To finish off Ana from Admissions states she called at left two voicemail with a date to pick up my brother belongings. I never received a miss call or a voicemessage. I live 6 hours away. When I tried to pick up stuff they said it had to be Monday to Friday with arrangements. I didn't know. Anyways they have thrown my brother's belongings away. The occupational therapists would schedule an appointment but then cancel on the day and this was a month from when he got home. He was due 6 visits and he received 2 then they just sent out a review nurse, who said he didn't need them any more! Talking with the coordinator was a joke because either he was non responsive to my calls or just not there. In other words don't use this service if you want your loved one needs in-home help!!

Jaja (the care coordinator) delayed what should have been a routine urinalysis by twenty days. Her behavior was unprofessional, unpleasant and uncaring 100%. I asked for her supervisor Josie to call me which never happened. Today I finally got to speak with Ena, the Director of Medical Care only to be "redirected " to another home health agency. Again, 100% unprofessional behavior. If the director of medical care penalizes a patient for advocating for her well being and health, imagine how the rest of the staff behave. I asked to speak with Ulysses (the director of this agency) and I was not able to do so. I would never recommend this agency and if I could give them zero stars I would. But that's not an option.

My mom had been receiving home health as well as caregiving from 1st meridian since end of Aug 2021…read moreuntil discharged yesterday. My mother had 4 brain surgeries in an 8 month period. Her last one was a success to remove tumor in jun 2021. The home health team of occupational therapist Alissa, Stacey, her physical therapist Alex, speech therapist Andrea and nursing staff Alyce, Hersey and Anita all were all just absolutely incredible with my mother. My mother went from bed bound to walking with a walker and doing more day to day activities for herself. This journey has been a miracle and we are excited to see more independence for my mother as she now will be going to an outpatient program. A big thank you too to our amazing caregiver Denise Banuelos who has been along my side since September. Mom would not have made these amazing strives without your loving heart and dedication to her recovery. Thank you for being you. You are one of a kind. Furthermore, their caretakers leave on emergency calls and abandon vulnerable clients for hours. In our case, the client was left stranded in a wheelchair without any immediate attempt by the company to send a replacement. Specifically, she was left entirely alone from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, completely unable to move around and with no food or water within reach. She sat stranded for five hours in a state of severe panic and distress until a replacement employee was finally sent to assist her. This is an incredibly callous and dangerous practice. We are actively looking for a different care provider.

I don't like being touched by many people and that has made finding a massage therapist difficult in the past. It's hard not to feel relaxed around someone with such positive energy, especially when as soon as she walks in that energy is felt abundantly throughout my home.
