Stopped in after work based on Yelp reviews~ thankful I did. They had special drinks for month of October so I had a Carmel Apple Cider~ this was a wonderful drink. This is not your typical bar it is really a liquor store. They have a variety of alcohol to purchase for home and a small bar area. A few drafts on tap and a full bar for drinks. My friend had a Pecan Beer that was tasty (this from a Non-Beer drinker). Stop in, bring in your own food and enjoy a drink. read more

Aw Distil. This is one of Farmington's better establishments. Not only are they a liquor store, stocked with a great variety of beer, wine, liquor, and other libations, they also have a bar! But beyond the bar, they allow you to bring your own food and snacks! What!? Yup, you can order a pizza and eat it at Distil while enjoying something from the store or bar. I mean the bar has snacks too! But I've never been to a place that lets you bring your own food to hang out. The older fella who works there is always super friendly and personable. He's happy to make recommendations for those out there who are indecisive. They have all the imports and local variety you could want really. The only downside is that they close kinda early so it's not really a late night hang. Distil is more of an after work delight with friends. read more

Love this place! All the bartenders are wonderful, attentive, and can mix a drink! They also have the best selection of beer, wine and spirits in the area, including high-end liquor. Something I've really enjoyed and find unique, the owner has purchased their own barrels, which makes for a flavor that is different than anywhere else. My personal favorite was the Jack Daniels barrel (but I'm a whiskey drinker); the Doble was also very good, and I'm not a huge fan of tequila. You'll certainly see me there. Distil has not only the largest selection of craft beers in town, but also the highest quality selection of beers (mostly sixers and bombers) that is light years ahead of any other liquor store in the area. While there appeared to be a focus on big IPAs and their mutant evil twin - the palate wrecking, lust inducing, nectar of the gods, Imperial IPA - there seemed to be something there for any palate: wheats, pilsners, farmhouse ales, belgians, big stouts, and the list goes on. The Distil beer buyer also must have an unhealthy obsession with Rogue Brewery (I'm not judging!!) because they seem to have every beer ever made by Rogue - including the current Voodoo Doughnut release and Beard Beer made with wild yeast from a brewer's beard...have fun with that one. But I digress. Even though I was very focused on the magical oasis of beers, I was able to take note of the equally delightful availability of unique wines. I highly encourage any Farmington area resident or visitor to spend a few minutes at Distil after a hectic workday. One can even have a drink or two in the store - there's a full bar, great seating area, and for a $2 fee, you can drink any bomber of beer that you've purchased in the store. read more

Every night they have different deals including margarita nights, wine nights, Canadian mule, etc. the bartender is very knowledgeable and will make a drink specifically toward your taste.
