Hello there Yelper,…read more I do not typically leave reviews, as I feel everything is pretty clear on what you can expect from services etc. However, I feel it is my civic duty as a civilian to leave a detailed review and account of my experience from working with Adie and having them M.C. at my wedding. We locked in our reservation with a deposit about a year before the event. Once it got closer in, we had a few phone calls with Adie, detailing what they would be doing at the wedding and what type of music we were interested in. Adie had me and my wife download an app, to answer all types of questions about preferences and skips and must plays. We also took it upon ourself to make a 9 hour playlist, just to show the kind of music we enjoyed. Fast forward to our wedding day, Adie arrives later than expected, very frantic and disheveled. She asked if her car parked in half in the driveway/half on the sidewalk was fine. I didn't really have an answer for her and then she began telling me the excuse and reason why she was late, in her pajamas, and panicked. It being my wedding day, I didn't stick around to find out what the excuse was. Adie proceeded to set up their equipment as guests were arriving, so the music we intended to be hearing wasn't necessarily playing at that time. I approached Adie with a $25 Gift card an Bag of Chocolates, to give as a prize for our guests for a scavenger hunt. Adie rolled her eyes but agreed to announce it. (After the event ended, she never announced the hunt and never returned the prize to us or gave it to a guest). When it was time for dinner, we asked her to announce table numbers. She rolled her eyes and after tables 1&2 finished, we had to tell her to announce 3&4. Those were the last tables she announced, as they were preoccupied looking for their car keys. My best man had to go to every individual table and let them know to get food. While this is happening, the music is cracking, cutting in and out, or simply not playing at all. When it's time to kick off the music, we were very clear out what the first should have been. Once the music awkwardly started on the wrong song, I walked over and told Adie to play our requested song, she said "it's in the queue". Once the song finally played, it was an unrecognizable remake. The only time the crowd was active was when Adie played a song directly from our playlist. I can only imagine what would've happened if we didn't provide that beforehand. On a list a 10 must plays, I think she played 3. We told her not to skip "Wayne features" and she skipped each one. We were very clear on what the final song of the night should've been as well and Adie failed to play that song. Once the night ended, Adie spent an hour+ looking around the property and creeping out our guests. We waited a few days to see if Adie would reach out to us to explain their behaviors on our wedding day. Adie didn't, so we sent an email expressing our disappointment. Adie has since blocked myself, my wife, and my DOG on social media (where we've never interacted with her accounts). All in all, this was a terrible experience, I would never recommend Adie to anyone looking for a DJ/MC/or Host. I am baffled at how horrible they were and the fact that people suggested her to us. With peace and love, I hope she gets the help she needs. -ceremony went fine (still skipped a listed entrance song) -she played SOME songs from our list -she arrived in pajamas she didn't announce anything properly (even my name wrong) -we explicitly said no EDM, she played EDM. - terrible attitude, never willing to work for a resolution - went out of their way to block us instead of conversing

It took me a moment to decide to write this review because honestly I was feeling bad for her. But,…read moreI feel it's important to share our experience with Adie and GroundLoop Events. I will start with the positive. We had a really clear open line of communication with Adie from the beginning when we began planning our event a year and a half ago. We were prompted to download an app and complete a slew of questions to better get to know us and what we want. We also had an email thread going where explained how important music was to us and we had a few phone calls. During this whole process Adie ensured that all of our requests could and would be met and she would be M.C. all night. She said she would move the event along based on the timeline given to her and would even call our table numbers. We were excited to work with her and appreciated her openness and feedback. For the ceremony the equipment worked well and our guests could hear us and the music was as we expected. Now for the bad stuff. Adie showed up to our event later than we expected and she was wearing her pajamas. She was frantic and disheveled and it really seemed something was wrong. Again the ceremony went off without a hitch but immediately after the ran into problems. We asked Adie to announce it was time for the piñata and to move to the lawn. She was visibly upset by the request and said she was trying. At this time my husband and I decided to just tell our guests ourselves to make their way to the lawn. We figured during this time it would give her a moment to collect herself and get it together. After the cocktail hour my husband and I made our way back to Adie to tell her we would scratch the grand entrance to which she seemed relieved and asked her to begin announcing tables 2 at a time. She made it to table 5 out of 14 before she gave up and stopped calling numbers. My husband and I then had to go through and tell our guests 1 table at a time to get their food. Additionally, during this time the music was abruptly stopping and changing to the next song and also cutting in and out. By this point I was very frustrated because the service we were promised was not being delivered on. Once all the tables were called, I went back to Adie and asked her to announce the speeches. She audibly sighed and rolled her eyes. At this point I (the bride) asked her if she was okay or if there was a problem... she then went into a story about losing her keys and her outfit getting locked in the car and how her speakers were getting wet because of the bad weather etc. I offered towels and plastic bags, anything to help her get the show on the road and she was still upset and rejected my assistance. We asked a family member at this point to essentially babysit her and make sure she was making the rest of the day happen or to just make her leave. Ultimately we had her stay and complete the event but this was due to the fact that we already paid her not because we were happy with the services. She asked us for an absolute must play list and she maybe played 5 of the 10 that were on there. She also did not play the last song of the night we requested. Lastly, when the night was over, she asked me to help her look for her keys so myself and my brother combed the backyard searching for her keys which were not found. She hung out at the venue for an hour and half after the music stopped without coming up with another solution to leave. This actually made many of our guests uncomfortable because we were staying on property, we felt unsafe. While I understand these things happen, there should have been a level of professionalism that removed her hard day from the event and job she was hired for. We have not received any contact from Adie or Ground Loop since the event and it has been almost a week. If it wasn't for our other vendors and family members stepping up to the plate, this would have ruined our wedding. It certainly put undue stress and hardship on myself and my husband. Overall I don't recommend using this service.

What can we say about DJ Danny that hasn't already been said?…read more Like a lot of people, we found Danny through a glowing Reddit review while searching for a wedding DJ, and he absolutely lived up to the hype. From start to finish, he handled everything seamlessly. He set up speakers and microphones across three different areas for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, all while keeping the music flowing and hosting the entire night effortlessly. The actual music was the part we were most particular about. We basically told Danny, "Please don't play the typical wedding playlist," and gave him a VERY long "do not play" list. He completely nailed the vibe we were going for. Every song felt intentional and fit our style perfectly. His mixing was incredible, and at times it honestly felt like being at a concert in the best way possible, while still feeling personal and true to our wedding. The dance floor stayed packed all night long, and so many of our guests commented on how good the music was. We can't recommend DJ Danny enough. He was professional, easy to work with, and genuinely helped make our wedding unforgettable.

We hired AON Events for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out!…read moreFrom start to finish, he was professional, organized, and so easy to work with. The ceremony music was absolutely beautiful and perfectly timed. Once the reception started, the music chosen was perfect for each part of the night (cocktail hours, dinner, then dancing!). He kept the energy up all night. Our dance floor was packed from the first song to the last! Every guest commented on how much fun they had. The Photo Booth was also a total hit -- everyone loved it, and we got so many great pictures to look back on. We're so grateful for how much care and attention he put into making our day so special. Highly recommend DJ Danny to anyone looking for someone who truly knows how to create the perfect wedding atmosphere!
