His piece also had a BB in it . The meat that I had taken there had no foreign substances in it. I called them. I was told nothing they could do. What a rip off !. It was not my meat that i got back. So I called the store to file a complaint and after telling the story to a person who didn't get it, I asked for a manager and eventually got to the manager on duty...., Ivan (yes, the same guy that did the terrible job at checking my groceries out). I decided to get a pastrami and a pulled pork sandwich to go. The kid behind the counter actually heated up the two meats in a pan, I thought that was a nice touch. The lady was very nice and served it to me with a smile. I got 4 elk burgers to grill and I have had two. They are kind of gamey in a nice way and super lean. I will add some salt and pepper to it when I grill it up tonight. I might even add a slice of pepper jack to add a little fat to the meal. It went well with a nice side salad and some zucchini sticks. This place was a great small town meat market and there was a vegetable stand in the parking lot and I got some great cherry tomatoes.
