It was on a car that we just use for the train, and he figured out that the battery which I had just replaced has not been fully charged by the gentleman who installed it previously. He ended up bringing it to a store to charge it at no additional charge, reinstalled it, and did so with no drama or fuss. Jay came same day, took care of something that would've taken an inane amount of time and money relative to the issue, and was nice as hell. Would use him again in a heartbeat.

They did a wheel alignment with a broken control arm. There answer is we will give you one for free. So that tells me they do not have educated mechanics. But I do not blame the mechanics for following a business model that rips people off. I will make this quick . After first first issue with tires rim and control arm. My son decided to Give them another chance . they wanted to charge my son the $1200 for replacing a gas exhaust sensor and changing out 4 spark plugs. They were charging the poor kid double the cost that Nissan charged. That cost was $825. Found a local service station that did it in least than an hour and charged $300 with tax and credit car fees. This was a $500 difference. Did not get the plugs done but Pep Boys wanted $400 for 4 plugs and labor. I got a cost at this service station for $180. Beware as this place is there to over sell and upsell not to build a customer base of satisfied customers .All I can say to Ramsey pep boys it will eventually come back bite you right in the butt.
