This apartment complex has it's positives and negatives as every place does. I will start with the negatives.
The noise level of our latest neighbor is beyond almost tolerable. The person who lives above us is literally the loudest person ever and apparently doesn't sleep as they come alive at 12:30 AM and is a very heavy heel walker and paces back and forth a lot. I question how a person can stomp walk so loudly. VERY irritating. Had I known this person was going to move in , the lease would not have been resigned. Two complaints were made already and they were useless. It is so bad the lease may have to be broken.
The halls can smell of garbage because everyone leaves garbage out to be collected at certain nights. The garbage is not always picked up when its supposed to. The complex does clean the carpets often which is good but that is also very heavily scented if you are sensitive to smells.
Speaking of smells, I would say this complex has 60% if not more of the residents own a dog or two. So , that means you will deal with lots of barking, a heavy intense heat wave of dog piss that hits you when you walk out a main door , and also dog crap on the side walk. I personally don't have a dog , but I like them a lot so I am tolerant of this but some may not be. The piss smell when its summer is really gross though, ugh!
The parking is HORRIBLE!! Whoever made this complex didn't account for parking. Basically now that that full capacity has been reached finding a spot is tricky in the afternoon hours. Parking got so bad that management has reserved parking for people who want to pay extra for it.
In the bathrooms water pressure is low at least in my unit and the lightning is very poor.
The traffic around this complex is very busy and will only get worse as a new complex of some sort is being built across from us.
Ok, so although that sounds horrible, this place is not that bad besides the person above us being unreasonably loud. I will say the person before her wasn't this loud, so it has to be the person .
On to the positives! Which I can say are many.
The apartments themselves are large and are stunning in design and well thought out in function. Beautiful modern appliances and hard floors. The feng shui is on point. I would also claim this as well about the outside activity areas . No smoking anywhere inside or outside!
The gym is great, has nice new equipment and also a separate room for yoga. The lounge upstairs is large and has lots to do for fun and has a free Starbucks coffee machine. The pool is very nice and is saltwater. The mailroom is pretty secure for packages , although has issues but it more of a postal problem at times not the complex. The security is good as the doors have a unique lock on them to get in. There are two amazing trails just walking distance from the complex. The staff is always very friendly and they do care and try to fix any issue if they can. The cleanliness of the complex and upkeep is really good except the issues of the dogs all pissing right outside the main door , guess that can't be helped though, lol. The airport is 5 mins away and so are the highways. Elevators are in key locations for easy transport . Design wise, it's very modern ritzy hotel/resort . Every guest that has come to visit is blown away by the awesomeness of it all.
So , in conclusion would I recommend living here?
It depends on the person and what they consider to be important for them personally. It will be a miracle if I can make it through the remainder of my lease because of the person above. While there is a lot of pretty convenient things about this complex that easily beats many others, just two bad things are what will keep me from resigning or finishing the lease. The noise mainly and the traffic. If that is something you can deal with just fine though, I absolutely suggest this complex.
