Diva Royale Boston Hennesy's Upstairs

Celebrate Your birthday Bachelorette party with this amazing queens You can find your favorite celebrity right there

A few of the queens.
April N.

I'm no stranger to Diva Royale in NYC. This however was my first time attending the Atlantic City show. My girlfriend just got engaged and we thought this would be a fun way to celebrate. I'm glad to report the show there was just as good as the one in NY. I can't remember the hostess that took care of us but she was such a sweetie. Between the delicious food high quality drinks and of course the outstanding show it was worth every penny. We laughed so much! Every one of the drag queens did an excellent performance. I love getting to see the different celebrity impersonations at this location. But the best part really is the ambiance and customer service. Although they had many bridal parties They still really took care of us and were so accommodating. I look forward to going back and seeing what "celebrity" they'll have next.

Chicken and pasta dinner

We had an awesome time here Saturday night for my friend's bachelorette, but it was pretty different from what we expected from the website. $55 for a show and dinner was totally worth it, and we had our bride publically embarrassed for an extra $50. Expectation: 3 course dinner with menu posted online that included things like truffle mac and cheese, salmon, steak, chicken, etc. with options for us to choose from. Reality: No choice (we had to make a few calls and wait for our vegetarians to be accommodated), a dinky green salad, a mediocre chicken and pasta meal (spinach and mushrooms for the vegetarians), and a small chocolate mousse tart dessert. Tasted fine, but nothing to write home about. It is convenient to not have to rush through dinner to make an 8pm show. Expectation: The "best celebrity impersonations", with divas like Dolly Parton, Cher, Joan Rivers, and Michael Jackson (as advertised on the website). Reality: Some awesome lip syncs to Christina Aguilera and Lady Gaga (slay, Jenna Tall, slay), but not really a show full of celebrity impersonations. Don't get me wrong, these queens were extremely talented, but it was more of a regular drag show than a full on snatch game (watch RPDR if you don't get this reference). Expectation: A lively atmosphere with lots of people, a parade of celebrity look alike drag queens, a large stage, and an awesome show. Reality: A much more intimate experience with 2 long tables in the middle, only one other party, 3 drag queens, and the show taking place on the floor just a few feet from us, with the queens coming by to dance with us (and accept dollar bills tucked into their cleavage, underwear, whatever). I can't stress how much fun we had and how talented the queens are: gorgeous makeup, sickening dance moves, elaborate costumes and an all around fun time. The highlight was definitely stuffing our bachelorette with dollar bills and having ChaChi Divine dance around her to get them all. The bartenders and DJ were great too and kept the alcohol flowing. Definitely a great event, conveniently located on the 3rd floor of the Tropicana, in the Anthem Lounge. Highly recommend for a bachelorette party, unique bday, girls night, etc. Call ahead if you have food restrictions and definitely get the hot seat if you're celebrating one person!

SO HAPPY that we went here for my bachelorette! One of the the best drag shows I've ever been to.

Let me preface this by saying that I'm a huge fan of drag shows and I've been to quite a few (including Lips in NYC). We went here for my bachelorette party and I wasn't sure what to expect. The website makes it seem like it's always the same characters and that it's more of a chain/scripted show. I was hesitant to book because of this, but luckily, the website is totally misleading! None of the characters shown on the site were represented (but like I said, I was happy about that). Rather than Joan Rivers, Dolly Parton, Michael Jackson, etc., we got Beyonce, Britney Spears, Adele, and Christina Aguilera. This was a positive thing for me, but of course may be a bummer for others (one couple left early on and never came back). Anyways, the venue is SO COOL and super intimate. There were about 5 groups of people there and we were all surrounding the dance floor area. The hostess was AMAZING and took the time to go around and chat with each bachelorette party. There were three queens total but they all did at least 2 performances. In between each performance, the hostess would talk for a while or take a break to let us get another drink from the bar. Every performance was fantastic and they would use the whole dancefloor and come up and interact with you. I even got a lap dance! ;) Such a fun and unforgettable experience. We had a BLAST!!!

My best friend and I went to the Diva Royale 8:00 pm show on 2/29/20 to just have a fun girl's night out since we're both moms and live in separate states. I bought VIP tickets which got us a cute little cocktail table right in front of the stage. The host was fabulous (Misery was her name) she was entertaining and extremely comical. The other girls in the show were equally as entertaining with their gorgeous outfits and dancing. They did such a great job engaging the audience. There were two bachelorette parties and a couple birthdays there and they brought those guests on stage and had some fun with them. I'd highly recommend this show, it was the most fun I've had in a long time. Bring cash as they appreciate tips!

Then tried to boast about how much money they make!

I'm from NYC and booked a a trip to boston with my girlfriends. Paid $55 for a ticket to the show IN BOSTON, and 3 days before got notice show was moved 20 mins from the location of the show. As an out of towner, unaware of surrounding areas and a young female I no longer felt comfortable attending. I requested a refund and was met with dsimissiveness, nastiness, and THREATS from the "customer service" number that had a NJ area code - even more sketchy. Included are screenshots where in response to me saying I'd leave a bad review, this person took the opportunity to google search me, find my job, and threaten my job and to post that I THE CUSTOMER was being unreasonable. I am calling the Boston Police! This is NOT A SAFE PLACE TO GO or give your money to! Absolutely unreal he even tried to say I was threatening them first - when in print all I did was ask for my money back.

What an amazing Drag Queen Dinner show!

It was left up to me to coordinate my soon to be sister-in-law's Bachelorette party, I wanted to this l outside the box for her and since I had been to one in NYC I decided that I was going to book her bachelorette party in Atlanic city and make a weekend of it. The drag preferences were amazing! The impersonated celebrities and you almost couldn't even tell ! The food was amazing , it's was a perfect evening. Thank you Diva Roayle, we will be back again!

This is the ACTUAL VENUE instead. Side alley entrance off the boardwalk. Dark bad lighting inside.

Losing money playing the slots would have been more entertaining and less uncomfortable than this show was.

Today I attended the Downbeach Seafood Festival in Ventnor with my family and I am here to tell you…read moreit was one of the better ways to spend a few hours on Earth. According to its official description this annual festival gathers together seafood vendors, local restaurants, arts and crafts, live music, and cooking demonstrations right by the water. The website promises food, fun, and community, and for once the advertisement was not a lie. We parked in the free lot on Wellington Avenue and the organizers had arranged for jitneys to shuttle us back and forth with the precision of a German train schedule. This was a good omen. If human beings can cooperate to move strangers from one place to another with such efficiency then perhaps there is still hope for us. The first thing we saw was the South Pacific Island Dancers performing at 11:30. They were graceful, rhythmic, and most important, they engaged with the crowd so no one felt like a passive observer. At noon Yani the Band took the main stage and provided the sort of unoffensive musical background that makes you want to linger among food stalls a bit longer than perhaps is healthy. And what food. My son ate nachos from Tacocat and declared them righteous. I tried fried clams from Ike's Famous Crab Cakes. The serving was modest in size, which was a shame, but the clams were thick with meat and tasted like they still remembered the sea. The homemade roasted tomato tartar sauce and horseradish sauce were so good they could be bottled and sold as souvenirs. My wife ate a scallop roll from Scallop Shack Farms and looked happier than she has in a month. Eventually she simply ditched the Texas Toast so she could completely enjoy those perfect little discs unmolested by distracting gluten. My oldest son spoke glowingly for the ham and cheese croquettes from Del Toro Tapas. He would have handed out pamphlets if they had any. For drinks we experimented. Pirate Pete's sodas came in metal mugs that you could refill all day long. The concept is so simple it feels like a parable. We also bought a cucumber refresher and a lemonade from Squeezies. The lemonade was squeezed to order and tasted like summer itself had been liquefied. Between bites and sips we wandered among the vendors and stopped to talk with an artist from Surfboard Taxidermy. He makes sculptures from discarded surfboards. To look at his work is to realize that waste can become beauty if given the right pair of hands. It was a reminder that while some people turn trash into political careers, others turn it into art. Bless the latter. It cost us ten dollars apiece because we bought tickets in advance. Fifteen at the door would still be a bargain. The sun shone, the air was kind, the food was plentiful, and the company of strangers was pleasant. That is the best of civilization in miniature and I will not forget it.

The fee to get in was $10 online, $15 at the door. We had planned to take the very clearly marked free parking shuttle but the day started off strong with us pulling up to a spot right by the entrance. There is a lot going on, and it was all good stuff. They do have a schedule on their website if you want to catch the fire dancing, hula dancers or live music shows, all were great. There are limited chairs but many people brought their own. I might do that next time. We did all the tasting options. The Oysters were $25 . You got two oysters from each of the 6 farmers. This was so much fun! All of the oysters were amazing and all had a delicious mignonette options. Our favorite was the Salty Soul. Not only were they delicious but we loved the family vibe and they were fun to talk to as they cheered me on to try my very first raw oyster! Beer tasting was $10 to get a small cup of 12 beers. Each brewery had two options Favorite beer was Farm Truck Baked Sale. It was a smoked helles lager. Strong runner up was MudHen. Chowder tasting was a $10 donation to the food pantry. We didn't even get through all the chowders. There were at least 20. It was a blind tasting so you didn't know who made what. Favorites were the creamy crab and the one with corn sprinkled on top. There were so many additional food and beverage options including a Coke tent that gave out free Coke products all day long! I was shocked that many vendors had food under $10. In addition to all of the fun activities we really met some awesome people. All of the vendors and the other guests mingled at shared tables and while online. Lines were minimal and food value and fun times were plentiful. This truly was a great day and I would highly recommend this event. I hope to return for years to come and bring friends to share in the fun!

The new nightclub, WAV, was open that night. I had no interest in clubbing, but noticed an email offering free and discounted cover. About a dozen people sat around Monkey Bar. A sign said that the dueling piano bar would be open at 10pm. Everything else appeared closed. Garces is no longer handling the catering. The website sucks so I don't know what the deal with the T Street food is. It should have been a lively, hot scene rather than a desolate ghost town. I'd love to be proved wrong with this review update, but for now I won't be holding my breath.

I went to the soft grand opening for this place held on the Thursday prior to the grand opening…read more My overall feeling about this place is meh. ...meh. They offered sample sizes of some of the food they plan to offer and it was nothing to write home about. In fact so much so that I'll leave the food details at just that. It's what I expect to be overpriced pub food (price list or menu wasn't given to us) and with several locations it didn't feel as if any actually offered a variety of food. Pub, pub, everywhere. The concept is there but T Street offers no form of originality that makes it worth going to in place of similar places. In fact, with the location in a mall I actually felt that the venue and placement was a bit awkward. While there is no place quite like it in Atlantic City I don't find that it'll be a location to really drive in visitors. Let's face it, AC is a dying city and well in need of attractions to bring tourists and money back into the area. Perhaps when it's completely finished it will better represent the vision. I personally felt the venue was one-dimensional and for the amount of space could've offered a greater variety of music/food to fit various preferences. For now, I can say the live music is a nice addition. In some places it was played so deafeningly loud that it was difficult to really sit, eat and converse if that's what you chose to do. However, If that's your scene you'll likely enjoy it but its also worth noting that the majority of music was country/bluegrass. The drinks were okay. There were no specialty drinks/menu offered but the bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable at preparing classics. As of right now this is not on my must do list for when I visit AC and doubt it will ever be. However, I will be fair and return when the venue is completely finished and possibly update my review.
