He filled in last minute and I was scared and cynical at first because I had never talked to him or knew anything about him. He called me and assured me everything was going to work out and he made me feel better about hiring someone on such short notice. All I knew was I needed someone quick, someone affordable and talented and he definitely exceeded my expectations!!! He was easy to communicate with and puts his clients first and cares about what music you want to hear and arrived on time to the event and set up and provided lighting, and a mic if needed. Something I really care about is integrity and realness especially when working with people you do not necessarily know what to expect from and DJ Ernie is honest and his customer service is beyond amazing! He has been DJing for over 10 years and his wife(who is a complete sweetheart!) is also starting up her photography business so I think they are starting a combined company soon with all the works! Lil Saint was by far the most awkward experience I have ever had at a party. He found it appropriate to do a Roast of a 16 year old on her birthday. While this might have been fun for some, it was just awkward for guests and the birthday girl. Roasts should be saved for 50s birthdays not teenage girls. Then comes the sweet moment of the father/daughter dance. How could he possibly miss the mark in this one...well instead of just playing butterfly kisses...HE SANG. It was so bad. Oh and let's not forget the birthday song. So her mom told the DJ she was getting the cake. Instead of waiting for the cake to come out (because we had to get it from the kitchen and put candles in it) he just started singing his own version of happy birthday so no one else could sing and he serenaded the 16 year old birthday girl making her and everyone around her uncomfortable. Overall he made the birthday girl uncomfortable, the guests uncomfortable, and did not know the most important job of DJing and MCing which is being able to read the room.

He was able to deliver the services himself while simultaneously controlling the music cues - all wirelessly while awaiting with the groom as the bridal party walked down the aisle. I doubt many guests even realized he was doing all of this himself, but I've been to so many weddings where the DJ missed the cue or faded the music too late. I was simply amazed that he was able to do this so seamlessly. It was amazing to see in person and I'm sure made the couple's wedding videos turn out better as well.
