Half Rack, Mac n' Cheese, Baked beans and cones with toast, corn bread, or Hush Puppies. Ribs fall off the bone. Mac and Puppies are top notch.

The esthetic of this restaurant is the same and true to a BBQ joint. The staff are nice and patient with you, any questions you might have they'll answer you thoroughly. However, I just found out when I went to lunch there that the restaurant has new owners and they changed their supplier and the rib quality isn't the same. The owner was nice and accommodated me.

In an era where service is lacking, this owner and all in the kitchen make this place worth coming back again and again. They are outstanding!! THE FOOD is delicious. If you have southern roots or grew up in AL, FL, GA, MS, NC, SC, this will transport you to your childhood. For those not from the south, come and have the best experience of your life. Prices are fair and reasonable for the quality and amount of food. And it's "real" ice tea, sweet or unsweetened. Seating is outdoors under a covered patio but this is quite ok. You'll be too busy enjoying your meal to worry about being outside. It's Florida. Enjoy the day!

We've been coming to this place forever. It's changed hands down through a family generation or so, but the basics have remained the same. It's still a no-frills throwback to those southern barbecue shacks that used to populate the back roads. And you can smell the smoke of the cooking. They have updated the place a bit with some paint and tables that are covered, but the barbecue is still some of the best in the area. It's located in an industrial area and that makes up a lot of their clientele from surrounding businesses. The separate building is right next to the street. They do a lot of take out, but we chose to sit at one of their concrete benched tables in the open air, but under the covered patio. You get to see and hear the street traffic. There is no "inside" seating. You order at the counter window and pay, and they call your name to pick up your food. The menu is posted on the wall and there's usually a daily special on one of the small blackboards. I got their quarter chicken lunch special and requested white meat. It came with cornbread and a choice of one side. The combo breast wing was cooked through and through and slathered with sauce. At first, I didn't think it would be big enough to satisfy me, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was delicious. For my side, I got their baked beans. Unlike some, these were very flavorful and a good combo with the chicken. The corn bread is slightly sweet but more like the plainer southern style than the cake like one that I usually prefer. It still was a more than acceptable side. There are different sauces in containers on the tables --- either sweet or hot. I didn't need to add any to my food, but that's a personal choice. My husband got their rib tips special. He chose collard greens for his side. He said they were very good. His special also came with corn bread. The rib tips were tender and meaty, although one piece was a little too fatty for me. He added a bit of their sweet BBQ sauce to the meat. I think I might get this special, however, next time. For dessert, he got their peach cobbler. He said it was good, although they use canned peaches. He'd wanted banana pudding, but they were out of it. I have a vague memory that one of the older women (long passed) used to make the pudding every now and then. You had to be there just at the right time before they'd sell out. I'm glad we came back to have lunch here. It's been a while since we were in this area of town, and now it won't be such a long time between visits.

I saw someone's post on another social platform for this place so I figured that we'd give it a try today. I ask glad that I did! It was amazing!!! I had the beef brisket with macaroni and cheese and collard greens. I also had some potato salad. EVERYTHING, I repeat EVERYTHING was so good. The collard greens had just the right amount of vinegar (I like my greens tangy) and the mac and cheese was creamy and awesome. The brisket had the right amount of fat and lean and was so very tasty. Hubby got the two meat combo plate with St. Louis ribs and chicken, mac and cheese, cole slaw. I got the St. Louis ribs, mac and cheese, and collard greens for my mom. We also got a large potato salad and large collard greens to share. The food portion sizes were great. The taste was great. I highly recommend this place if you want awesome BBQ.

It was quiet when I got there, but it started to fill up shortly after I arrived. The menu was quite extensive, but I didn't want to eat too much food before hitting the mat. There was an option to place the order in person or electronically. I chose to speak with someone, so I could get some inside info. I decided to go with the brisket sandwich and the cheddar jalapeno cornbread. The food came out quickly and looked amazing. Before I added any of their many sauces, I tried the brisket by itself. The meat wasn't over seasoned, and was full of smoky goodness. And it was extremely tender, but not falling apart. Even if you didn't have teeth, you would still have enjoyed it. And the sandwich was packed full of brisket. The cornbread was crumbly and light, with a little kick from the jalapenos. I really enjoyed the experience, the staff, and the food. I'll be back when I have a little more time, so I can try even more things on the menu

This time we decided to give it a try. Around 11am, I decided to stand in line ...... 30 minutes later, I finally got to place an order. I got a half order of ribs (half rack) for $20 and a side of mac n cheese ($5). The ribs were delicious..moist, well marinated, nicely done...just wonderful...it was worth the wait. Mr Bill BBQ goes around several farmer's markets in the area during specific days of the week. Please check their website for location and dates. The two people working the booth were slow and they could have made the process a bit more efficient (like if you just want a pork sandwich, you don't have to wait for the people in front of you to get their ribs cooked and done, since the pulled pork is sitting in the warming dishes and all the need to do is to scoop it out...so the entire ordering and fulfilling of orders could be more expedite). Still the food is great !
