What should have been a straightforward patio door purchase turned into a nine-month ordeal involving three separate orders, lost items, incorrect replacements, and consistently disrespectful treatment. I'd rather buy a budget door from Lowe's than ever deal with this company again. Consider this a warning. While I usually believe "you get what you pay for," these doors were far from cheap and came with nothing but frustration, errors, and dismissive customer service.

They say they'll fix it. Well it's been 2 1/2 months and they haven't. They ordered the wrong door for the garage. Again they say they'll deal with it, but it's been a month and a half. However, the worse problem we've had is that they gave us bids for the job and EVERY item has cost more. They say they will look into the price variations, but I will probably have to sue them. They think that because they don't have a lot of competition they can get away with bait and switch along with poor service

We recently completed a major renovation on our home due to Hurricane Matthew. We made the…read moreunfortunate decision to use Grayco for our Anderson sliding glass doors. One of the door panels was damaged on arrival -- it was clearly from a different lot and no quality control had been performed by Grayco before delivery to our home. In fact, we did not discover the defect until the old doors were removed and we were forced to install the damaged door. Anderson replaced the door several months later due to Grayco's lack of follow through. We also had to order an additional screen door that we had forgotten to order. It took months for this simple screen door to arrive. It was installed while we were away for a couple of hours, and when we returned and attempted to open the screen door, it would not move. It is completely inoperable and no one at Grayco is able to assist. Their customer service is beyond bad -- it appears that they just don't care. Please consider that we paid for our merchandise in full without delay and, as you can imagine, this was not an insignificant amount of money. With all of the stress and hassle associated with a hurricane renovation, it is almost inconceivable that Grayco would provide such poor customer service and general disrespect.

Yeah, I like Lowe's and Home Depot. Always find what I need, prices are reasonable, selection is…read moregood. Sometimes it's hard to find staff, or at least one that has a clue what you're asking. But both are good sources. On the other hand, this Ace Hardware doesn't always have what I want, the pricing is at least 10-15% higher, the selection is not as good.... BUT- yeah, you knew there was a but... I have to say that the people(family?) that work here are incredible!! Helpful, go out of their way to make sure you find what you need (without being obnoxious), offer suggestions, laugh and smile. These are real people doing good work in a meaningful way. Not sure how you feel about that but to me, I'd rather reward people like that and not some corporate giant. Plus, Ace is 4 minutes away and easy to get to with parking at the door. Lowe's and Home Depot are 20+ minutes away- easy choice. Five stars!!

The unprofessionalism demonstrated by General Manager was astounding. Phone calls going unanswered, appointments not kept, paperwork not submitted, and inaccuracies in what was presented. The General Manager finally kept an appointment to measure the space I needed flooring for, only to be unable or unwilling to actually submit a proposal for the work. I followed up three times to request the subsequent proposal and was told on one occasion, when I stopped by the store, to expect a call from the General Manager within the next 30 minutes. I was told this by his coworker who called him in my presence to find out why I never received the proposal. Needless to say, that call from the General Manager was never received. Fortunately, the Bluffton and Hilton Head areas have many options for their flooring needs, and I for one strongly recommend choosing one other than Builtmart, LLC. I arrived at the realization that if Builtmart, LLC was as underwhelming, unreliable, and unprofessional BEFORE getting the sale, then the likelihood is that the quality of the work after securing the contract would probably leave a lot to be desired. My recommendation is to choose your flooring company wisely and choose anyone in Bluffton other than Builtmart.

After inquiring about using it on one item only, I was shown in a not very friendly way, that there was a little tiny sign available that showed all the items that are not eligible for Ace rewards; mostly more expensive power tools. This I think is deception. I refuse to spend any more money there.
