I do not recommend this mobile mechanic. I was charged $650 for a brake job, for my truck and shockingly, that price did not include any parts--just labor. I provided my own parts. The truck was driven to and work was performed in the shop. The job was worth no more than 300 at most. There was no transparency about pricing upfront, and when I asked for a breakdown or receipt, it was vague at best. To charge that much for labor alone, especially without providing or sourcing the parts, and with the work being done in the comfort of his shop is completely unreasonable and feels like a rip-off. I expected more professionalism, honesty, and fairness. Be cautious--shop around and get everything in writing before agreeing to anything with this mechanic. read more

I typically don't leave terrible reviews, but we had a terrible experence. We had Donyel come out and replace brakes on our RV as we live in it full time and getting it into a shop is often difficult. He charged us $680 for parts then ended up needed a new drum for one of the tires. It took over a week for him to come back and replace the drum and new brake. He then charged us another $1040 dollars for that part and labor. We later found out that is much higher than should have been paid for parts and labor. We pulled the trailer a few weeks later and had the tire that he replaced the drum on come off. It sheared all but one of the lug nuts and completely destroyed the rim and the brand new drum. We were stranded for over 4 hours waiting for a mobile unit to come and bring us a new drum and lug nuts as we couldn't even put the spare on as there was no way to attach it. We have spent every time we have pulled it since then trying to get the brakes readjusted and now have it in the shop because the brakes were constantly smelling hot and the tires were very hot. He not only ripped us off but has caused us 100's of dollars more trying to get the brakes fixed again. Thankfully we didn't wreck or have our tire hit the other oncoming vechile when it blew past us while we were doing 50mph and crossed over in front of the oncoming car. DO NOT USE HIM! read more

in april of 2024 dj came to our home and removed our generator from our class a rv to repair it and bring it back. it is now february 2026 and he will not respond to our calls or text messages. he still has our generator. we are in the process of filing a law suit against him and his company. i do not recommend his service to anyone. we paid him upfront and now he has ghosted us. read more

We called DJ mechanic service and spoke with DJ. We agreed to let him replace a compressor for a total of 1248.00. We paid 800.00 for the compressor and 400.00 for labor. Jul6 he bought the supposedly for a new compressor. We took the RV for a ride shortly after replacing it and 30 minutes into the drive it was blowing hot air. We have been calling DJ back and he would say I'll be out to fix it, it's Sep 26 and he keeps putting us off. Now he won't answer his phone. I'm seeking legal counsel now because. Dj has scammed us. He insisted on being paid cash app, so in a text and email we demanded a full refund. We got no respond. Called in the morning explaining my car had a bent rim, called to get it replaced but the mechanic was able to heat up the rim and bend it back without having to buy a new rim which saved me money. The job was done by noon and he comes at your convenience. Way better than going to any of the auto shops in the area. read more
