Jon was the dj for our wedding this past June. Jon was easy to talk to, chill and approachable. Unfortunately, we did run into some hiccups the day of our wedding as the sound system seemed to not work at times during our ceremony and reception. We had some singers so extra mics and cords were needed. Jon did not have enough to go around so we brought in the extra items. This could have been the reason of the disconnect, but it was a bit embarrassing when the sound would go in and out during speeches, but you do what you can. Jon was easy to get ahold of- he answered emails and texts almost right away. We also asked him to come 1-2 hours earlier which he did and we appreciated. I would have liked him to work the crowd a little bit more, but people seemed to have a good time once the music started playing. The list of songs he provided also helped in setting up the mood. Good mix of old and new songs which was great. He worked well with our coordinator and was also affordable compared to others in the city. Jon was amazing!! I have been planning weddings for a long time! When my cousin asked me to help plan his wedding, of course I said yes. I had not planned any weddings in San Diego in my career, so I did not have my usual preferred vendors. The wedding was to be planned in a very short period of time, and Jon was efficient with my time and our email communications were easy and simple. Jon adapted easily to our situation and since he knew that I would be planning the wedding did not ask for un-necessary forms. He was able to communicate with me regarding my timeline of events and was agreeable to the bride and grooms requests. Little did I know just how adaptable Jon was! The day of was a bit chaotic, with heavy rain in San Diego. But Jon has a way with crowds. He was able to quickly assess the crowd and adapt to their style. He has a great charismatic personality and made the bride and groom feel very comfortable. Jon has a professionalism that makes you feel like you have known him all your life, AND feeling confident in his skill and talent. He does not second guess himself and makes everyone feel like they are welcome. We had a lunch time wedding, and he knew how to make the music atmosphere feel appropriate. DJ Jon was exactly what you want for your wedding. Professional, friendly and great as a DJ. His services include both the ceremony and reception music. He does not add on for each additional item, such as the use of microphones. His pricing is all inclusive. When we first met with him, he provided us with a list of popular song choices, which was great to use as a starting point for a playlist (and a do not play list). He also gave us a list of song specific events to consider such as the first dance, bridal bouquet toss and anniversary dance. With the microphones he provided at the ceremony, our guests could all hear our vows. At the reception, he provided the microphones for the speeches and kept our dance floor going all night. He also called out the tables for the buffet dinner line we had. While we did pay him in cash, he does accept credit cards, which we quickly learned is not common. We used DJ Jon for our 25th wedding anniversary party. He was recommended to us by a friend who heard him DJ at a wedding. I had never hired a DJ before so I had lots of questions & he patiently answered all my questions & didn't flinch at any of my requests. Because this was an 25th anniversary party we had a lot of music that was more sentimental we wanted to hear which was not your typical party music. He made sure he played those songs throughout dinner which made the evening extra special & once dinner was over played all the best dance music. We hired DJ Jon Beezy to DJ our 5th year anniversary party. From the get go, we knew it was a great choice. Before the event, he made sure to check in, get a list of songs we would like to hear, and provide us with a run down of the type of music he plays. For the reception part of the party - he played some good mellow background music that kept the atmosphere happy and fun. Once we started the dancing he KEPT people dancing until the very end. I did not think there would be that many people out dancing, but his music choice kept them coming out! From the oldest to the youngest, everyone had a great time. Jon was absolutely amazing and the BEST choice for our wedding DJ! He's professional, attentive, friendly and very fun to work with! He came highly recommended to us and he did not disappoint. Our ceremony and reception were at Riverwalk Golf Club in San Diego. We had a unique set-up with inside/outside dance floor. Dj Jon Beezy was so easy to work with. He was just one of those people that you felt like you knew for a long time. He was very organized and was able to give me an invoice within a week of booking him and also provided all the necessary planning worksheets to create a successful song list. Of course I didn't get that to him until the few days before our wedding, but he still killed it. He was able to read my crowd and tell what kind of music they wanted to dance to. We also gave him a unique list of songs to play during the cocktail hour and dinner (definitely not top 40) and he was still able to deliver and exceed our expectations.
