ and ensure any of his future customers that they will not be disappointed and are in for a fun/memorable event.

There were some minor hiccups and last minute changes and we was great at adapting and rolling with the punches. As our DJ, he absolutely rocked the house! We gave him our playlists and preferred songs, but also gave him the freedom to make his own choices and read the room. His song choices were on point and the way he mixed and blended songs together was brilliant. What an awesome MC and DJ. You can't go wrong with DJ Michael Basic!

He also has a popping SoundCloud page you should check out if you need more convincing. We met with him one many months before our wedding and came out very confident with our choice. Our wedding crowd had a mix of people in their teens, 20s, 30s, 50s, 60s, etc. so we knew we needed a balanced mix to cater to everyone. Since Mike is a pro he navigated that really well on our big day. The seniors had their salsa/ballroom music, and the kids had their modern/90s hip hop, edm, pop jams.
