Our experience with Divine Water Refiners and its president, Michael E. Best, was extremely disappointing and, unfortunately, consistent with many other reviews. Mr. Best came to our home shortly after we purchased the property. I informed him that I had just returned from a U.S. foreign post after many years overseas and was still in the middle of the process of an international move. We explained that we were focused on other priorities and did not have time to sit down for a water system presentation at that moment, but that we would be open to speaking with him in a few weeks. Instead of being understanding, he became rude and unprofessional. He refused to speak with my wife and insisted on only addressing me. I stopped what I was doing to hear him out, but when I told him we weren't ready yet and asked him to follow up in two weeks, his response was that speaking with us was "a complete waste of his time." Ironically, he was the one wasting ours. This kind of high-pressure, dismissive, and disrespectful behavior seems to be a pattern, judging from other reviews. Instead of offering information and allowing potential customers to make an informed decision, he resorts to bullying tactics. All I can add is he was fortunate to scamper out of our gated community before the Sheriff could arrive. He drove onto our property uninvited and continued his obnoxious, arrogant, high-pressure used car sales tactics. His product might be the best -- who really knows for sure -- but his disrespectful behavior towards those he claims to be helping negates any potential benefits. read more

The rudest sales I have EVER met in my life....Mike. He knocked on my door TWICE in a month to try and sell me a water softener system and both time ended up screaming at me because I was not interested. Honestly a horrible guy who should not be working in the public. read more

We met with them, and they came in and tested our water. Public water in Flordia isn't great, and neither is some of the bottled water we had been purchasing. Did they want to close the deal, yes, but I get it. Their solution is comprehensive and their desire to help is genuine. I see some negative reviews, but they are all based on sales style vs outcome. To those that are considering water treatment solutions, avoid Divine Water Refiners! We asked the President of Divine Water Refiners (Michael East) to come out and assess our water quality and to propose how his company could remediate any quality issues that they would find. Michael's son (Tyler) came out while I was on a business call and met with my wife. Tyler was rude and disrespectful to my wife when only she was available to meet. He badgered my wife repeatedly that this was a waste of his time and that I was unavailable due to unexpected work obligation and refused to provide a quote. Tyler resembled a rude and high-pressure salesperson trying to force my wife in making a decision to buy their product without considering the information they provided. After feeling harassed, my wife asked him to leave and while he was leaving, he impolitely said that this was a complete waste of his time. When I inquired with our 9-year-old son about the ordeal, he said that the mean man was rude to mom. Immediately following my business meeting, my wife advised me of what happened, so I called Tyler's father (Michael) to advise him of what happened. Within 15 seconds of my call, Mr. East claimed that my wife was the problem, she was rude to his son, and abruptly hung up on me. Anyone looking for a water assessment, I would recommend that you avoid Divine Water Refiners unless you are looking to be bullied into something by bad-mannered men. read more

We recently moved into a home in a new community. The owner Mike Best knocked on the door and said he would like to set up an appointment to test our water as he was selling water filtration devices in our community. He came a few days later as scheduled, tested the water and gave us a price. He gave me the name of a reference in our community, asked me to call him, and we agreed he would call me at 5 pm. He did not call. A few days later he came to my door and I let him know that we would be leaving in a few weeks and that with moving into a new home we had other things we had to spend money on right now. He replied that we should be putting clean water as our number one priority and that he would take additional money off the price. I let him know that wasn't the issue, that we planned on using him, just not at the moment. He then proceeded to tell me that I was lying, and that because my husband had a stoke that he wasn't in his right mind (because my husband didn't seem interested at the meeting). I don't know who this man thinks he is that he can call a potential customer a liar and disrespect my husband, but I wouldn't use this company if it was the last one around. I had read prior reviews where people said how rude he was but gave him the benefit of the doubt. They were right. Even though he was the one who came to our door and sought us out, he told me we did nothing but waste his time. My advice... don't waste your time with this guy. read more

If I could I'd give this company a half star and that would only be out of pity. Don't waste your time on this company if they come around to your house knocking on your door. They're unprofessional & rude and I'm not talking some low level employee I'm talking the son of the Owner and the owner himself. They're nice to you until you say you're not interested in their expensive water filtration system, then suddenly they become very rude, acting like they don't want/need your business. Will knock on your door (even when you have a sign directing them not to!) to try to sell you their trash. When you open the door to tell them "not interested, and please read the sign that says to not know" old man will verbally attack you. When you ask what the company name is they'll hide the logo on their shirt with a clipboard. But other neighbors on my street were also verbally assaulted so they knew exactly who and with what company this person was from. Hope they go out of business soon and stay out of my neighborhood going forward, because nobody wants them! read more
