The venue itself is more intimate, which I enjoyed, but they still had some seating they had private spots and even some reserve reserved or VIP tables which I really liked and I think I would get next time I came here. He even customized his set to include my dad's Elvis favorites (and humored us when the birthday boy decided to "join in" on the performance ‍). We got there right before 8pm and order a sucker punch bucket drink (32 oz) and it was half off ($10 instead of $20... woohoo). Their drinks are reasonably priced as well. The awesome lineup this year included Gerald Albright, Peter White, Mindy Abair, Brian Culbertson, Kim Waters and the Sax Pack and many other artists. I like this place because it's a super chill spot where there's love for everyone. Came on a Saturday night towards the end of business. It was fairly dead on the bar side but the live music was still rocking. There was an entry fee to get access to the right side of the club and so we just stayed near the bar on the left side where it was free. Door person and bartender were super chatty and friendly. It's a low lighting / red light place which adds to the chill and intimate vibes. Drinks were cheap. Asked for a martini and usually at a bar like this, it ain't that great. But the bartender knew what she was doing clearly. When it's slow, it's definitely a more enjoyable experience.
