The owner explained how to make our video work, encouraged me to practice it there in the store until I felt comfortable, carried the tv to the car for me, and was very generous in the time frame he allowed for us to return the tv. Honestly, the entire experience was positive, happy, reassuring, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend Top Hat Entertainment, and and am very grateful for the expert help and advice!

His energy in emails/phone calls was contagious, and we'd leave interactions with him feeling that much more excited for the wedding. Day of, he provided ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music and was phenomenal! My big hope for our wedding reception (especially post Covid) was that people would dance, and he did such a great job, the dance floor was full all night! He had the best energy, and was great to work with. I'm so glad we found Top Hat! I should also mention, we rented Top Hat's "magic mirror" photobooth. Our guests thought it was so cool, and it made a great favor. I was originally on the fence about a photobooth, but it was so fun, and made for some hilarious pictures! Thank you Mike and Top Hat!

    Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed by the quality of service that was delivered by Fulton…read moreMusic. To start off, Michael did not follow the timeline of events provided whatsoever. Toasts were supposed to be sprinkled in every 10 minutes within dinnertime, but over 45 minutes passed before Michael called anyone up to toast. This seriously delayed the flow of events and cut our dancing time very short. The worst part is that my maid of honor was the one reminding Michael about the order of events and eventually took a microphone and started announcing instead. Later in the evening, Michael randomly announced that we would be having our first dance when we were not ready. This caused a huge awkward moment because there was no room for dancing and guests were looking at us waiting for us to have our dance. I'm very confused as to why I would be even asked to provide a timeline if Michael did not follow it. The thing that hurt me most is the fact that Michael completely botched our first introduction as a couple. We asked for a specific song to be played when we entered the room but our song was not played until we were at our seats across the room. This was very awkward and shifted the energy in the room. Next, Michael's transitions were extremely long, silent and awkward. Michael did not play music or say anything during transitions. These transitions did not flow naturally, were filled with heavy silence and lasted a long time. Things got so bad that we avoided adding in more events/announcements because we knew Michael's transitions would be uncomfortable. Next, I indicated on the DJ Questionnaire that only clean music was to be played. Towards the end of the evening, Michael played music that was extremely explicit. This was offensive to ourselves, our friends and our family who don't uphold those values. Next, Michael's microphone was echoey and guests could not hear what he was saying for most of the night. When Michael announced things, people looked at each other confused and questioned each other about what was said. A few days after my wedding, I reached out to Michael to discuss what happened. I explained why I was disappointed in the service I received and I was met with an aggressive response. Michael told me all the mishaps were my fault and I could seek legal action if I wanted to. This reaction was very hostile, especially because I was simply expressing the things I was disappointed with and I did it in a respectful way. Michael expressed to me that he needs couples to have a day-of-coordinator in order to perform his job effectively. Apparently, the DJ Questionnaire he provides and a timeline of events is not enough for him to know what to do during our big day; he also needs a resource person to tell him what to do. I don't have anything against this, but it came as a surprise to us because we were never made aware of this before hiring Michael. I don't think we would have hired him if he had told us he needed an additional person to keep him on track. Finally, Michael blamed us arriving 20 minutes late to the reception as the reason the timeline was off. I understand we were late, but that's something that happens at weddings (20 minutes is a very small delay). I guess this delay threw Michael off so bad that he gave up on announcing events. I strongly discourage people from booking Fulton Music because you will spend a lot of money to receive a service that one of your untrained friends/family could provide.
