This is one of the more central stations, so there's a plethora of people that are on the platform. The GO train itself is a pleasant ride in. Decent seating, clean and not that long of a ride from Cooksville into Union (if there are no delays - don't get me started..) My only real beef with this line (and the reason for a missing star) is the crappy, limited schedule. The last train from Union is just after 7pm! If I work late, I'm then forced to take the bus or an Uber home. The lakeshore line runs until 1:30am - c'mon GO, give us more flexibility!! In ending, I have to say that my favourite part of the whole GO train experience is watching the few nuts running at full speed off the train and into their cars to beat the others, haha. CHOO CHOO!!

The station is wheelchair accessible and has a ticket booth, seats, and basic amenities, and it's easy to navigate. Parking is available but fills up fast during rush hours. One of the nicest things about this station is its location--you can step outside and be just minutes from Port Credit's shops, restaurants, and lakeside parks.

We went west on Amtrak and had to board at Depew [Buffalo] to continue westward to Chicago, then transfer/board another westbound train to the West Coast. Good to see this has been updated so we can now easily board in Niagara Falls!! Thanks Amtrak!!

The station is well-maintained and it's going through construction at the moment. There's a TTC kiosk if you needed help from an employee and there are self-serve reload machines available to reload your Presto card.

Continuing my tour of Toronto's metro, today we rode the train to St. Patrick station. St. Patrick…read moreis on the Yong-University Line (aka "Line 1") of the metro and is between Queen's Park (towards Vaughan) and Osgoode (towards Finch). The station is named for nearby St. Patrick's Church. It is located under University Avenue at Dundas Street and the station does feature a free wifi network. For me, it was quite close to Chinatown. As with several other stations, St. Patrick has a center platform which means that the doors of the train will open on the left. The station does have access for handicapped and I was able to ride an escalator from the platform level to the ticketing level and then stairs for me to the surface. This is pretty major GO station, so it has a large number of bus routes and it's own train line…read morealong with trains that go all the way to Georgetown/Mt Pleasant to the west and all trains/buses ending at Union to the East. There's a lot of parking spots available and you need to arrive very early (8am or earlier) in order to get a good spot. There's a second parking lot too that some people might not know about as it requires a further drive on Steeles and then a double back to the south side of the station. A very big negative for the station is the lack of a central board that indicates what buses leave from which of the bus stops and form which of the 4 platforms the train would arrive/depart (but since there's only one line, you're pretty safe just joining the crowd that's already on the platform). The bus stops have their own signs indicating their destinations, but this requires one to walk all the way to the stops to figure stuff out. And there is a small electronic board well above eyesight level under the big green "GO" sign indicating the train platform, but it's hard to see and does not help once you're actually in the station. Other than that, there's a small commuters cafe in the terminal that serves coffee and snacks (never used it though). You can get downtown either taking the bus/train all the way down to Union or taking the bus on the 401 to Yorkdale/York Mills. Keep in mind though, as the 401 bus frequently uses a stop outside the actual Bramalea GO station (stops at the south east corner of Bramalea and Steeles instead) Overall it's a good hub for travel to go downtown as service starts around 5am and goes on till 11 or 12 at night, with the last bus from downtown leaving Union at 1:30am to get here. As with most stations, AVOID rush hour! If you can spare it, take the 9:20 train down and aim to return on the 6:50 train back up. Both a far more pleasant ride than all the other times!
