Hi, I've been a customer of Bryan Furniture for the last 4 years. I normally don't write many…read morereviews, but I had to acknowledge the great customer service at this furniture store. I bought a large sofa that had 3 recliners, and 2 additional seats in it. I bought this sofa for great price over 2 years ago. I've enjoyed the sofa very much, but recently one of the mechanisms in one of the recliners broke making it hard to open and close. I called Bryan Furniture to just see if I could replace the one recliner, since the sectional came in three parts. Joe, a friendly and knowledgable salesman called the manufacture himself to find out what could done to fix or replace the individual recliner. The manufacturer stated the part I'm looking for including the entire sofa is no longer being made, or serviced. Joe apologized for my convenience and said he would be willing to take back my entire old sofa, and exchange it for a brand new one of my choice(within reason). :-) You just don't see customer service like this anymore. I recommend Joe, and Bryan Furniture for all your household needs. Excellent store with huge varieties at great prices. Class A place. Sincerely, Aron.

I was in need of a twin size mattress. On July 23rd I called Anderson Warehouse Furniture after…read moreseeing a commercial. The commercial advertised a ''queen size mattress for $169; so I wanted to know the cost of a twin. A young lady answered the phone. I explained the advertisement to her and inquired about the price of a twin mattress only. She placed me on hold to speak to a salesperson. When she came back on the line, she informed me that the queen mattress price was an old advertisement. And that they had twin mattress for $129. On Friday, July 30th after work I went to Anderson's prepared to leave with a twin mattress. Upon entry I was greeted very loudly from across the room. After browsing briefly, the same salesman that shouted at me, met me in the mattress area.. I explained to him about the phone call and what the young lady told me. He showed me a very flimsy mattress, that's suitable for toddlers; I assumed that was the $129 mattress. He told me the price of it was $249. I instantly rebutted and asked him, " Where is the $129 mattress I was told about? No need for any more questions." I walked away and asked another employee the name of the person in charge, and if he would write it down. HE was very rude. "Who Lowell? The owner is Lowell Anderson, the name of the store is Anderson furniture." I replied, "Does the owner work in the store with you all? Who is in the store that is over all of you, the manager?" He asked me why i wanted the information! I said because I'm a customer with a complaint,, i'd like to talk to management." He just displayed a nonchalant demeanor, with a smug look on his face. I exited the store, very disappointed. Once outside, I called Big Lots.... headed to Carbondale and purchased a twin sized Sealy mattress for an adult. And get this, I paid $241.44 after taxes!! I don't recommend any person of color to attempt to shop at Anderson's Furniture. I don't think we are welcome. But at the end of this life.... we all must face a LOVING, HOLY GOD. I want to give a special shout-out to Chris, an associate at Target in Marion, IL. This store is…read morealways immaculate and well-stocked, with a good selection of reasonably priced items. Once I finished shopping, I was privileged to be in the checkout line to witness Target employee Chris interacting with the customers ahead of me. He was so professional and friendly, handling each person as if he knew them, issuing a warm smile with every interaction. I saw other Target associates come to him asking when to take their breaks or how to handle a particular issue. Chris quickly answered them without losing track of the task or customer in front of him. When it was my turn in line, I asked him how long he had been in management because he looked so young. To my surprise, he told me that he was not a manager. I wish more people with customer service jobs took the time to engage with those around them, as Chris at Target in Marion, IL, does. If you value excellent customer service, a wide selection of products, and value for your money, see Chris and the folks at Target. When you go by, tell them Kindra Speech sent ya!

The store is a shithole, but their staff is great.
