Went to Diva Nails on 6/24 with my daughter to get our nails done for her birthday. I got a dip manicure and gel pedicure with the passion fruit pedicure/hot wax. My manicure was super rushed, they had a used towel on the manicure station with nail clippings on it (my tech just dusted them off and used the same towel), my tech used dirty supplies, and just didn't do a very good job. My dip manicure was over top of my cuticles and on my skin. My pedicure was also rushed and my gel polish didn't even cover my nails. My daughter got acrylic nails and a pedicure as well and her acrylics fell off after 3 days. Our total bill was $310 (before tip) which I thought was astronomical (I never get my nails done so I don't have much to compare it off of). My nails started chipping on day 4 and look terrible. I scheduled and appointment and wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt considering the reviews left behind. I asked for a pedicure (WHITE TEA EXPERIENCE $55 Pedi Only Harness the power of the White Tea with healing Guavaberry and organic cupuacu butter) and gel manicure . The pedicure was okay up until the color when it was right above the nail bed , when I asked her to remove it she started talking in her language and was upset. She suggested dip powder Instead of a gel manicure and assured me it would last longer so I agreed. Had I known it was going to be a half assed job, I wouldn't have done it. Not only was it many thick layers but I specifically told her I wanted the same color as my feet and all she did was just put clear coating. She charged me $120 . The pedicure was only 55 and the dip was 45 . Tell me why she charged me an extra $20 ?! I also asked for a PARAFFIN WAX $10 but was not done. I am not one to complain and make a scene, I just take my business elsewhere. read more

They were nice there at first, however when doing my nails they didn't listen when I was telling them it wasn't looking right and there were too many mistakes. I am not entirely happy with the turn out and I asked for a full set but they didn't even do a proper manicure before putting on my acrylic. They also didn't lotion my hands or do the simple cleanup like other stores do. I am disappointed because it was quite pricey for their poor service... their attention to detail wasn't yo par and that's the most important thing for me. read more

We scheduled for two pedicures and a dip nail session yesterday only to show up and was told that we only scheduled for a dip. We were seated anyway only to have 4 other people show up immediately after. The owner then approached us again and asked if we were certain we had an appointment for two pedicures. We replied yes, but seeing the distressed in his face knowing he messed up, we decided to leave. Poor handling of taking appointments and won't be coming back again. read more

We went for 2 pedicures and it was 110$ for a pedicure that only lasted 15 minutes. The lady was very rough and made my nails very thin and painful. When they took the drill to take my old nail polish off and took my skin and nail with. But our feet and legs are very soft and our toes are pretty they also get mad if you don't tip. read more

Rushed service. Toe polish was uneven and smudged. Zero communication and made us feel like we were annoying for just being there. Then to top it off, my mom was given used and dirty throw-away flip flops to leave with. Will NEVER go here again and I hope you don't make the mistake of going there. I am one you can say is very picky on who does my nails and lashes and Ihave went to the same person in my town for 20 years but after going here while visiting family I am a forever customer!!! I came in have gel coat removed that had been on 3 1/2 weeks (from a salon in NYS). After removing the gel and pointing to the color I wanted to be put on, she grabbed a blue, not a pale mint, that I had chosen; and started to apply it. I politely pointed out that this was not the color. She became upset, left me there, without any communication as to what was going on, had another girl sit and watch me while the male manicurist finished someone else. The male manicurist did my nails in record time (rush me out?). I did tip but I wish I hadn't now. It's been 10 days, and a nail has chipped. But what really will keep me away is that the color was not placed all the way back to the cuticle so I will need new color anyway by Day 12. This way, they can get you to come back earlier. This was my second time coming to this nail salon. The prices are comparable to other in town. You can go in with out an appointment which is nice. I really don't like the feeling of an assembly line pedicure. Which is what you get here, staff was friendly but hard to understand not sure why they would charge full price for a child. read more

I was very pleased with my pedicure today. A man, whose name I believe was "Yong" (older gentleman) gave me an extremely detailed pedicure with nail art for $40; to include hot towels, sugar scrub, and took well over an hour. He trimmed back my ingrown nails, and really worked on my rough heels and cuticles. Beautiful job, and my feet are smooth for the first time in ages. I will be back. read more

If you want a place where you can go and relax and feel welcome, this is definitely NOT that place. We felt like they couldn't get rid of their customers soon enough. Just slap on the polish go sit in one of the pedicure chairs and leave customers sitting alone and ask for your money. Virtually nothing professional about them. Not one person ever smiled, including the employees, the whole time we were there. Every person who did come in during our visit was complaining about something that was wrong with whatever they had done. I'm not one to review, however my nails turned out horrible. I could do better using my left hand. I asked for a French tip faded ombré over a natural nail color. I even gave a picture of what I had envisioned. I tried correcting the nail tech several times to ask her to at least blend the nail to make it look okay (which I normally never do). I even tried having my friend explain for me. The result speaks for itself. I'm so grateful her son from Nail Central is willing to help fix my nails for me! Went to Diva Nails about 2 weeks ago for a pedicure and manicure for my daughter and me for our vacation. They have gotten new owners. First of all, they have increased their prices considerably. The pedicures were just okay..not great by any means at all. The lady who did mine couldn't speak a work of English, which is okay, but she couldn't understand what I wanted either. Then she did my nails. I got a dip, which is okay, but again not great. Some of my nails were not filed down much. I bite my nails so it's taken a lot for me to grow them out and I really just wanted a manicure. I doubt I will ever go back. I miss the old Diva Nail owners. read more

Well.. I decided to go get my nails done with my mom one day. And I have gone to beauty school and I know a lot about how to clean and maintain a salon. Now normal customers would think the establishment is clean because for the most part it is. However. Nail bits, files, and stations should be cleaned and sanitized after EVERY customer. I could tell they were short staffed when I came in so the guy was rushing to get people in and out. He had a towel laid out on his station and had just finished with a client. When he prompted me to come he didn't change the towel, the nail bits had white residue left on them from previous use on the lady before me. He was very rough when filing my nails, there was acrylic all over my cuticles and around my nail bed and on my skin. He even nicked my cuticle on my pinky while filing (and I noticed blood after I washed my hands). I didn't say anything at the establishment cause I was scared at the moment and they couldn't understand me very well when I spoke. But not only that my nails were uneven some had lumps/bumps from inconsistent application and filing. Overall my experience was unpleasant. I ended up going home and poured hydrogen peroxide on my pinky to kill any chances of infection from the knick I had. Luckily nothing happened from it but it's very dangerous to be careless with sanitizing/cleaning in this industry. DO NOT RECOMMEND! I would do 0 stars if I could. read more

I have been here several times at received very nice pedicures. However the last time we went I brought my daughter and the younger guy did her nails and cut her several times removing her cuticles. I took my 9yr old there last weekend for mother-daughter pedicures. The man who did my pedicure was pulling out my feet and jabbing my nails very roughly with an instrument. When I told him to stop because it hurt he just frowned at me and kept doing it. He also used a file on my foot when I asked him not to because I did not have rough feet at all. I spent an hour today trying to fix the pedicure that he did and to fix how rough my feet are from when he use the file I told him not to. The toenail polish is very smudged and looked horrible it was all over the skin on myself And my daughters toes. I will never go back there! read more

Here is the scoop. I shop at King Soopers once per week and recently I noticed Diva Nail salon (I have not lived here long, but I do go to City Nails typically) ... this week I was pressed for time and decided to give them a try... The min. I walked in I was greeted and asked what I wanted? I replied, "A regular nail polish manicure" - then the women started in on me about why don't I just get the Gel? Or Shellac? She went on and on about how much better they are. And I politely said, "No", "No, thank you", "No, I just like regular because I do a lot of gardening so I get it done once per week!" Then finally I had to say, "Look, I only want a regular polish manicure, can you give me that?" So she said yeah... pick a color, have a seat. Once seated, nail polish in hand, she began taking off my nail polish but not all of it - I had on a bright, copper orange color on, and she kept telling me how hard it is to take off because "I did it at home!" and she still never removed all of it, beyond that she gave me lukewarm water, used a thick base coat nail polish which ultimately left a clumpy look (you ladies know what I mean)Additinally she grabbed my hand, jerked it, rolled her eyes, spoke in Vietnamese and asked for her money. I was so offended and I highly recommend that NO ONE go here for ANY service. These people were extremely unprofessional and at the end, she tossed my handbag on top of a trash can. WTHeck?? Although we were seated almost right away, one pedicure and one manicure, I (the manicure) had to wait 5 - 10 minutes while she tended to other customers, was talked into the gel polish which is an extra $15. She was so distracted by seating other customers and the talk around the shop a simple manicure turned out to be so difficult it looks like my 5 year old neice did my nails. They are not all shaped the same, some are rounded others are still square, the polish was not evenly painted on, so it is heavy on the side, little poish on the tips, and there are bumps. There is a fleck of dirt or other polish, I dont know what it is aside from a black speck in my pink polish, and the edges are rough. When asking about a discount for them, our card was already swipped, and no discount, then wanted me to sit down so she could fix them even though she was already with another customer. Who has the time to spend hours just for a simple manicure because you are waiting for her to finish other customers, wait on walk ins, and watch as she figures prices for other customers. read more
