So, I've rarely left reviews, but this place had such amazing food and such a great staff that I just felt the need to brag on them! They have the best-ever marinara sauce for their cheese sticks, and I absolutely loved the Passion Fruit Margarita! The shrimp po' boy didn't disappoint! Dizzy's Bar & Grill in Cheraw SC, tucked inside the Springhill Suites, definitely has vibes. It seems to be one of the main local spots which makes sense given the size of the town. The energy was cool and the staff were super friendly and welcoming, which I always appreciate when I'm somewhere new. Now, let's talk about the food. I wanted to love it, but it just wasn't giving what it needed to give. I had the wings, fries, and a drink and all of it was just ... okay. Not terrible, but definitely not memorable either. You ever eat something and just know it could've hit harder? That was me. That said, I wouldn't write it off completely. If I had more time in town I'd definitely swing back through and give something else on the menu a shot. I did see that they do karaoke on the weekends and that might be the real selling point; fun, casual, and a chance to see the locals cut loose. I would've went during my last visit if I didn't have laryingitis. Haha Overall, it's a decent little spot with potential. Service was fast and excellent overall. That's the shining star for my visit. It was busy on a Monday night, mostly because it seems few restaurants other than fast food are open on Monday nights in town. Nevertheless, I would have never considered that the level of business would cause our food to come 2 HOURS (no exaggeration) after ordering. Thankfully my party was staying at the hotel and we had a lot to talk about. It seemed like the kitchen could only make two plates at a time, and there were long pauses between servers moving food. For my table, finally two burgers appeared. It took another 10 minutes for the third entrée to appear, with other tables' food going out in between. Not a good look. Both people who ordered burgers at my table ordered them medium and both came out well done. My colleague didn't finish his. I ate mine, but it was so dry that I had to drench it in ketchup to get it down. On the bonus side, I jokingly suggested to our server that we should get a free round of drinks for our wait, which she surprised us after our food delivery with that free round, which was super nice; thus the comments that service was great. I'm back! Several reviews gave high praise for the "Dizzy Burger" so I had to give it a try ... and I was not disappointed!!! Absolutely loved everything about the burger - the reviews did not lead me astray lol. This is a must try. Fries are included with the burger but not a beverage FYI. read more

I have Celiac disease making it extremely hard to eat anywhere when I travel. Stayed at the SpringHill Suites in Cheraw 3/14-3/15 was checked in my Maria. Terrific experience! She provided insightful info about amenities on property and the restaurant. I asked what they served since I have limited food options and explained my situation. She directed me to their new Director of Food and sent to me the Bar & Grill to speak with Chef Cori. She was fantastic! Knowledgeable and informative about my condition and reassured me I would be cared for when I returned for dinner reservations. Later that evening, Chef Cori prepared a meal cooked by herself, to guarantee nothing I ordered was compromised. My plate was even served separate from my dinner guests. My grandson asked why, and she took time to tell him separating my meal prevents any cross-contamination and keeps me safe. Following morning, I was surprised to find a breakfast wrapped with plastic items waiting for me. All items I could eat without allergies or digestive issues. This attention to detail made my experience at Dizzy's and SpringHillSuites@Marriott.com exceptional. I am definitely returning again! read more

Went in for happy hour (4 to 7) and ordered their old fashioned which was excellent. Nice flavor balance with orange and cherry garnishes. The spinach and artichoke dip was very good. It comes with tortilla chips for dipping which is good although Pita chips are my personal preference. I ordered the wings with the house sauce. Really enjoyed the hot and sweet taste of the sauce on the wings. The side order of truffle fries tasted great but could have been cooked longer. I like them a little crispier and the cheese on top would have melted more. The staff are great and the chef checked to make sure if everything was ok. I like the way the restaurant has been furnished and decorated. Very classy and a great addition to the towns choice for dining out or stopping in for a quiet drink. read more

Great service! We just had a couple of appetizers so I can't speak to the quality of the entrees. Not a huge selection of appetizers, but I'd rate the broiled cauliflower 8/10 and the quesadilla a 7/10. We were there early and not many people were there, so it was quiet and pleasant with many seating choices. read more

Just had lunch and cocktails at the new Dizzy's. The food, service and the cocktails were fantastic !!! We had the Dizzy burger and the BLT chicken green goddess sandwich. Both were amazing. The chicken sandwich was creative with pickled onions, and avocado spread and green goddess sauce, a delicious combo!! Nikki and Octavia were so friendly and prompt with their service. Kareem, the GM, was our bartender. He made the passion fruit margarita, the regular margarita and the hibiscus mule. Some of the best drinks we've had anywhere!!! When we had questions about the menu Brian, the chef, came out from the kitchen and described all the dishes we were curious about. We can't wait to come back. Fabulous all around !!!!! read more
