The company I work for has spent 10's of thousands or more on basic supplies and stihl equipment,…read moreand plenty of stihl repairs. Last year, we dropped off a 14" demo saw for a stripped armature bolt to be repaired. After 4 months of phone calls, the saw was still not repaired. At the beginning of this year, one of our project managers went to see what was going on, and they handed him a box of parts and said it wasn't repairable. (The saw was fully functional when it was dropped off for a stripped bolt) I spoke with the manager at the time, Mike and explained the situation to him. He was going to see what happened to try to make things right. Fast forward to yesterday 5-12-26, I am back in town from a long project and checked in on the saw situation. Was told Millers was sold and Mike was no longer there, new Owner Ray came and spoke with me i explained everything and he said he would look into it, took my name and number. The stihl guy from the back told me it wasn't my saw that it was registered to some woman, and walked away never to return. Ray called me about an hour later, telling me my saw was not running when dropped off (so I'm lying) and that it isn't even my saw (am I a thief?) and they would not be repairing it or doing anything to make it right for me. If I could leave zero stars, I would. I have been a patron of this store for 15+ years with no issue, but the last 6+ months have been a disaster.

I purchased a Simonton Bay window from these folks. The selection process was standard procedure:…read moretwo visits to their showroom which featured manufacturer supplied samples in a showroom. The salesman WAS knowledgeable but he didn't give me any real "insider" information. I spent a lot of time standing at the counter waiting for help on my first visit and when I picked up the window. When I decided on a selection, there was no dealing. This is the price, take it or leave it. When I wanted the window's exterior color to be brown, a $400.00 charge was added. I thought this was exorbitant given the fact that all that was done was to paint the outside. When I asked why I couldn't paint it myself for less than $50.00, I was told it would void the warranty. I can't imagine it will never require painting in the future. The warranty is lifetime. Would the manufacturer come and paint it when it needs it? The computer ordering system they use is slowww. Be prepared to be there awhile to get through ordering. 22 months later, I am having a problem with one of the flankers (side windows that open) not closing. When I called, I talked to a guy named Rich. RIch is of the Marvic mindset--we move at our own speed and we have procedures that seem to slow everything down to a crawl. I got used to waiting on this company. It took five repetitions for him to record my email address. Resolution: I called the manufacturer directly. It turns out, the three email attachments, 2 of them pdf forms Rich emailed me to complete and return were unnecessary. I described the problem, I was referred to a tech guy, he is sending the parts Fed Ex. I thought to myself, Rich could have done this a week ago. So the bottom line is that these guys have jobs selling products but they are plodding and old school about service and thinking on their feet. I never got the impression anyone was thinking how can I make this easier, faster, and keep this guy as a customer.
