In fact I picked G&G because they work on everything from modern sedans to 60's muscle cars and I wanted a shop to work on my Miata that was used to servicing older vehicles. Lot's of shops these days would not have been able to do the work G&G did on my car, as many techs these days simply aren't used to working on anything older than 10-20 years, so it's nice to find a shop that has lot's of experience with vehicles of every era.

I had it towed to Triad Transmission because it was still 'under warranty.' 1 month later they said it was fixed. We drove out there to pick it up and it still wouldn't shift out of 1st gear. So we left it there for them to fix. 1 month later we are told it is fixed and that they had to replace the Control Module which would be 'around $400-$500,' because the module is 'outside' of the transmission and not covered under warranty. We get there and they charge us $1675 and only accept cash. We start going home and it STILL WON'T SHIFT OUT OF 1ST GEAR!!! So we drove it home all the way in 1st gear because we are not taking it back to these crooks!!! DO NOT BRING your vehicle here! They will take your money and not actually fix anything.
