It almost looks like the actual print was scanned and screen printed onto my arm. If you're thinking about getting some work done, I wouldn't hesitate to choose Jessica as your artist. Honestly, all of the artists there had some great examples in their sample books, and I went with Jessica based on some paw prints she had done and posted to social media, but you probably can't go wrong with anyone there. The studio itself was clean and the rooms were private (or at least mine was, as we were the only ones in there). This piercing shop is located inside of a strip mall that is somewhat a journey to find. You walk in and are met with basically what looks like a flea market but indoors! Angels Body Piercing is right at the front. I was so extremely nervous because my main concern with any piercing is cleanliness and sterilization. The last thing I wanted was an infection. Maria was absolutely amazing. Very clean! Changes gloves and a whole wipe down between customers as they should. You're given hand sanitizer to clean your hands. Your ears are properly cleaned with an alcohol swab. All jewelry is packed in their own small sterile packages. My first piercing I had since I was a baby was uneven. Despite that, Maria was able to make my new piercing nice and even! The pain was not bad at all. The earrings are screwed on so they don't get undone. She was quick and so very kind to my nervousness. Maria truly is the best and I would recommend her to anyone. I also appreciate that when I asked a few questions, she made it a point to tell my friend and I that they cannot answer any questions over the phone about the piercings. The reason being is that no pictures or videos are suffice- they want you to come in so they can carefully examine it and direct you as accurate as possble (such as if you must go seek medical attention). This shows to me that they truly care about their customers and are not dismissive and this policy is very ethical! Overall, I loved my experience. I'll be the first to admit- I originally thought it was shady from looking at it at first and was going to back out. I'm glad I didn't because they are all wonderful and they know what they're doing. I guess my only note would be the price point. I referred to their website which was great that it stated $25 per ear, with extra cost for different earrings. I chose to upgrade which added another $15 per ear. No problem. The only issue is that there's an additional cost if you use credit card, I wish this was disclosed on their website. About $10 for both ears. I also had thought that the piercing came along with the care kit that some places usually provide. That was another $25. Plus tip, which I felt was well deserved. All in all, it cost $127.80 which was way higher than I anticipated. Still, it was a great service, and I love my second ear piercing. I have no regrets. Please come support Angels Body Piercing! Gregory Charles was extremely professional, articulate, thorough, friendly, and honest. He expressed concern that my ears were shaped in a way that could change the way the piercing fit. I got them specifically as a hail Mary trying to help my migraines so how they looked was not my primary concern. He was very clear that there is no evidence that daith piercings help migraines. Greg was patient, spent a lot of time going back and forth with me deciding if I should get the piercing, and then choosing the right jewelry. Getting pierced was not nearly as scary or painful as people make it seem. Yes, the daith is uncomfortable to get pierced, and pain is different for everyone, but it was like a 5/10 for me maybe, and I'm not *that* tough. They are SO serious about being clean and sanitary that when I was leaving I dropped my hair clip on the floor. They picked it up for me and *sanitized it before giving it back*. I was done and leaving and it was just a hair clip. But that's how much they care. All these reviews about how clean and sanitary they are are not just hype. This place really lived up the the reviews. The jewelry was WAY MORE expensive than I expected. But, for the quality of experience I paid the higher prices. I felt kind of stuck to spend more money since you have to leave a daith in for a year so you want to like the ring you choose. But, no regrets. :) Parking is easy. Staff is friendly. Pink and frilly is everywhere, and I do mean everywhere. It's every girl's dream. So when my 8 year old had started begging to get her ears pierced it took me a good year and I finally relented. Enter, Claire's. Jennifer was very helpful in explaining the process as well as all of our earring options. She took her time and was gentle with my daughter. When she asked if my daughter would like to have two associates pierce her ears simultaneously, my daughter eagerly accepted. The finished product makes my daughter happy, which then makes me happy.
