There is a TON of space to decorate and warm up, so there is still a little inconsistency for the tone of the environment, but you will certainly notice some of the classic design comforts and staples that were carried over from the previous location. My massage therapist did some great work on some problem areas and always felt professional, yet personable, throughout. I had talked to Jenny about my previous hair situation (I had extensions and had no business having them), and she helped me understand what damage was done to my hair, the positives in the condition of my hair and how to get it where I wanted it to be again. She talked about all her trainings and her equipment that she uses for not only hair but facials, etc and I could tell that she genuinely loves alll things salon and spa! They both take time and do not rush through their work. The quality of the stylists is outstanding and the atmosphere is very positive and lively with good music. This is important if you require a 3 hour appointment as I do. Tim and Allie are both very receptive to ideas and positively encouraging change. When my daughter wanted a pixie cut and 2 stylists at our previous salon wouldn't do it and tried to talk her out of it, we decided to try Buzz. Tim was so excited to work through this style change with her and it made her very confident about this choice. The prices are a bit higher than some other local salons, but I will not go anywhere else. You get what you pay for - both in the services and the beautiful, wonderful experience.

I didn't have a specific stylist in mind, so I was matched up with Irina. I believe I called on a Wednesday and was able to get an appointment for a few days later. I was Irina's last appointment on a Saturday afternoon, but you never would have known. She was very friendly, listened to what I had to say, and gave lots of great advice. I left with the exact haircut I asked for. Have I been able to style it the way Irina did? Heck no. That requires talent I simply don't have. Irina taught me a lot about my hair - what to do with the random grays that make an appearance, the type of hair I have, etc. Seriously, what she taught me was totally worth the price paid; aside from the actual haircut itself. The salon is super clean and inviting. Lots of natural light, especially at Irina's station because of where she's located. They do sell hair products including Amika (which I personally like). I had no idea how much it was going to cost (around $75 with tip) for a women's cut, as prices aren't posted online. I suppose I could have asked when I scheduled my appointment, but it didn't really matter to me. I'm someone who gets her haircut 1x per year. Recommend. I'll definitely make a return visit.
