Everything that you can possibly think of can be hired at this loft-smelling, humble store, from Medieval costumes to Roman dresses to Victorian wear, to 70's flares, all at quotable hire prices. There's also a great selection of purchasable costumes hanging from the ceiling, and if you're more interested in dressing up as a mascot, you can hire giant Sonic, Shrek, or Bart Simpson heads. Yay! Pinocchio's looks quite traditional both internally and externally. The life size statues of a cow and a bowler-hatted chap (both standing outside) are unmissable from the roadside and the pavement of the Pershore Road. So you won't have any problems trying to find the store at all. Inside, you'll be greeted by more statues of cowboys, indians and other stereotypes, all helping to make the whole costume shopping experience feel fittingly theatrical!

If you were ever to invite me to your fancy dress party and I tell you that I'm washing my hair, or re-arranging my sock drawer, then I'm lying to you. I'm at home in front of the telly, counting my blessings. However, even if you aren't unlucky enough to be invited to a fancy dress party this is a charming shop and my son LOVES it. There are wall-to-wall costumes of just about any sort you can imagine. If you fancy being a cowboy, Wonderwoman, a caveman, or anything else you can think of, this is without a doubt THE place to go in South Brum.

I have brought a wig from here which was 3.99 and a hula beach fancy dress pack with a grass skirt, cocunt bra and necklace for 7.99. I think the prices are fair. They have a no refunds policy as many people will wear fancy dress once and I think they fear that their rent business wont get many people if they offer refunds people can wear it and bring it back the day after. They have a wide range of joke things instore for example woopie cushions and black soap. Only a few in Dudley so would try this one for a renting service, prices depend on the costume.

Lisa the…read moreowner is brilliantly helpful if you have a costume idea in mind chances are she can help you put together the perfect pieces to make it happen. I have visited multiple occasions (I go to a lot of themed birthday parties and celebrations okay?!) and she has always helped me put together my costumes which have ranged from she-ra to more recently a 1980's Madonna (no no cone boob madonna). Although she easily has the range of the pre packed costumes to suit most themese she never pressurises you into them and instead gets creative so you walk away happy. To give you an example, my she-ra costume we put together through combining her Xena costume with a bright red cape, she knocked up right there and then! Although it's true she doesn't offer refunds, she does offer a returns policy whereby you can pay in full for the costume but then if you return it she will give you part pack, so it is a hire charge. Even so I find her prices very competitive and have never wanted to return anything I have bought. Definitely visit her for your fancy dress needs.
