There is ample parking for both residents and their guests. I will say this is not the type of community where neighbors are constantly in each other's faces and forced to "bond". I don't know the name of any of my neighbors however If I notice a package on their doorstep being left for a couple of days I will take it and leave them a note, or turn it in to the office. That way its not noticeable that someone is out of town. I have done this on several occasions and I have not received any complaints for it. The walls are really dense as well. My roommate and I have a 2 bedroom and we can barely hear each other in the same apartment. I have never heard my neighbors conversations. There might be the occasional yelling or garage disposal but nothing out of the ordinary or unbearable. All work request have been handled withing 24 hours, usually within 2 hours of the request. I love that everything is an urgent matter, even when its just a leaky faucet. Living here has been effortless and resigning our lease was a no-brainer.

Usually other places don't care to help and just have you pay the hundreds in fees and wish you luck. They helped me figure out how to get the app to work and were quick to get me back results. The follow up afterwards was great. The amenities are wonderful, the staff is helpful, the apartments are nice, the neighbor seems safe, and it's in a nice location.

My partner and I are moving from California and we planned a trip in September to see the area and check out a few communities in preparation for our move in December 2020. I called and left a voice message a couple of weeks ago and received a call back from Parker early the very next day when the office opened up again. Parker was very pleasant over the phone and answered all my questions. I set up an appointment for 9/17 And we met Chelsea when we arrived. She was very sweet, patient, and welcoming to us. She gave us a tour of three different layouts and we really liked all of them. The community seemed very clean. The rent rates were fair and they had specials going on. We really enjoyed our tour. This place is still our number one choice after visiting a few other communities. A lot of it had to do with the hospitality and outstanding customer service from the staff. The meme wall at the office was a nice touch. Made us laugh early on in our visit. The dog treats in the cute little lobby made us feel that our service animals will be welcomed. Moving can be a scary and stressful process especially when it's out of state. Parker and Chelsea made it a little less scary for us. If I could rate them lower I would.When I moved in it took several months to get everything working, from my sink falling out of my counter, to a moldy washing machine and broken dryer, broken heat during a big freeze for over 72 hours, I've seen it all. I paid so much extra in utilities because my hot water heater was old and breaking constantly. Management also refused to answer reasonable questions, such as the brand of rock salt they used in the winter (my dog had ingested it and I needed to figure out the tox report for her vet team). I did not feel safe living here, I nearly got hit by several cars speeding, accosted by other residents and vistors, and someone lacked the ability to control their dog. I had to physically pull a 45+ lbs dog off of my 12 lbs one. My upstairs neighbor was loud, smoked (in a smoke free community), and when I complained I was told "he's been gone for months," "Nobody lives up there," etc when I've seen him go home every day. I was told once to confront him myself by management because they were too short staffed to do it themselves. I once found threatening notes from and to other neighbors and weapons such as crowbars stuck in the ground. Oh, also nobody picks after themselves. Maintenance is incompetent and cost me several hundred dollars in medical expenses, after I alerted them of my vents being filthy and causing my allergies to me to urgent care multiple times. My doctors all instructed me to avoid my allergens, and the head of maintenance ignored my instructions and blew the filthy vent crud all over my apartment to "clean it." The entire time I lived here, I thought I was going crazy from all the gaslighting from the staff. I attempted to speak to the property manager SEVERAL times and she refused to acknowledge me. Her underlings also covered for her and deflected at every chance they got. They would constantly acknowledge my experience here was terrible and they will do their best to "improve" but in the end nothing was ever done. Do not waste your time, money or energy here.

have been a resident at Midtown Green since 02/14/2020…read more I've been borrowing my mom's car since then, which is registered in NY. The car hasn't been back in 2 years to be inspected so I don't have an up to date registration. I have an official letter/form from the NY Dept. of Motor Vehicles saying that they are aware and I have an exception. I left my car for almost 2 weeks in the same spot to ATTEND MY FATHER'S FUNERAL (which was 5 days ago) and my car was fine. I had been in town 24 hours and my car was towed, for my apartment lot, with my park placard on it. I explained the situation to Unlimited Towing and they just want their money and said I was parked on private property (which is weird since it's essentially my drive way) I called Midtown Green's leasing office and their Community Manager wouldn't even get on the phone with me. They said I needed to take it up with Unlimited Towing and that they would not reimbursement the $240 it will take for me to get my car back and that they had nothing to do with it I would have to talk t unlimited recovery. Someone called a towing company to have me towed so I called my NEW apartment complex, Park Central (shout out to Hannah for being the absolute best) who gave me the number for Kane public safety. I also explained to her the situation and she said i would be put on a list so that I would never be towed from their deck. I called Kane Public Safety and they said that all they do is patrol the deck and that they don't know who is supposed to be there and who isn't AND that they definitely are not looking at expired tags. I was told that SOMEONE in my LEASING OFFICE had to call and request Unlimited Towing to come get my car. I would give this apartment complex a 0 if I could solely for this situation alone. Pay the extra money and move to Park Central.

"The Height of Urban Luxury" ???…read more Southpoint Village can only be referred to as a "luxury" apartment complex in the same sense that jumping out of a 10th floor window can be called a way to exit a building. As of this writing, it is Memorial Day Weekend and the pool, which is supposed to be open year-round, is empty and nowhere near ready for use. The only community grills are locked inside the fence alongside sun-bleached, grimy furniture that evokes a long-forgotten roadside motel. In keeping with that aesthetic, at least half a dozen abandoned cars are scattered throughout the parking lot. It is inconceivable that management hasn't noticed these cars. As my photos show, some lack license plates and have flat tires. While the units are spacious in terms of total square feet, the layouts are poorly designed. Massive dining areas cut heavily into the living rooms, and in most layouts, the kitchens are cramped. The fake wood floors are impossible to get clean, and the hot water tanks are too small if you happen to have long hair or simply enjoy a good shower. As for the appliances, they are beyond terrible--it's as if someone traveled back in time and raided a warehouse in the Soviet Union. The staff are personally very nice, but it does not substitute for their incompetence. Aside from failing to prepare the pool for summer or address the abandoned vehicles, their communication is abysmal. To announce a mandatory maintenance entry, management bypassed email and the community app entirely. Instead, they opted to post a single paper printout at one specific office entrance. Because of this, I was getting out of the shower when maintenance knocked a few times and immediately began unlocking my front door. In any other complex this wouldn't be an issue, but these doors cannot be deadbolted from the inside to prevent staff entry. There are a lot of apartments within a few miles of here. If you want luxury, or the guarantee of privacy, I suggest you look elsewhere.

When we arrived, there was nobody in the office, in the middle of the afternoon on a Friday. We finally met up with the leasing agent, who informed us there were no elevators on the property. My husband, who is a wheelchair user, was unable to even see the unit she had available and she then went on to tell us that some of the amenities were down a flight of stairs. Considering this property was built in 2006, this is literally illegal. It is fine to have some units only accessible by stairs, but the common areas MUST be accessible per the ADA. This was a very short tour and I will probably be reaching out to the management company as well. This is absolutely unacceptable in 2023. Besides that, there was nothing special about the community, and we were not even shown the pool area, or other amenities. It was all under renovation so hard to tell what was construction and what was just the state of the community. Fine if you want the bare minimum with a mall in your backyard, but if you want anything above that, look elsewhere. I cannot support a company that doesn't abide by the laws for equal access.

The common areas are already in disrepair. They were made to look nice upon construction but were composed off low-grade materials that haven't stood the test of a couple months. For example, 4 of the 6 pockets on the pool table have fallen out - how does that happen? The parking garage is kind of a pain in the rear-end. Also, during our stay here, idiot tenants pulled the fire alarm twice - once at 4 in the morning! I would avoid this place. There are much better apartments in Raleigh.
