the best speech therapy place i could have ever taken my children, after multiple therapist told me my children were not teachable and this is just how they would be, divine speech continously gives me hope every session and i just honestly love them it feels like family going to them my kids love them, I've never encountered any unprofessional behavior from them , when I was referred to them from my kids doctor , divine speech told me they had a long waiting list which I was truly disappointed but staff ensured me that if I got my paperwork in immediately she would work with me, I got my paperwork back the very next day I don't play about getting any ounce of help for my kids to be successful im just blessed & truly thankful to ever have found this place Ms Chelsea is so kind and informative even if she has told you the information before she's going to tell you again to ensure us as parents that we understand. She also gave me homework to work with my baby and show me how to practice with him, I've never had this experience and we've been doing speech with other agencies for 9 years. My son that had a severe Speech Delay. He was referred to Divine Speech by his pediatrician. I am very picky about who I allow my family to see. I decided to try Divine Speech. I initially meet with Chelsea and she did my sons evaluation, she was pleasant, professional, and informative. Once the evaluation was completed she informed me that she would have my son see Ms. Dina because she believe that she would be a good fit for my son. Upon meeting with Ms. Dina I had some reservation because she expect no nonsense from my son, and I am a mother that wants to shield her son from the world. I will say it is coming up to one year since my son has been going to Divine and he has flourished, he is a different person, he is using sentences, he is engaged, he knows how to share, and play with others. The speech has done a one hundred and eighty degree turn. I will say Ms. Dina was the right person for him, she is amazing. I would recommend anyone to go and see Ms. Dina. She is stern, but kind. She continues to learn to perfect her craft by continuing her education. I am impressed by her. My interaction with Chelsea has also been good. She shares information with me on my sons condition and will offer suggestions. I will say everyone's experience will always be different. Trust your gut and do what is right for YOUR family. I can't say enough about Divine Speech Language Services. I absolutely loved watching Ms. Chelse work with the children. I took my grandchildren to be evaluated and couldn't believe how she was able to connect with them. She genuinely enjoys working with these babies and it shows. I am thankful that I was able to schedule an appointment with her. Her staff is awesome as well. I absolutely love divine speech language services for my 3 sons i faithfully attend each week for them to keep progressing whom are autistic my 3 sons are using their words now and are communicating in ways like never before due to being non verbal before they started divine speech language services...the therapists there do incorporate the parents into the process of engaging with your child on how to get your child to start using words...by sending home words you can start using with your child until the goal is met with your child, consistancy is key! This place is amazing... i have been getting the run around for my daughter for the last 6 years.. no one could tell me why my daughter couldnt speak and they just wanted to keep doing hearing tests on her... she went to divine speech 1 time and ms. Chelsea was able to diagnosis her with apraxia.. she explain to us what it was and told us what we needed to help her.. took her yesterday for her first appointment and my daughter comes out saying number two clearly.. it was the first time in 6 years i heard my daughter say two... i was so amazed and proud of her... i will continue to take her to divine speech to watch my daughter approve more... i would recommend everyone to come here read more

For a long time I came with my child to this place and everybody is nice and I like how they work. Because they work with compassion and at other places I've visited for therapy they work with 2-3 kids in the same room. At Divine Speech, its 1 child and one therapist. I am a licensed medical professional and I must say this is the worst experience I've ever had with a health care professional. The speech therapist, Chelsea, is very unprofessional and rude to put it mildly. When discussing my concerns (see below), she hung up the phone on me and would not take my return call. When I called back to the office phone number one minute later, I was told her "cell phone died and she now has kids in front of her". How convenient!?! Nonetheless, no return call. At Divine Speech, there was no continuity of care and my son was often passed around between therapists which I feel impacts his ability to have a successful outcome. The staff/therapist would switch therapist without even notifying the parent of the change or allow an opportunity to reschedule the appointment. One therapist (can't recall name) even mentioned that she just realized my son had a stuttering problem. That was absurd since that was the MAIN reason whey I actually seeked services. That comment let me know that she did not do her "homework" or look at the documentation from his prior sessions or initial evaluation OTHERWISE she would have known this information. I will not take my son back there and I would not recommend this place to anyone! read more
