Dr Sutton is thorough and professional. The rest of the staff worked well together and made the process go smoothly. My diagnosis was prompt and i was scheduled for outpatient surgery ASAP to remove the troublesome cyst. Will update this after my procedure next week, but i expect nothing less than outstanding treatment. UPDATE: Ok. The procedure went well yesterday. Dr Hurst is TOP TIER!! I had an excellent experience, from the moment we met. Dr Hurst demonstrated expertise and professionalism, while taking the time to address all my concerns. Taylor, a med student, assisted and she was outstanding, as well. Confident and patient and knowledgeable. Dr Hurst and Taylor made me feel at ease and comfortable throughout my visit. -Went to this group for a body scan and rash. -Gave medications but no directions as to where to put the cream or how. -Called and they did not know the medication I was on and said they would call back but never did.. -They lost my chart. -I asked how to apply a medicating cream and they just said I am trying to help you but no suggestions. read more

I had an appointment scheduled for today with Dr. Sutton. I received the usual reminders, including one today. I arrived and completed the usual information forms. when my name was called, I first met with the medical assistant who took standard info. I then changed into the paper "gown" and waited and waited for the doctor with whom I had made my appointment. By this time, I had received multiple reminders and spoken with 3 different people in the office. Finally, a woman entered and introduced herself as a nurse practitioner; Dr. Sutton was out this afternoon. While the NP was very nice and professional, I should have been notified of the change and offered to reschedule. At that point, I was irritated but proceeded with the appointment because I had arranged my schedule to be there. It was deemed that I need a follow up appointment. Upon attempting to make that appointment, I was told it would also be with the NP. I said I wanted it with the Dr whom I had scheduled my appointment. The person at the desk was very rude and indicated that Dr. Sutton wasn't available until February. I asked that if I had seen the Dr. today and needed a follow up, I would expect it to be with her as well. The office person indicated that Dr. Sutton only saw "serious" cases and a mid-level staff would see me anyway. I said, well the NP did mention possible cancer...again was told either the NP or February. At that, I said I'd take my chances and walked out. The way this entire appointment was handled was unprofessional and the office staff person was rude. I left and later called back to speak with the office manager. I was transferred, it rang 3 times and I was disconnected. I called back and was told the office manager was off. IF YOUR OFFICE AND DOCTORS DON'T WANT TO SEE PEOPLE THE DAY BEFORE A HOLIDAY YOU SHOULD NOT BE OPEN. read more

I saw someone else posted about them ONLY concerned about money... SOO true! I was charged 100 for a no show, when I had an emergency and called when they first opened that day to cancel. Pitiful!! Dr. Sutton was engaging, very thorough and answered all my questions and concerns. I never felt rushed. I have had 3 additional appointments and each has been a very positive experience. I cannot recommend Dr. Eva Hurst of Distinctive Dermatology more. She is an outstanding physician. I've been to her several times now for a number of cosmetic procedures, including Botox, filler, laser treatments, and PRP therapy. Dr. Hurst is smart, friendly, and takes her time with each patient. I've had a very pleasant experience at her office each time I've been - I've never had to wait, the prices are competitive, and I'm very pleased with the results of all of the elective treatments I've had. read more

I went here for several appointments for laser hair removal. First of all, it is almost impossible to get a hold of anyone as it is all automated and typically you have to leave a message to get called back. Multiple times then my appointment was canceled last minute and then they could not see me for another two months. My appointments were continuously pushed back. I know laser hair removal takes multiple appointments. I went to 7 sessions and was continually reassured that it would work. IT NEVER DID! I wasted so much money. I was never compensated for anything of given a free session since it never worked. They would hardly take the time to even talk to me. Each time I had an appointment, while the techs were nice, they never knew what they were doing. I would have to instruct them on what they were supposed to do to prep for the laser treatment. I told them my concerns at each appointment and I guess as long as they were getting my money, they were fine. I am not sure if there laser simply does not work or what. Do not go here for any laser hair removal of any kind. read more

Arrived for 1st new patient appointment a half hour early. Thought maybe I might get seen sooner. Waited past that half hour and 15 minutes into my scheduled appointment. Finally called my name, took me to a room and I waited another half hour before anyone saw me. Was really close to walking out. They really didn't seem THAT busy by the looks of their waiting room. Wait time is horrible. Front desk will give you an attitude as soon as you walk through the front doors. Once you finally walk to the back. You can be assured you will sit in the patient room for more then 30 minutes twiddling your thumbs until the doctor decides to join. Trying to make an follow up appointment, good luck, she was horrible when I politely asked for another date time. It was plain for me to see, this whole office has an attitude of being better then the average folk, they think very highly of themselves and treat you as a poor peasant. And yes I was kind, patient and have more money then most working at the office. In no way, shape or form, do I ever treat anyone this way. My family has been going here since we moved to the area back in 2014. I went in for a visit and when I got the bill we found out I was being charged as a new patient since it had been few years since my last visit. So for a 30 minute appt I was charged appx $400.00. Bad business practice, maybe their way of helping pay for the new building. Unless they resolve this our family will find another Dermatologist read more

I have been going to this office over 8 years and spent $$$$ on their products and services. Dr. Gregory was great. After he retired, I was still seeing the nurse practitioner for my hair. They recently moved to a new office. I usually wait at least 30 min to see the nurse. They made a big deal that I was late 17 minutes and wanted to charge me for "no show". I mixed up the time and called 2 hours after my previous appointment. I understand charging a new patient or someone who is missing appointments frequently, but I have been going to this office over 8 years and usually wait a long time to see the nurse. I find the new staff to be very rude. I already found a new dermatologist and will not be going there anymore. read more

This was the second time I went to this office. The first time they were in Swansea and I seen a NP which was very thorough and treated me like a patient and not a number. The second time I came to the new office and the NP was not there so had to see Dr. Angela Sutton DO. She did not introduce herself, really had no interest in me as a patient seemed like a number. She did not want to take off a small mole which they freeze off, only takes a few seconds. She started to walk out and I had to remind her. She did her quick fix and left, I received a bill for the 5 second blast to freeze to my mole and it was $146.88 which my insurance would not pay. She did not even spray it long enough to remove the entire mole so I still have it there. Very disappointed in the service and her lack of caring for her patient's. I seen on her profile she is new but physicians have to build a rapport with patient's and actually care about them. I do not recommend this particular physician from this office. She does not even show up on Healthgrades. hmmm. read more

I am not happy at all about having to come here. Let me start by saying this is my second visit. My first visit i was 20 minutes early and I waited an hour and half to even be brought back to be seen by the doctor. While the doctor was very nice and thorough, i was aggravated having to wait so long. This time the visit is a nightmare. I was 5 minutes late due to road construction and even called them on my way to let them know. However when I got here, the un-friendly lady at the reception window told me to hang on and walked to the back. When she came back up she informed me that they are running an hour behind and they could fit me in as the last patient since I arrived late....are you kidding me??? She then said did you want to wait that long? I told her I really didn't have a choice since I took off work for this appointment and then just drove 45 minutes to get here.. she then SHRUGGED HER SHOULDERS and "well you were late you know"...not one time did she apologize for the inconvenience or have any customer relation skills whatsoever. This woman should NOT be greeting or dealing with any patients. Im currently sitting in the waiting room with 8 other people, and 2 of them are falling asleep in their chairs. This is ridiculous. Aside from the fact I was 5 minutes late, they were already running behind an hour. read more
