We had a lot of complicated aspects to our wedding and Jeff was there for us every step of the way, happy to work through some of our sillier requests and giving great, honest feedback whenever we asked him for it. If you need him to freestyle and come up with his own playlist, he can do that. If you have specific music cues or transitions that you need someone to nail, he can do that as well. When I first was contacted by Conway Entertainment after filling out my online request, I spoke with Diana Belles the operations manager. We talked for about a half an hour about how my to-be-husband and I met, what our wedding we would be like and what kind of music we liked. She was the first person I spoke to that actually seemed to care about making my wedding perfect and not just listing off all that they had to offer. She helped me pinpoint Jeff Richards as the ideal DJ for our ceremony and reception that were both held at our venue. We chose to employ Jeff Richards of Conway Entertainment. Jeff responded very quickly to all my emails and even bought a new song for me the day of my wedding because I emailed him the night before with a last minute change. Jeff was on time, dressed professionally and did exactly as I told him which was "do your job" because I knew he would know what to play to keep the crowd going all night (which they did!) and I didn't want to pick a millions songs myself and handcuff him as to what he HAD to play. I actually made a playlist (4 page word document) of songs I wanted for the pre ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, etc. I know how crazy I sound but music is huge to me. My wife and I wanted to secure a higher end DJ service for our 35th anniversary a year from now. These folks website shows they do all parties and list a dozen DJ's working for them. With great ratings we figured we'd get them; cost for us really wasn't an issue, we'd never had a party and wanted to do it right. Imagine my surprise when they Emailed back stating they were sorry, but they were already booked for the date and time selected.....a year out....a dozen DJ's...Really? OOPS, guess not. I waited a week and had a friend send them a request to do a wedding at an upscale local venue for the same date and time. They Emailed right back their congratulations on the engagement and of course were eager to service the wedding. I can appreciate a businesses right to want to maximize their revenue for high demand time slots, and their right to charge much more to serve during those times for any parties. So how about giving the customer that option before blowing off their 'low revenue' affair with a lie, knowing that they'll fill that time slot with a 'high revenue' wedding in the future. I think if these folks told us a high cost based on the time slot chosen we'd have paid what would have made it right for them. Ethically challenged! read more

If you do not book this company you will be disappointed! My family has used this vendor on multiple occasions. First, Diana is so accommodating, patient and funny! I asked a million questions and she answered every one! After my regular DJ was booked, we went with Fernando. From the first meeting, we knew Fernando Bustamante was the man for the job. His energy is through the roof and he knew exactly what I was trying to do with the reception. He listened to my concerns and found a way to make them disappear! He was responsive through text with every question or addition that I had. When I got to my venue, I was surprised with a second entertainer, Nate Miller, whom I absolutely love!!! I was so lucky to have both Fernando and Nate for my ceremony and reception! They went above and beyond, coordinating the entire ceremony and the reception. They kept us on schedule for the formalities and the music was killer!! People are still talking about my DJs!! I could not have made it through the day without them, seriously. They were attentive and checked with me numerous times to see if I needed anything and to ask how everything was going. The service I received was well worth double the price. The DJ was OK at our wedding. He supplied much needed equipment to my niece who was singing at our ceremony, and played from a list of music we gave him. I'm only giving 3 stars because he announced every song we chose, like "the bride and groom chose 'sugar' for their cake cutting song" which I found totally unnecessary. He played songs and bands I suggested to him, to give him an idea of the types of music we wanted, but really didn't diversify it enough to be effective. I had hoped he would infuse more current pop music I'm not as familiar with, but instead he played literally only the music on my list and it really made the party feel a little odd. I'm kicking myself for being too specific with him about what we liked because I really do like a much wider variety then I felt was played, and I wished he would have used more of his own professional experience in the song choices of what gets people dancing, rather then going down my list song by song. For that, I could have used a Spotify playlist and saved some money. The groom was happy though. If you hire them, just let them do their jobs, and don't make my mistake of being too specific. read more

We decided last minute (2 days before) to hire a DJ for my father in law's surprise 60th birthday party. Conway Entertainment was the first to get back to me with availability on such short notice and boy am I glad they did! Diana got back to me right away to discuss the event and what our needs were. She told me that Brian would be working the event that that he would get in touch with me to discuss details. He also contacted me right away and then followed up with me the morning of the event to make sure everything was in order. He showed up early to set up and played music within the genre that we had discussed (50s, 60s, 70s and 80s). He was great! He was good at getting the crowd involved, he had props that he handed out to everyone and he played songs as people requested him. He was dressed professionally and did a fantastic job. I wasn't sure how it would be since we booked it such last minute but I feel like this company went above and beyond to make us happy! Their prices are great as well and far exceeded the rates of competitors by about $200 from my research. I would definitely hire them again and request Brian for future party needs! read more

I highly recommend Conway Entertainment!!!! Me and my husband got married on NYE!!! Fernando was our DJ and boy did he exceed our expectations!! He nailed it! He went above and beyond to make sure me and my husbands music details were met! We went into Conway about 3 weeks before the wedding and sat down with Fernando and he was fun, excited and ready to "WOW" us! We had couple of special requests that he just did an awesome job executing. Being NYE we wanted a party and we sure got one!
