She was the first person I spoke to that actually seemed to care about making my wedding perfect and not just listing off all that they had to offer. She helped me pinpoint Jeff Richards as the ideal DJ for our ceremony and reception that were both held at our venue. We chose to employ Jeff Richards of Conway Entertainment. Jeff responded very quickly to all my emails and even bought a new song for me the day of my wedding because I emailed him the night before with a last minute change. Jeff was on time, dressed professionally and did exactly as I told him which was "do your job" because I knew he would know what to play to keep the crowd going all night (which they did!) and I didn't want to pick a millions songs myself and handcuff him as to what he HAD to play. The dance floor was hopping all night and it's all because of Jeff! We could not have been happier working with Conway Entertainment, they are truly professionals who know how to throw a party!

I booked him well in advance and a week or less before our event he sounded like he had forgotten about us on the phone. He had no clue how many people, our address or the date of the event! It was less than a week before our event when I called him to be sure he had everything he needed from me and he sounded like he didn't remember me and when I actually asked if he did remember us he said "oh yeah sure". He was supposed to arrive at 3:00. An hour later, nothing. I called. He said he had been emailing me. Emailing me???? How about a damn phone call? He was emailing me the day of because he didn't know our address... again!!! The day of!!!! So now we're in panic mode. He said he'd be here in an hour and actually said, "don't worry,no one will notice"!!!! His workers show up (without him), an hour and a half plus late, we eat and hour and a half later than planned and it was horrible. The ribs were tough, not "fall off the bone", the potato and pasta salad tasted like vinegar, the corn looked wrinkled and microwaved (I chose not to have any but was told was horrible/chewy), our garden salad wasn't even on the table and even if it were, there was no salad dressing and... AND, half the food was missing!!! We ordered the day long barbecue and didn't even get any hot dogs, hamburgers or Italian sausage!!! So, so much for feeding the kids. What a shame!!! We did tip his employees very well. I gave this 1 star only because I had to in order to post this review.

The ballrooms are gorgeous and she chose the one with the stunning atrium glass. It seated 165 people while still leaving plenty of dancing room, DJ booth, and food stations. The cocktail hour was indoor/outdoor on the patio and it was perfect. Now let me talk about our most favorite things. First off, the staff, namely Serena. She is fantastic! She was extremely helpful in working out the details for the event and her communication was top notch through the whole year of planning. On the day of the event, Serena seemed to have eyes and ears everywhere noticing any little detail that needed addressing, taking care of it herself calmly and confidently, and when needed, discreetly asking about a little decision or two for which she needed my input. She also took video and photos during the event. While waiting for the professional photographs for weeks, this was such a nice surprise to receive! Emily was her assistant and very willing and helpful as well. Second, the food. Wow, the food here is just delicious! The choices are abundant and everything was just mouthwatering. It is one of the big reasons we chose this venue and it didn't disappoint. The carving station and mac n cheese were highlights. They offer so many fun add on's like late night snack and ice cream stations which since there is not a noise ordinance to worry about, are nice additions to a reception that can go later into the night. Lastly, the fireworks. So, my daughter had her heart set on these and to be honest, my husband and I questioned whether it would be worth it or not. Let me tell you it was worth it, SO worth it. It was a professional show that rivaled that of a lot of professional 4th of July shows! It was spectacular and the photos taken of the bride and groom with huge fireworks going off right above them are awesome! We don't have the pro ones yet but even the cell phone ones are great so we can only imagine. It was an add on we did not regret as our guests were truly in awe. We had many come up to us to share it was a top wedding they had ever attended. Our daughter hugged us at the end of the night thanking us for her fantasy wedding.
