I came to Dr. Joe with the mindset that this was my last stop before I would need to get surgery, because I could barely walk or even put socks on myself without someone's help. Being in my young 20's, this was clearly not the route I wanted to take (surgery). After in depth conversations with Dr. Joe, he felt confident that in time I could be back to my normal routine (I am extremely active and love to workout/hike/ etc.) with the right program. So we got to work. And work it was, but well worth it. To this day I will always say that if it wasn't for him, I would not be working out the way I am at 36 weeks pregnant or able to do a lot of the things I love to do.
