The magician I wanted to hire was booked somewhere else and I only found out a few days before, but the balloon sculpture artist Mark recommended instead was an absolute hit with the kids as well as the adults, which was a pleasant surprise. He made my husband the most outrageous birthday hat. Right when he was supposed to be done, one of the kids tripped and popped his balloons and got upset, and he stayed longer to make him (and a few other stragglers) more balloons. Truly kind. The photographer David was also really so helpful, friendly, and on it! He came early and helped with some of the set up... he was attentive and also very nice to talk to. Very natural (sometimes it's awkward when a photographer's in your face taking pictures but it wasn't awkward at all). We got a USB full of pictures right after the party! Ben impressed us so much with his attention to detail, responding directly to how our guests reacted to each track, seamlessly transitioning to the next, feeding into the vibe while still surprising us with exciting twists and turns. As emcee for the night, Ben couldn't have been more professional. His announcements were clear, even the difficult names were pronounced perfectly, and every music cue during our cocktail hour, ceremony, cake cutting, and reception was perfectly timed. Ben provided us with very easy-to-follow instructions to help him shape our night. His communication with us was crystal clear; we knew exactly what he needed, and we trusted him to carry it out. We met with him a few times over Zoom in the year leading up to the wedding, and he worked directly with our wedding planner, who recommended him, nailing every detail and request made along the way. I was never once worried or anxious about our decision to work with Ben and Remixologists, as it was very clear he understood exactly what we were looking for, and he was friendly and confident throughout the entire process. We had a wonderful reception! JP was our DJ and he was personable, responsive to our emails and texts, and knowledgeable in answering our many questions! The music selection website was also easy to use and connect to our Spotify playlist. JP was easy to get along with and he was even kind enough to have a Tide-To-Go pen on hand and cleaned my wedding dress when I spilled chocolate sauce on it! The dancing with the clouds was amazing and elevated our first dance to look straight out of a fairy tale, and the sparklers shot out at the perfect moment of our lift. The traditional photo booth was more cramped than we expected, so if we knew the small size we may have opted for a different type of photo booth, but it seemed to not bother our guests and was a good size for fitting 4 people. We also love the photo booth souvenir book that Posh DJs prepared for us that was really clean and well-organized. JP did play all our must-play songs and songs from our "play if possible" list, and also did play the requested instrumental music during dinner. On the day of the wedding, we were worried that our guests wouldn't dance during reception so we let him know that we were okay if he played some songs off our list to get the crowd going. Later, we weren't sure if we should have given that direction since the first dance set had too many songs that we DIDN'T know. (My husband and I are not familiar with older songs, so we didn't recognize any of those songs in the first dance set). However, JP checked in with us after the first dance set and we asked him if he could play more songs from our playlist and we were happier with our second and third dance sets. We had discussed with JP during our final call that we wanted to do a napkin game to "raffle" off the centerpieces to our guests, but on the day before the wedding we had squeezed in last minute sparklers (we didn't think it was possible to light them since it was pouring rain, but we ended up being able to when the venue told us we could have sparklers on a covered patio), so in all the commotion we had forgotten about the napkin game and most of the centerpieces were left at the venue, which I wish we could have distributed to our guests. But overall, I am happy with Posh DJs and JP and thank you for contributing to our magical wedding!

We were told with extreme rudeness that we missed a cutoff time (understandable, but the way we were spoken to was completely unacceptable) and that we would not be refunded. When I asked if I could at least take a photo with the event's backdrop (which they do not own) with my own phone, the co-owner, Melissa, met me with extreme rudeness. Her colleague, Shimmy, then spewed prejudice, racist comments, curses and threatened to physically assault me. The event coordinator and security ended up intervening on my behalf to address the staff. What was otherwise a perfect event was completely ruined for myself and my entire party that I attended with (including my wife who left the event in tears). This was an absolutely horrendous experience. I urge anyone who is considering this company for any event to stay away at all cost!

Nick was very receptive when I initially emailed him to inquire about his services. Nick was extremely personable and had the right amount of "wanting to make the customer happy" and "knowing when to give his opinion when discussing possible plans." After meeting Nick in person, and listening to him speak about how he operates in comparison to others in the business, as well as his overall enthusiasm, we confidently chose Nick to DJ for our wedding. In addition to his MC/DJ services, we also rented up-lighting and a photo booth from him. The photo booth price included unlimited printed photos in real time for our guests to take home, as well as a digital copy of every photo taken. I can tell you that his photo booth was not only a hit the night of our wedding, but as well as when we invited our friends over to watch every photo projected onto our TV. It was a real treat for my wife and I to be able to see all the hilarious moments we had missed during that night. At the 3-month mark prior to our wedding, Nick sent us spreadsheets/word documents, outlining the entire event, and giving us the opportunity to write down all the names of our family/friends that were to be introduced, as well as what songs we wanted played and when to play them. 10 days before our wedding, we had a final conference call with Nick to review the entire plan step by step; from the ceremony (where he hired live musicians for us), to the introductions and entrances, to our first dance, and the playlist that was to commence after that. I can't tell you, witnessing issues at other weddings, how grateful we were to have Nick request a phonetic spelling of every person to be introduced (parents, wedding party, etc) and then practice it on the phone with us during our conference call. His attention to detail and meticulous organization is just one of the attributes that sets Nick apart from other entertainers. Throughout the entire planning process, Nick knew that we wanted not just high energy at the beginning of the night, but consistent energy throughout the 4 hours. He kept the crowd engaged and played a variety of music that everyone, regardless of age, enjoyed (The late 90s/early 2000s playlist was quite nostalgic and fun). Guests from our wedding continue to tell us how great Nick was. The quality of his work was quite apparent when our wedding video revealed some of our guests leaving the dance floor only to return moments later with a fresh drink in hand, and renewed energy to continue dancing the night away. I highly recommend Nick and Entertainment Explosion for any party/event you are planning! I promise you that you will not be disappointed! We plan on using him for future family events as well!
