I was greeted by a friendly person at the front desk, introduced to Amanda and her apprentice- Alley and had a lovely few hours with them as they did their best to fix my hair. I left feeling "heard" and cared for and a few weeks after when I wasn't sure about something I called in and immediately they both went out of their way to educate me on the coloring process and how we would "together" get my hair back to where it needed to be. Spring has sprung starting with this very big upgrade! I went from looking like Ozzy Osbourne to a bouncing blonde curly girly happy go lucky (not looking to get lucky but it could help if I wanted to)... As a professional myself I appreciate all the top notch service, attention and especially skills required to do such an extensive turn around in color. The Staffs were all exceptional. From the phone-in to the check out and the art work of Amanda and skilled apprentice Allie. Such patience, delicate handling, knowledge of products used and also (yes I highly recommend the great products) sold for maintenance and care. The worst place to go get your haircut. we took my autistic son to get his hair cut there which we…read morehave done prior and they messed up but they gave us a free coupon so that they could fix it next time he had decided on a haircut where the top was long (a little longer then usual) and the sides were short because he likes to play with his hair and twirl it around his fingers which is just a sensory thing from his autism. we showed her a picture of what he wanted and said we didn't know if his hair was quite long enough but to just keep the length he had she said no you don't want it long like that to him to tried to convince him that he didn't want it which is exactly what they did the time before I was sitting and watching as she was cutting his hair and I'm seeing her cut it short and I'm saying that's too short she's pretending like she doesn't hear me but she hears me because I can see your head moving around as if she hears me and then at the end she acts like it's completely fine looked at me and saying it's still to long, I said no that's too short he wanted a longer hair length also my son told me she was mumbling under her breath at us saying she didn't wanna argue with us cause it was fine. now he can't have it long he wanted it long to get highlights to which she said oh u can still highlight it cause it's still long (that would be a waste of money) and he plays with his hair, now he can't do all of that. And then as we turned to leave she tried to hand us back the exact same coupon that we gave them and said this is for another time as if it was no big deal and we shouldn't worry about it. I told her I'm not taken it I crumpled it up I threw it in the garbage and I left and I'm never going back. What I find appalling is the fact that they cannot be open to the fact that there are people coming in there who have disabilities so my son needs his hair long so he can curl it around his finger that is his self soothing mechanism which he does to sleep and he cant do that now

I came with several pictures I talked to her about how I wear my hair and that I use a larger barrel curling iron as well as my hair condition. She cut the top so short that my curling iron will not fit (she used a tiny curling iron in the top and front of my hair). My hair was long but now the back is 4 inches shorter in the centre back compared to the sides. I have to wait for my hair to grown out before I have it fixed or get it cut alot shorted to have it evened out. Because Tracy didnt fully dry my hair when I lleft the salon and its curly I really couldnt tell about the back and the front not like you can glue it back on but when itt fully dried I could see the difference in lenghts and layers. I called got her answering machine left a message. She called back the following monday wanted me to come in so she could recut it I told her she will never cut my hair again, she offered to refund my money by EMT I have yet to receive it I asked her to pay for a smaller curling iron she said no. For now I have wear my hair up in a clip until it growns out which could take months because I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer a few days before Tracy cut my hair and she knew about it. She also didnt wear her mask a good amount of time, she had it pulled under her chin

You would think I would have learned. I have tried 3 different "stylists" at this "salon" and they…read moredon't know how to cut hair. The first one, never remembers how you style your hair, opens her own salon and gives everyone the same hair cut. The second one doesn't stop talking, cuts hair so-so and does not have clean equipment. The third one never cuts your hair the way you want it (or let it grow), will give you an "angry chop" if you criticize her. This was my worst hair cut by far. I cried when I went home and I cried the next day as well. I know it grows back, but why be so mean with a pair of shears? Cutting off 2 inches?? You said you were trimming a "little". BUYER BEWARE!! Don't criticize them...they will chop off your hair. Don't get me going on a pedicure either. BTW...NO STARS!!
