NJ EZ Pass has many issues and customer service is totally helpless. There was one occassion that my transponder was read in Turnpike locations (entry and exit) although I was not there. I offered proof why this was an error but NJ EZ Pass customer service declined to accept it and refused to reverse the charge after three complaints. When I decided to close the account, I followed all instrutions. NJ EZ Pass never acknowledged receipt of my transponder sent with tracking service. I know they received it. They continued charging me service fee after my closing request, charged me unclear amount for not returning transponder and refunded me only $9. Then, they terminated access to my online account so I could not download last statement and see all charges in detail. I did not loose much money but what is astounding is the blatant lack of customer service. BTW, all communication happens only through the portal - there is no documentation by email. I suggest everyone to screen shot or PDF print any communication. I would aplaud class action.

Tours start every hour on the hour and last about 60 minutes. Call or check online for exact times as they change throughout the year. It's a very beautiful historic building, second oldest continuous use state capitol in the USA. The tour took us all over the building and was great. Free parking in the capitol garage. They also had a cafeteria there but we didn't try it. Worth a stop if you're in the area and have time.

The employee that I worked with (Caucasian female, brunette, late 40s, attractive) was incredibly thorough in going over the renewal process to the point of it being slightly overwhelming. Nonetheless, I was able to complete the application renewal process in a matter of minutes, as well as obtain my passport photo at a cost of $15. I'm not sure if the cost of the two pictures (one was an extra) is on the high end of things when it comes to passport pictures, but I wanted to get everything done quickly so that I could send my passport + renewal application directly to Philadelphia for processing. What's convenient about the the Mercer County Connection is that they'll provide you with a USPS envelope + labeling (especially to expedite shipping), as well as the location itself being adjacent to the Acme Save-On grocery store where you can purchase the $170.00 money order for $0.99. I didn't have a checkbook handy at the time, so this location came in handy at the absolute right time. For those that didn't want to pay the $15 for the passport photo, you can go across the street to the CVS Pharmacy or WalGreen's (I forget which one) to see if its cheaper. And of course, the post office is about 1.5 miles down the road in a small strip mall adjacent to Applebee's on Rte. 33. Altogether, I have much to thank the Mercer County Connection for. I greatly appreciate their organization in helping me mail out an expedited passport package to the US State department.

Maybe if they lease out a few of the offices to help defray the ever rising tariffs, but I kid of course. I remember when the township library was housed here, but as the collection of books expanded, a larger building was needed. A cynical person might say that this was also another ploy to increase taxes. You can also come here to get a passport or visa, pay your sewer bill( that somehow is not part of that already too high property tax bill) get building permits, and find out why your dbag neighbors are complaining about the length of your lawn. I imagine the mayor has a sweet office here as well, where she can come to get away from the stress of all those ribbon cuttings and photo ops. Now that I'm reflecting on all of this, I'm probably being generous with the third star.

This US post office is okay. Majority of the time, they only have two people working behind the…read morecounter. Rare occasions, it's three people. They're friendly. The male staff who work there is friendlier. The line can get long, like most post office. They open 8am but don't open the door until 8:05am. Still go 10 minutes early since there are a few people waiting at the lobby for the door to open.
