We had the BEST time with Steve as our DJ!!!!…read more We hosted a birthday extravaganza for my Mom, at Oakbrook Drury Lane, in the Crystal Room, and about 135 people attended! From the very beginning, Steve was full of energy...he was so much fun, and he completely brought the party to life! He has the kind of personality that lights up a room...so lively and kind and he was 100% in sync with everything that we were doing! Steve worked with us every step of the way! He was patient, upbeat, and honestly just a joy to have there! He kept the guests engaged, got people dancing, and was clearly loving what he does, and it showed in every move that he made! And here's something I really appreciated... he actually told me, "If anyone gives you trouble, I'll take care of it!" Now THAT'S a DJ who's got your back!!! He was supportive, polite, and just the perfect presence throughout the event! He brought in extra lighting to really make the room sparkle, and he gave me a hands-free microphone which was a lifesaver since I was giving the welcome speech and needed my hands free to hold onto the papers that I was reading from! His assistant was also very sweet, and she was right there to help Steve from the beginning to the end of the evening! We're so grateful to have had Steve as part of my Mom's birthday celebration and it wouldn't have been the same without him! I HIGHLY recommend Steve for your next event! After all, music is EVERYTHING at your party! You need someone who's a pro... someone who can keep the energy going... someone who has a personality and who speaks well...someone who can make your event come alive!!! You need STEVE!!! He'll give you confidence and one less BIG thing to worry about! And he is just a "hell of a...." nice guy!!! Infinite thanks, Steve!!!! Lenore, Bob and Emily, too!!!

The contracted DJ, photographer, and videographer all hired by KCE did a fantastic job on the night of our wedding. Afterwards, however, the process of getting the video and photos from Keith has prompted me to leave a 1-star review. When meeting with Keith in person for our initial consultation, it seemed like he truly knew the ins and outs of the wedding entertainment business. His professional communication and customer service skills, however, were horrendous. Every time we reached our to Keith regarding our photos or video he would respond with "I will check and get back to you tomorrow". He never kept on his word and we would ALWAYS have to reach back out to him to follow up. The response to our follow up emails would often be more excuses, lies, and empty promises. All of this terrible communication left my wife stressed and worried that maybe something happened to the items we paid for and potentially would not get them. We were very excited to use Keith Christopher Entertainment as he came highly recommended from a family member that is in the wedding industry. After our experience, she will no longer be recommending this company and will be sharing our experience with her colleagues as well. Looking back at the reviews for this company, it seems like this company has gone downhill since 2014. In the end, we did get what we paid for, but I can confidently say that it was only in a timely manner because I was persistent in contacting him and eventually brought a lawyer into the conversation. We are happy to have our photos and videos and be done with the Keith Christopher Entertainment group, but we are sharing our experience because no couple should have to go through such a stressful and upsetting experience especially during what is supposed to be such a happy time in your life. Sorry for the long post, but I feel like people should know the experience we had.

I really appreciate Deana for helping me out with my music selection asks opening up my variety of music. Otherwise we would have probably be jamming to Tiesto or David Guetta if it was up to me. Thank you also for having patients with my crazy schedule l. I really never thought of the little things and if you guys didn't ask if I needed all the extras I would have left out a lot. You guys are definitely the one stop shop for music and entertainment. I know I kept adding things to my contract and making changes but Deana pulled through 110%. The night of we all had a blast everyone was dancing I have all the pictures from the photo booth that I am hoping to have posted on my Facebook along with pictures of the event. I felt like I was at a concert with the quality of the system and lighting. Thank you !!!!! I can't express how much fun we had and I swear my feet hurt for days! Great service, amazing people and over all LOVED THE EXPERIENCE! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Ps I will be calling you to book our Xmas event soon!

DJ Persist was flat out amazing…read more We found out about him at my wife's Barrister's Ball when she was still attending Depaul Law a few years ago. He had the entire room dancing all night so we just we went up to him and got his card. It was still in my wallet 2 years later, so we called him and set everything up. We decided to get married at a restaurant called Carnivale and rocked it! His name is Jesse. He's very organized, VERY professional and VERY helpful. We told him what we wanted and he delivered with ease. He will offer tons of suggestions to make your wedding as special as possible and he didn't disappoint. In a sense, he kind of works as a day of coordinator to keep things on schedule. We LOVED him. His cost was $1000 which was pretty good for his service. He doesn't charge for working over a few extra hours and his basic package includes his state of the art sound system, 2 wireless microphones (which one did temporarily stop working during me reading my vows but he made up for that with his service), access to this really cool website that allows you to create a timeline for your event, add music that you want to play or don't want to play, and set music to play at certain points during the wedding. We were so confident in Jesse that we paid him in full up front but he only requires I believe at least 25% deposit and the rest before or at your event. We got nothing but positive feedback from our guests about him. One of our friends was shocked that he wore a tux because DJs typically don't do that. The music was the best hits of the 90s, early 2000s and whatever else we wanted to hear. There was even a woman there with a leg brace on that refused to sit down because the music and mixes were just so good! We'd definitely hire DJ Persist again and we are so glad we picked him. If you are contemplating, do it. You will not be disappointed!

He did a phenomenal job of doing all of the above, paying attention to detail, mindful of our requests/musical personalities, did an awesome job reading the room/energy and progression of the night, keeping us on task and so much more! DJ Persist is warm and had great energy! We felt so comfortable with him and were confident from day one that he was going to do an excellent job on our wedding- and he did! He surpassed all expectations and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Throughout the planning process and day of he was great with communication, organization, artistry and creativity! We appreciate him working with our vendors and day of coordinator! DJ Persist, THANK YOU SO MUCH! You are awesome and, as you saw, once the dance floor opened up, I couldn't stop dancing! We cannot recommend you enough! JPP was one of the easiest vendors to work with, reliable, and professional. During the months leading up to the wedding we worked on our playlists using Spotify. We had a playlist for pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. We also selected special songs (some with specific start times) for things like newlywed introductions and cake cutting. We initially emailed with Jeff, who always responded promptly. A couple weeks before the wedding, we got the email from JPP to fill in their document with our song details and from then on we communicated with Miguel over phone and text. We texted Miguel with last minute changes, which he confirmed promptly and executed perfectly on the wedding day.
