A few days after my initial comment, I connected with a statistician through another dissertation editing company only to find out that the information that I received from the statistician from Dissertation Editor was 100% incorrect. This man was literally recommending me to run statistical analysis (t-test or ANOVA) on numbers that were already crunched. I showed him the data that I had and asked him if I could do t-test or ANOVA and he said, "yes." I didn't have individual student scores, all I had were the percentage of students that performed at each level (exceed, meet, below, and academic warning). Only percentages representing a group of students. After speaking to the other statistician and reading "SPSS Statistics" by Andy Field, I realized how terribly inaccurate the editor from Dissertation Editor was. I cannot even fathom the damage in psyche and time he would have done if I would have formulated my entire dissertation proposal following his advice. I would've been shot down by the committee and wasted valuable time. DO NOT HIRE THEIR SERVICES. THEY ARE NOT LEGIT! Feel free to contact me and I can share the information to the people assisting me now. They are 50% of the cost of Dissertation Editors, available, committed, knowledgeable and accurate. To make matters worse, I decided to do a little digging on this company and there are many red flags you can see just by visiting their website. I regret not seeing them before. One thing for instance is that they have pictures and partial names of "consultants" that work with them who look totally made up for 2 reasons: 1. They didn't post the consultant's full name. Robert T., Michael B., and Jill S. What consultant doesn't want their full name posted, but would be okay posting their picture? Doesn't make sense. This is done so that no one can check to see if they actually exist or actually have a doctorate degree. 2. The way the consultants' titles are written is 100% against any guidelines. You don't use Dr. and Phd with a person's name, it's one or the other. But they did: Dr. Robert T., Phd... all of the consultants titles are written that way. If those individuals really existed, I'm sure one of them would have noticed and would have said something because it's embarrassing. Do not sign up with this company. Everything about them seems very fishy. And that 5 star review by Robert M. sounds fishy too. I found this service through a very quick google search and it seemed legit. The service time was okay--could have been faster. It seemed like I was waiting days before getting solid responses. I was quoted at one price, which in my opinion was far too high, but I agreed to pay in order to have the services rendered. I was assigned a statistician who was moderately helpful to me. First of all, I would receive an email hours beforehand to inform me that the statistician would be calling me that day (advanced notice would have been better). The statistician conducted the analyses for me but did not do all that was asked and agreed upon. In addition, I was given a specific date when I was supposed to receive my results by, and I did not receive the results until a week or so after the promised date, and that was only after I called to complain and sent an angry email. If you're thinking of hiring Dissertation Editors I STRONGLY urge you to reconsider. The service is neither timely nor cheap, and you may not even get what you're paying for. I don't have issues with the cost, because if I was getting what I had actually paid for, I believe the cost, although expensive, would have been fair. But unfortunately, after paying over $100 for a simple consultation and then over $700 for my analyses, I did not get what I was supposed to get--THERE WAS INFORMATION MISSING! After inquiring several times with my statistician and Allen, I just gave up because I don't have the energy to keep badgering this company to get the remainder of my results.
